Some people may consider this morbid but I find it relaxing.
You aren't the only one. I find it very fascinating as well
Same and fascinating
I find it relaxing as well
You are not on your own kiddo x
@Frank Dux …..to you and I and most people, hence why I said “some people” and “may” You know there’s always someone out there who wants to see the dark side of everything. It is what it is and to each their own. Cheers!
I love Hollywood Graveyard. I have learned so much about so many people who have passed on. There is nothing morbid about remembering those who have gone before us. It’s shows respect to “never forget”. I’m glad you avoided smashing into that backhoe. 😊
I love it too. I always find myself watching the other episodes until the new ones come out. It almost always surprises me to learn when a star from the past passes away and I have no clue about it.... Or how they pass away.

What a nice surprise to end a Sunday. Thanks Arthur.
Also, thanks to all who helped get Lucille La Verne her headstone. I feel honored to be a part of helping to do that.
My wife just said, "we should be getting another Hollywood Graveyard pretty soon." So I checked and there it was, just an hour ago. Thank You.
Best!!!!!
Yes same! I donated to that gofundme too for her headstone! I was just thinking how well done it looks! Glad to see the update on that here! 💖

No matter how famous or how wealthy a person is, it all comes down to this. Six feet of dirt makes us all the same. Great video, Arthur! You are the very best! 😊🪦⚰️⚱️🖤🩶 from Australia 🇦🇺
Also a fan from Australia 🦘
I don't wanna go in the dirt.
Love the Aussies ❤️🙏💯👍👌
@@gokaren420 There are several non-dirt options now. 🙂
Am curious, where is Rod Ansell buried? I was told he was the inspiration for the fictional character Mick "Crocodile" Dundee.
Such respect for Hollywood stars who are no longer with us. Thanks Arthur
Having the lounge jazz in the background just adds all the more. Perfect.
Whenever Arthur posts a new video, my day gets 10000x better! Thanks for the great content!
Arthur Light.
I feel the same way.... excellent production values and research!!
Margaret Booth lived in three centuries. You know what would be great. A program on Famous people and or Hollywood people who lived in three centuries. Thank you
It was a shame you didn’t cover Big Mama Thornton in the very first Inglewood visit. Thank you for going back and paying her the respect she deserves Arthur! 😊
Inglewood is a huge cemetery. Maybe he didn't have time so had had to post a second video. The largest I've been to is Colma, where some of my relatives are buried. Odd but true: my cousin took me to her grandfather's grave. To his left: the person buried there died on the day he was born! I found it unbelievable that two strangers share a date: one is born and the other dies and in death, they both are buried side by side in one of the largest cemeteries in the country. They are not related to each other.
Arthur..I believe I’ve watched you since the very beginning. You sir ,are a treasure. I hope we continue to see many videos years down the road
I loved Juanita Moore in "Immitation of Life". I saw it on TV in my teens.
I cried at the end and my brothers teased me a lot of crying over a movie. It makes me cry every time I watch it.
That movie makes me cry 😢😢😢😢 so much as lost mymom
@@karolinesmail489 *I lost my mom
WOW! My Mom and Dad and Son are in good company. They are buried there.
God Bless You, I miss you 🙏💕🙏
I really appreciate all the research you do for Hollywood graveyard. By showing a picture for each person you’re highlighting at the moment and telling a brief history brings them back to life for a short time. Thank you for all your hard work.
LaWanda Page. The funniest woman ever.😂💜💜
I could listen to him talk all day lol . He always does an excellent job on doing the Graveyard tours. So much work has got to go into each of these tours to know as much as he does about each person he speaks of. Like I said EXCELLENT job once again.
Billy Preston was CLASS artist RIP Billy and thank you for talent and music 🎶🎶🎶🎶😎🤗
"Yah Old Fish-Eyed - Fooool"! Priceless, Ms. Page - Priceless!
If there should ever be an Award for what you do, you should be the first recipient! Thanks for bringing us along!
Although it's never good to hear about a star passing away, I find myself watching these videos just to learn about their past and how they passed away. I have come to love watching these videos and I can't wait to see the newest releases
I'm here again.
Seeing the famous people's graveyard little encouraged me as a live human. They has done with the world, "Hey young generation, we are passed!. It's your turn to do your best on the world!."
What a Terrific Tour that was! A Treasure Trove of Stories of those I’ve never heard of. The Leitzel and Cordona Statue is so Stunning with such Sad Tragic Endings. The Mausoleums are so Breathtaking with the captured Beauty of Stain Glass Windows, including the Beautiful Morning, Noon and Night Fountain trickling over the 3 Nymphs! I don’t think I’ve seen the First Inglewood Video Tour I need to check it out it looks like I’m going to get to enjoy a Double Feature Today! Thanks for taking us along with you Arthur to hear of such interesting People in a Special Serene place as Inglewood Cemetery. 😍
Why this channel its important is because you learn history about the time and the people that were important at the times. More people should watch and learn about these great people.
I'm learning history through this channel. Thanks Arthur for to be here.
Hello
I’ve actually started listening to a lot of the artists who are featured in these videos (mostly music from the 1950s/60s)
I saw Billy Preston when he toured with Ringo and his all Starr band. My two favorite songs of his are Nothing from nothing and Will it go round. Thanks for another great video.
I love when there's a new episode. I learn a lot about celebrities I love and about celebrities I wasn't familiar with. Thank you Arthur for your respect and love of these icons
I can't thank you enough for featuring those who otherwise be lost to time. Featuring their memories and accomplishments gives them one more chance at the spotlight. Always waiting for your next video.
I love Hollywood Graveyard's videos. I always learn something interesting. When you showed Robert Kardashian's grave, it made me wonder what he'd think of his daughters lives now. Plus his grave is so "normal" and I am sure the girls' won't be, when their times come.
Arthur, thank you for highlighting the beauty of these cemeteries, and remembering important people from the past!!
This Is One Of If Not The Best On U Tube. Excellent Work Mr. Dark.
LaWanda Page also appeared as a regular on the Dean Martin "roasts" in the 1970's - she was always a fun and funny guest.
Yay! Another new episode. My family and I enjoy watching & learning about our talented stars. Thank you for sharing you're knowledge with us.
After 3 yrs of following you I finally became a member to thank you arthur for theses amazing videos.. it brings my mother who's 75 and me closer even though we are 3000 miles apart.. seriously thank you for everything you do your awesome bro
Wow -- over 1,400 views within the first twelve minutes! Thanks as always for providing us with these fabulous videos.
Rip.. The Boilermaker.. One of the greatest pugilists in the Heavyweights division. Sleep easy Jeff, fly high... Great video again Arthur.
Always a welcome sight. Hollywood Graveyard is a trip to the stars every time. ❤
I absolutely love these 😅tours of famous talents of days gone by. I find myself hearing and learning about a talented performer and researching them even more so these masterpieces you and your talented colleagues do are also quite educational and inspiring. Another excellent journey in Arthur Dark’s Time Machine Hollywood Graveyard 🪦
This is truly a beautiful cemetery. Thank you for giving us a little history along with bringing respect to those lost but not forgotten.
💐💐💐RIP to everyone that was mentioned in this video you will truly all be missed and my prayers go out to you all and your families. 💐💐💐
I love the way you narrate these videos, something so pleasant and peaceful about it, even though it's about dead people.
Thanks again Arthur. Lives (and deaths) of the not-very-famous. Which is most people, but all had their rôle And all are treated with equal respect. I love this channel.
Got my notification, "Yes!" What a great surprise. Your last featured star, Dock Ellis, played baseball for the Pirates - I saw him many times in my younger days. Thanks Arthur!
Thank you Arthur for your phenomenal research. You have introduced us to so many whom you have not forgotten. 😊
Thank you so much Mr. Dark. Your productions are wonderful, and you highlight actors, actresses and important people from the past who would be otherwise forgotten. It is wonderful to watch your beautiful productions and I so appreciate your channel and your work. Thank you for bringing to light all of those of the past who entertained us, and added such beauty to the world. You’re doing that too with your channel.
Thanks Arthur for another great video. I have a grandma and an aunt and uncle buried there so it's nice to know they have some famous neighbors there. I like that you feature those from the early days of Hollywood as they should be remembered as well. Rest in Peace to all of them.
Very interesting video. I hope whoever stole T-bone's marker is caught eventually. Thank you very much Arthur.
Have a great day.
Hoot Gibson was born and raised just North of Omaha Nebraska in Tekamah Nebraska. They still have a memorial rodeo in his honor.
Sooo many imitations ..but there is only ONE Hollywood Graveyard..thank you Arthur!!
Another WONDERFUL episode. Thank you so much for all the work that goes into these. Appreciate you and your talent! ❤
The notification of the new video popped up, and I hit so quickly it didn’t have time to blink!
Thank you for mentioning Louise Fazenda. I remember seeing her picture numerous times in one of my reference books about Old Hollywood.
Great tributes as usual. I really look forward to your videos. And your relaxing narration! Will you read the eulogy at my funeral? 😂
I've always found cemeteries interesting, Hollywood Graveyard is informative & quite addictive viewing, strangely relaxing,
That was wonderful Arthur. I had no idea that Inglewood was either so big - or so beautiful. Or that you flew over it, in and out of LAX.
Another topnotch upload from Arthur Dark paying tribute to the greats of Hollywood and music who will never be forgotten.
Whoa When Arthur puts up a video, everything else stops love love the contact the man is a genius
'' Tiny '' Helen Kline lived across the street from us in Inglewood California. She did not drive a car but ride her bicycle. I do not know how she got to Disneyland as it is 35 miles from home, and in the early 1960s, there was not the Freeway system that we have today. Thank you for showing Tiny's resting place in Inglewood Park.
Walt probably had transportation arranged for her.
LaWanda Page and I share a birthday so I was very excited to see her included on H.G.
I love these videos. It just goes to show that none of us gets out of this life alive. We all are going to meet our end and it’s interesting to see all those people that have gone before us no matter how famous you are there’s going to come in Rest in peace❤
A welcome surprise on a Monday morning. Good to see you back Mr Dark. I identify with al the comments below.
Big Mama Thornton's grave is my fave. She was amazing.
Another great video. I watch it mainly because you give information on people have never heard of. It’s so sad that relatives think so little of the person that they bury them in unmarked graves 😢
Great video! So much respect for the people lying there and hopefully finding their peace. Am I the only one who noticed that all the people (probably family members?) from "Big Mama Thornton" apparently died in the same year? (1984) That's really sad for those possibly left behind, like relatives, for example. Arthur, much love from Germany to you :)
Your channel is one of the best that profiles celebrities in graveyards.
Good for you Margaret Booth! And so Glad Lucille La Verne has a headstone now! :)
When Arthur posts, I’m usually locked in to watching it immediately. Another one well done, Arthur! Ever thought of doing a famous General or Admiral’s show?
Oh awesome! New vid! My partner is closely related to Cleo Moore. I assumed she was buried back home in Louisiana. Excited to see her included.
18:48 A bit out of the subject of celebrities here, but for anyone whose eyes were in anytime caught by the “gleaming” golden etchings to the left, that is the grave of WWI pilot (2nd Lieutenant) Harold Forbes Maxson. Three months before the war would end, he & a cadet were doing scouting training off the New York Coast when their plane’s engine combusted. Though Maxson managed to steer the flaming aircraft away from the ocean in the attempt to make an emergency landing, the two would unfortunately give the ultimate sacrifice when they crashed into a hayfield. 2LT Maxson was 22. He & his fiancée Mary were slated to marry on what would instead be the day of his funeral.
You definitely and consistently set the standard for other you tubers. Thank you! My Great grandparents are buried here. My Dad says they're easy to find, they're next to a tree in the corner...lol.
Really enjoyed this one, Thanks very much for your great work, it is very relaxing to tour through these beautiful locations. I very much enjoy the information and background of these people. I recognize so many of them through their work, but then again, I am 73 LOL!
I really respect the care in finding and telling the stories of those early stars. Thank you
Always love seeing these when one arrives. The Mausoleums are truly beautiful.
Watching from Ireland very interesting programme may the rest in peace 🙏
You are probably one of my favorite channels on youtube, I've learned so much from you and I love your relaxing voice. Makes me think I'm walking along side you on a tour or something. Love this channel !
I love watching the content of Hollywood Graveyard. In between new videos, I've gone back to the beginning to rewatch them.
When the notification popped up..I acted like a little kid..so excited for another episode!
Always excited to find a new Hollywood Graveyard posted! His has to be in my Top Three of RUclips shows!
It's always such a joy to find one of your videos has been posted. You know I loved your first visits to these spots because they brought back performers I had gotten to know over the years - either at the movies or (usually) when they ran the old films on television. These second visits are introducing me to people I hadn't known before and their wonderful music! I had never paid much attention to R&B music before and right now I can't wait to find some great compilation albums that would allow me to get to know them even better. (If anyone knows of any good ones, let me know!) Thank you so much Arthur - for bringing them all back to us!
I'm always learning of new entertainers that have contributed a lot the the world of entertainment.
You have great respect for the graves and what you do. I enjoy all your videos you put out. 🕊️🙏
Super excited to see another Hollywood Graveyard...whoo hoo lol thank you Arthur ❤
Great to see a new show Arthur, admittedly I hadn't heard of quite a few of these people, but was fascinated to find out about them.
As always, thank you Mr. Dark 🕶️🪦
So much LA history in the Inglewood Cemetary
Your videos are absolutely fantastic! The research and attention to detail you lavish on each video makes them all examples of perfection. Thank you.
Great video. This is a history lesson for sure. I love when these videos drop. Thanks Arthur for your hard work.
THANK YOU for such a great way to end my Sunday night! Love your stuff, Arthur!
I've enjoyed your well produced videos for a while, and I never cease to be impressed by the depth of your research into each person you showcase. I can't imagine how much time you spend. The soundtrack is also fitting and memorable as well. Thank you 👍👏👏🪦
Thanks, Arthur(and ALL at HG!). I always find myself saying, “Wow! I didn’t know that!” several times while watching your videos. Great research, friends!
So well researched and informative. Really pays nice homage to those that are being featured. Always great stuff
Thank you Arthur Dark for another great video. I just came from my brothers funeral and as this is one of our favorite shows, I'm watching in remembrance of him.
Thank You Again ✌
Big Mama Thornton is buried in an indigent grave with those 2 other people. There is a man who is trying to have her buried alone or at least give her her own stone. She died living in a boarding house. She is such an important part of rock and roll history she deserves better.
Interesting. I wondered who the man was whose name is also on her stone--considerably younger than she but died in the same year.
My favorite part aside from all the wonderful history lessons on people is your humor in the last 30 seconds of your video’s cuz you always get us laughing or smiling! 🤭🤭
Many of you young commenters probably don't know that Billy Preston and Syreeta Wright released a great love ballad duet titled "With You I'm Born Again" in '79
if you want to check it out.
Woah another relaxing Sunday in the books! Thank you Sir Dark! 🤍
Hello
Love the Channel And I've seen Every Video Episode ! 👊✊😊
It is Relaxing and Really like the way He Presents Eatch segment 👍👌 And Believe it or not there's Actually people And Celebrity's that i didn't Even know what Happened To Them or that That they Even passed away.
Very Interesting And Informative!! 😊🖖🍁♈🍁
OMG, I have been thinking about Josie & The Pussycats all day today!!!
Oh that statue of lovers embracing!❤❤❤
I agree with you Brandy, I could listen to this young man talk for hours.
Mr. Dark does another great presentation of great details and facts of the past.
I enjoy walking through a graveyard its so peaceful in you can have conversation with the dead I love it
All those buried with Big Mama Thornton died in 1984! That must have been a rough time for the family.
What a surprise to find a new video. It's always not only a day maker but a fabulous trip down memory lane. A glimpse at the star's who helped to make Hollywood what it is today. I have seen them all and thinking about a binge watch for all of them if possible. Again thank you Arthur Dark for a well made video.
