Lots of people do not know Trier in Germany but it si truely a unique travel destination. Lots of things to see and a cool athmosphere :-)
Wow, has Trier grown in FIFTY YEARS when i was there in the military 40 clicks away in Sinspeldt!!., the little baroque cathedral down by the river was one of the most ornate and beautiful!! And lucky me! I got to play the pipe organ there because I helped the tuner out while I was there!! Great memories!
Trier has the best wine in the whole Europe! I just adore German Rieseling! I also love how well preserved the Roman Ruins are in Trier!

I visited Trier a number of times in the late 1970s and early 1980s as a part of an Exchange Programme with Gloucester, it’s twinned city in England. Trier is a beautiful and historic city and I remember it and it’s citizens with great affection. My German then (as now) was not very good. Sensibly I remember memorising the street name that the hotel was in before exploring. Later, somewhat lost as I walked around the city, I was bemused when asking some passers by for directions that they burst out laughing. My hotel, I told them, was in Einbahnstraße! Eventually they did help me find my way back... I can’t wait to go back to rediscover Trier with my wife and hopefully in the not too distant future.
Germany is such a beautiful country, I hope to be able to visit again once all this is over!

Een hele mooie stad, we komen er vaak in de zomer tijdens onze vakantie, en om de paar jaar naar de kerstmarkt welke héél gezellig is! Bovendien geeft de prachtige kerk iets extra's aan het Kerstgevoel.

A good question: originally we made a DVD about Trier. For the DVD we filmed the House of Karl Marx. But for the video that put later to RUclips we skipped (unfortunately) in the editing certain things incluced the House of Karl Marx...
Anyway the interesting House of Karl Marx is worth visiting while visiting Trier in Germany.

They are very different from touristical point of view and it is hard to compare. Both place have lots of tourism assets. In Russian distance are longer, so you need to reserve more time.

I call bullshit on Trier for several factors. Nothing about Trier fits logic except that idea that each original lineage pope (the first time per lineage) needed to disappear into my sole blood, thru daughter-of-Christ, replaced by a third born, therefor a location removed from their Italian public whom they notoriously lie to. FACT: there is no Rome/Italian migration into Germany. One R-Pope in, and one third child son out. Note: no German gene-pool merges into any Trier gene-pool ...and furthermore, no other migrations into Trier to build a gene-pool. My ultimate point is that proof the version of Irene, Monte and Jacob Rothschild's California mother (zero relation to Lauren Nova Scotia), is fake, is that my entire life, her entire genetic-story was of Trier. Most significant fact is that there has never been a migration of Trier into America, Britain, or Irene. There has never been any R1a into Britain. There has never been a migration of Trier 3rd son anywhere except returning to Rome. Trier does not have blue eyes, since daughter-of-Christ would be a daughter of previous Rome near after the time of Jesus. Another crucial point is that issue of fierce-bird genetic. There is no fierce-bird on Irene, thus none of monte. These are facts. The Irene genetics and storyline in all my memory are completely fake and impossible. My memory of Monte prior to waking-up in the hospital is zero Trier or bird showing. Currently, himself and Irene are bird Trier.
