Spending holloween one year at JTNP was one of the best memory I had while rock-climbing in this wonderful place. This is almost 20 years ago. I'm so glad to see younger generations enjoying this NP as much as I have. Please PROTECT our national parks for future generations.
This was a wonderful synopsis of all things Joshua Tree - I come through here often and appreciated being able to see some of the vistas and exhibits I have not yet explored - great video 👍 😊 🌻
Good video I have lived across the street from 49 Palms entrance to the park for 20 +and have never been to a lot of these spots. Thank you great information from a lazy local.....
Because of the varied elevations in Joshua Tree you'll see wildflower blooms from Feb to April. I think March is a good time most years. I normally use this site for up to date info. Enjoy! www.desertusa.com/wildflo/ca_jtnp.html
I'm headed out to Palm Springs for the first time and planned a trip to Joshua Tree, thanks to you, I know which trails will be great for me and my wife! Thanks for a crisp, informative and scenic video!
Black rock campground has some nice hikes around it. The foliage is different from some of the other portions, so I would do both. There's also not a line or entrance fee to hike from there.
Last trip was January 2020 right before the world 🌎 went crazy. When I was hiking this hippie with long dred locks stops me and tells me I'm the chosen one. Said something about emitting a special energy.
I have been at Joshua tree park 3 times I love it but I see that there is a lot I missed we will go back for sure. Thank you this is very helpful I emailed it to myself to make sure I have it in case I can’t find this same utube for info. Thank you.🥰
Hey Lisa, glad you liked the video. I’ve been visiting Joshua Tree for a decade and I’m always finding new things in the park. Hope you get to visit Jtree again soon!
Awesome place to visit. We went last night for the Milky Way. Didn't get back till 6 in the morning but well worth it. My second trip there from Oregon, ,but a true Cali girl.
Hey Joseph, you’ll want to visit during a New Moon (when there is no moon). You can check this site to see when the next new moon is. www.timeanddate.com/moon/phases/
Stock up on food and water as you come up into YUCCA VALLEY at BIG LOTS, 99 CENT STORE, and the WALMART they have a water refill station from 1 gal. To 5 gal. Inside the store in the water isle. 😊.29 per gal bring your own jugs.
Why do people go hiking in the 🏜 without a hat ? I watched a few for research, only 1 lady wore a hat + sunglasses 🕶 😎 BTW, the mining areas reminds me of the Death valley a lot. We were visiting Death valley for a day from Vegas
@@Active_Tours we didn't have a lot of time spend in death valley because it was a day trip from Vegas. Due to the visit on December 11, we saw less than 14 tourists, so that's the part we enjoy the most in 60F day. It's very peaceful 🙂 hopefully I get to visit Jashua tree soon
Mind the cops...the SBC sheriff deputies tried to entrap me for drugs and followed me around. Went as far as driving slowly past me as I rode my bike out of town. Racist as fück...

Fantastic informative video, very well done. Can't wait to go to Joshua tomorrow.
Thank you kindly
Thank you we are planning to visit this winter.
I can do that drive in my Prius?? Fabulous!

16 oz of silver, mostly gathered from teeth that were falling out due to another discovery - peanut brittle. Great video, Thanks!
Awesome video!! Going in a few weeks and cant wait to visit some of these spots!
Thank you! Nicely done.

Awesome video, my friend - Didn't realized that Joshua Tree was so beautiful - now I have yet another item on my bucket list
I highly recommend going in the spring. On top of everything else the wild flowers are amazing and the Joshua Trees are in bloom.
@@Active_Tours Wow! Thanks for the insight. Spring as in late spring (end of May)?

Your videos are great
My pleasure. Glad you like them! Thanks for your support!
Stellar video! We’re planning our trip and you made it so easy! Great content. Thank you.
Josh in Joshua tree how fitting!!!
Lol thanks for your support
That's crazy, to be that brave. Wooow on that tunnel !
cottonwood campground is the only campground in the park with a water dispenser and restrooms that work
Most of these split rocks happen slowing over many, many years, not all at once. The freezing action of water is what does it.

Super helpful video. Exploring this week.
Outside of the park, there's the old schoolhouse museum, giblets orchids (closed to doing tours at the moment), a nature museum, etc to do things.

See this for related , nearby info on night sky ruclips.net/video/7XGkol0lR0o/видео.html
Hello
There ! I mention you in our channel about pioneer town ! Have a good one !
Thanks for the mention!
@@Active_Tours Avec plaisir !
Great vid... going to Joshua tree this weekend. 👍
How was your trip? What was your fav?
Is Split Rock a bouldering problem as well?
I love your video it’s so cool🤭💗
Just curious why Indian Cove didn’t make your list? Loved your tour.
I’ll check that one out next time I go
AMAZING !!! TY
Just came from there . It wasn’t what I expected
What was unexpected?
We’re you using gopro on these trails? Or any camera stabilizer? Thank you
Yeah I was using a GoPro for the POV shots
Great info .. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
great video. very informative
Incredible. Around what time is the Milky Way visible in Joshua Tree? I’ve never seen it and I’d like to see it.

@Linda Loop thx for watching and supporting!!! New video dropping tomorrow on Santa Barbara
Thanks
If you had one stop at JTNP and ONE stop only with a teenage girl as a father, what would you suggest as the best thing to do on a 1st time visit?
Hidden Valley scrambling on rocks
Great info and footage! How much time did it take you to walk the Chasm of Doom
caves out and back?
Doesn’t take long maybe 20 mins if you font stop
What would you say are the easier hikes or sites to see? We only want to go for a few hours for we are pressed for time.
mytubeeeee Hidden Valley is at the top of the list for that. Enter the park from the entrance that’s closest to the town of Joshua Tree. Enjoy!
David Sperling thanks!
Hidden Valley and Barker dam trail. Hope you had or have fun!
Well done.
Thank you!
No love for Mammoth Mine!? 🐘
Thanks for the tip. I’ll look for it next year!

Haha good point. It was 30 degrees at night and 60s during the day. Loads of sunscreen helps too. What was your fav part of Death Valley?

my skin crawled when you went through the birth canal 😖
@Jay Losa 😆 🙏 for your support
Went about a week ago and someone threw an egg at my car. Despite it being a desert, was not a warm welcome.
That was not from local.. sorry tho..
