- Join my VLOG with RUclips friends as we take a daytrip into Joshua Tree National Park in California. It would take many days to see the entire park and all of its campgrounds, but we were really surprised at all the beautiful sights we found!
Thanks to everybody who supports this channel at / campervankevin
Campervan Kevin stickers available on my YT homepage
I like watching the pups run around off leash. They stay right around the campsite and don't wander off.
Tucker goes too far, and Baby MaeMae will follow if I don't catch her doing it. We are working on it. Too many things to go wrong.
Warms my heart to see all the fur babies playing together and being free off leash, and just plain loving life... beautiful innocent spirits who have amazing loving parents... hugs to all...
they are my life. Moo Moo is a very sweet soul! She likes the Woof Packs lamb and rice food. She sneaks in every chance she gets for a bite. Of course she is welcome. Ausia is very nice to my dogs too
Thanks Kevin it's all so beautiful 🙏🏻🇺🇸🇦🇺
nothing like seeing it in person though
Campervan Kevin It's a pipe dream Kevin but we are going to hit the road in 18 months once our last boy hits the road. We will be doing a RUclips channel on this trip.
Good luck to you & fellow RVer's & thank you for taking the time to answer back Kevin it means a lot.🙏🏻👍🏻🇦🇺🇺🇸
Yet another great campervan production! Thanks Kevin!
appreciate that. Brain and Ausia are editing masters.
Thank you for showing so many beautiful places!
Safe travels to you & the Woof Pack!
💕🐶🐶🐶💕
Kevin, you're making some great videos, showing us this beautiful country. My favorite part of them, however, is when you show the doggies playing. I love the woof pack.
I try to mix it up. Thanks for watching us!
I lived in desert hot springs in the 90s your making miss the desert great vid Kevin the sky is awesome at nite all lit up with those stars
incredible at night?! right?!
It is wonderful to see , Mother Natures way of Adaptation . Ty.
she looks out for herself don't she?
Yes she sure does :)) And how wonderfully so .. It is nice to see , no matter where we come from , that we can appreciate Nature .. Thank you for posting
this . It had meaning ..
Something I never thought of is how pitted windows get from the sand... I spend my winters camping at Sand Hollow and I wound up pitting the windows on my beautiful Tahoe 😊
oh no. Mine seem fine
Campervan Kevin just something to keep in mind 😊😊😊😊😊
Great places! Thank you for the video. Safe travels my friend.
Nomadic Dane vv
thanks!
thank you so much for the tour! It is wonderful to see so many wondrous and beautiful places, especially because you appreciate their beauty as well. Safe travels!
thanks for watching us! I am having a blast
Lots of vegetation for such a dry place. Also didn't expect the smoothness of the rocks. Be safe.
The dogs playing made me laugh. So cute.
better than tv
Gorgeous scenery.
yep!
I love the beauty of the rocks. Great video, Kevin, thank you for sharing.
The rocks when you hit them make a hollow noise. I sure wish I recorded it. It was almost as if they were fake! No kidding!
Camped there quite a bit when I was younger. This video makes me want to go back.
worth the trip
Great video. Loved the dogs playing. They seem to get along so well.
everybody is happy :)
WOW!! Joshua Tree National Park was amazing. Thanks for the close up of the Joshua tree. Very interesting. Never saw one so close up and you gave an awesome description while filming it.
Keep having fun. Thanks for the video.
thanks for wathcing!
Thanks for showing my neck of the woods. I live in Hemet, down the road off the 10fwy.
Thanks for the video, Kevin. I enjoy that often, you don't need to chatter, you just pause and let the camera do its thing. I really enjoy watching the pups, they are happy, affectionate and playful. Great life for a dog!
in real life I don't think I am chatty. Sometimes I feel that anything I try to ad will just take away what is there
Those cacti are so unique, neat area. Safe travels to you all.
thanks!
Wow...gorgeous place.
What a beautiful, other-wordly location you've found - those joshua trees look fierce!
incredible right?
wow Joshua t ree just went onto my buckets list. looks amazing. Thank you. also so funny seeing all you clogged in the dessert filming etc.
not a wasted trip for sure
Amazing!
Great video, looks really nice. Happy dogs for sure .
yep! dogs are happy
I'm happy for you thst you've decided to leave the nest & decided to see what's up there. You seem to look healthier. Enjoy!
I am happier. Thanks for comment
beautiful landscape shots
its incredible here
this is one awesome vedio . great to see more than one selebritie in one vedio... well done Kevin
glad you enjoyed video! Stay tuned!
loved the video. that place is gorgeous. I think that place is going on my bucket list. as always be safe and enjoy life. give the dogs a scratch from me. can't wait for the next one
lots to see out here. Vids are made and scheduled. Stay tuned!
Love, love, love Joshua Tree NP! Thanks for the beautiful scenery - made me decide to head up there this weekend. I saw on Brian's channel you stopped to eat in 29 Palms! Next time try the 29 Palms Inn. Really funky spot with a garden they use for the restaurant and live music nightly this time of year. The small oasis on the property is what the city was named for (29 palm trees). The large garden is open to the pubic and dates pretty far back along with the inn. You'd be surprised what they grow there (in the Desert!) Nice little jewel in the High Desert...
glad u liked video. I would not suggest the Mexican Restraunt there. Owner was nice, his wife's attitude ruined my meal.
Sorry about the experience. Besides the 29P Inn, the only other restaurants I frequented were a Japanese restaurant and a rib joint. I don't think either is still there though. These days, I usually stop in the city of Joshua Tree if I want to eat out during trips to the Hi Desert - GREAT cafés adjacent to the NP office and a block W of the NP office on the 62. The town is something of a Mecca for vegans/vegetarians, but there's plenty on the menu for those of us who eat meat!
Kevin your videos are getting sooo much better. Love the new opening. Wish we were with you all but not ready with enough solar panels. My Coco would have fun with the woof pack and the other dogs. Maybe next year.
I'm the one who gave you the happyless homeless sticker.
I am trying! Thanks again!!!
Wow look at em !!! Thank you for the close up on the trees. I haven't seen them yet. You are the only Tuber to do the close up. I live in the most NW part of Oregon. Cold Rain snow mix here. Wish i could hang w/ you guys. Full timer on a leash
Think Believe Dream Dare- Og Mandino
Glad you're having a real good time venturing out! I hate being on the road longer than a couple hours, but I dont mind seeing the road from your point of view. Its like traveling without having to go anywhere, hahaha! Keep up the good footage, Man!
everybody's video is different, and we are shooting same thing at same time. funny how many different view points there can be
Hell yeah kind of a little sneak peak of what Brian is up to in the near future and another great video from you Kevin 👌🏻keep up the awesome adventure
thanks for watching us!
I love your videos keep it up
trying hard
Thank you for those close-ups!
some don't like them, but I always wondered what those plants looked like up close, felt others may be like me
Campervan Kevin Well I'm sort of curious that way too!
I hope you are having fun and the Wolfpack
we are having a blast
dogs sure get along well. Got tickled at Carolyn. Putting make up on in front of all. tehe. Sure a unquic area. thank you CVC enjoyed video.
yeah that green hair thing. I gave her lots of grief about it. I love watching women putting on makeup though.
I watched Brian's video this morning so it's funny to hear him in the background saying things I heard in his video. Someone else mentioned this and I agree, I like how sometimes you just shoot, without saying anything. You have a nice mix of commentary and just video.
I am learning. Hopefully my stuff is good enough to watch. I am surrounded by film/editing pros!
breezed through a few of your BT Cruiser videos..it looks like this BT cruiser realy did get you around. Saw one with same mileage and year and leather seats for 18k on rvtrader, then your bt cruiser video came on at same time i was viewing rvtrader....
Woof Pack had great time with Moo Moo. Hope my westies can meet them someday.
Moo Moo is a sweety of a dog!
How do you train the Woof Pack to stay in the grass area outside Walmart? Would love my westies to enjoy the same freedom, but cannot trust them.
san diego next things are getting better better thanks Kevin
well... didn't go, went east
thank you for the great video.
Cheryl
thanks for watching us!
cool:) a lot different then Alaska for sure:)
hope you got warm by just watching !
Nice Kevin!
happy to have met u. be safe
Campervan Kevin Likewise Kevin! Such a pleasure!
Great! As a fellow Georgian, that's just awesome for us to see! I've got to get there, me days are winding down... Oh, if y'all get to San Diego, go to that breakfast place on Camino Del Rio S., (Hotel Circle) parallel to I-8, the BEST pancakes I've ever had! But, do NOT get the coffee. About the nastiest coffee I've ever had. So, for ye joe, go to San Diego Old Town to that coffee shop there. Forgot name, but it's on the left if you walking from I-8 direction (you'll park of course). If the pancake place would get coffee from that place, oh me, we'd have the best!!
headed back east. Thanks for info though
Your wolf pack is damn cute!!
Kevin, how do you prevent your dogs from coming across dangerous animals? Thanks for taking us with you on your journey!
So far, just luck. I try to be careful- but there is no way to protect them 24/7
Awesome pictures. I wondered what those were called. Saw quite a few on highway 40 . Do they bloom?
I dunno. I am learning desert too
Kevin, your so close that you must go to willow beach, AZ. it's a can't miss hidden gem. at least look it up on line
okdok
I found you thru Ausia's channel. Cool vids
She is an awesome person. Good company!
I enjoy your camera work and your subtle commentary. Stunning video.Keep it up!
in the 1800s the first caravans used to light up a jashua tree to have fire all night they have lots of oils like a cumping lantern.
didn't know that! ;)
It's late to the video, but are you all going to the balloon festival in Temecula, June 1,2,3 2018.
I cannot believe all the chemtrails in the sky's out west! We never have them that bad here in MN but we do get them..
makes me wonder why do desert??? what is here?
Campervan Kevin Not sure but but I seem to only see them sunrise and sunset when I'm going to work and when I'm walking my dog after. Maybe they're hiding something?
What's the temp hi and lows. And how do the dogs mind the heat. I have small dogs and the always seem to mind the heat.
low 40s high 60 low 70s. pefect really. gets a little cold at night
Baja!
yep!
I saw an epIsode of dateline about that place. Erin corwin I believe
lots of youtube vids about the slabs
Is it easier or better if I wanted to live in a small rv long term I think a truck and camper would be better than a class c or definitely better than a van. Which would you say is more affordable. I can get a cheap camper where I am for under 1000 dollars with everything working then all I would need is a truck and a solar set up for power. Oh and a generator because I like television too much not to have that. But would a class c be easier than a camper for cold weather camping because I live in ca and that is my only concern for which one to pick. My ultimate goal is to get a bus either a school bus or a 1940s-1970s greyhound style bus.
there are so many types out there. Do your research and go into as many rigs as you can. Talk to as many rv'ers as possible. Find best rv for best price. The perfect rv does not exist...
Does that lady live in her car full time ??????? If so that is amazing and does she have a RUclips Site ???????? I'm taking my first trip in my RV next weekend. Very excited. Planning on at least a month. We'll see. Sorry about so many questions but did they plant those cactus like that or did they just grow that way ???????????? So Cool. Thanks
No she was just visiting. She is buying an rv as soon as she can. It's the desert. The Cactus are wild.
Kevin, Wish you could have made it over to Cap Rock where the unofficial cremation site of Gram Parsons is. It's inside the Joshua Tree Park. Here's the link from Wikipedia:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Gram_Parsons
Gram was a popular singer/songwriter back in the 60's and 70's.
hmmm, did not know
Kevin, do you ever come across scorpions and/or spiders? I am concerned as I have a small dog too. No one has ever mentioned seeing any, but I wondered. Thanks.
not as of yet, I do look
Just found out some rv's can be mortaged. I may look for a class C.
gotta love them chemtrails. You might get labeled for pointing them out these days.
Judy Gaby ZimShad I'm not planting fear just calling out the ones that will call you a conspiracy theorists for it. Those of us alive long enough know the skies never used to be like that.
Awa Kevin, it looks like the ball is to big for your pup to pick up. He /she want's to play ball too. Edited to say, I sub'e. Best wishes.
she is resourceful. I like to watch her solve problems. She is one smart cookie
Is it legal to stay overnight at Joshua tree.
there are campgrounds. However I think everything in life is now illegal.
Dang all the chemtrails at the beginning of the video.
Phoenix sky is the same way today.
It looks like this most days in Louisiana too.
we are nothing but cattle
Jthornton64 they spray alot here at night, if you get up for sunrises its a grid across the sky:( yrs ago when I would comment about the trails people would give that strange look. Lot more folks awake now.
ROFL ... it's the land of my butt cactus!!!! I'll never look at those the same way. ;)
Ausia got bit
sorry u had to leave joshua so soon.
it would take a long time to see it all
Check on Eric haven't seen a video from him today thanks.
he's good
Made me homesick for the desert again best place to live until humans show up. lol
probably less in summer? ha
So, Brian left his van behind?????????
no need for us all to pay an entry fee when we can double up
Ohhhhhh yes, that s the clue, you have to pay, I didn t know that.
after all this is over A few of you will feel lonely lol
it is possible
Wow and I thought they were doing chemtrails here. Weather control at its finest
They take a nice sunny day and wreck it .Although the Barium should make for a colorful sunset.
what is benefit of doing it here??
Used to read about how they would build dams in the sky to control the
jet streams...Looks like if you put a medium up in the sky and hit it
with frequencies that seems to do the trick. Build dams here and there
and deliver the weather to a specific location. That may be one of the
applications of the aerosol spraying.
Who cares what they label a person. Fact is somethings going on. And Nature is being affected by it.
I have been flying RC planes for years never seen all the stuff you see now. My first notice of chemtrails was in 2007 ...Used to be windy here all the time i mean real windy...Not much wind anymore for the last 10 years...just white hazy skies and planes dumping flumes.
I live maybe 100 miles fro.there. the chentrails have been ridicules as of late.
can't figure why they would chemtrail the desert... practice?
