I haven’t enjoyed a walking tour so much in years. I was last in Trier in 1959. It is very beautiful. Not only that, I am disabled now, but I can walk all round Trier without feeling tired!!
I love your video. it is clean, free of text, and giving the detail view. I always like to see the expressions on people's faces when they found your cams.
👍I’m embarrassed to admit that I had never heard of the city before. And, that’s a shame because it is so beautiful and the church as well. Thanks for showing us around and for bringing this to our attention. I’d love to get back to Germany and explore more beyond Bavaria. - Henry
Thank you, Henry! Trier is mostly known in Germany yet I believe not so famous outside. I came from Brussels to Trier by bus an went on to Heidelberg and Strasbourg on that trip in June 2019. The whole area is interesting for tourism as there are many nice places in close proximity ... and many walks were possible...
@@dejanjovanovic1389 yes... the big towns are nothing compared to the small historical towns in Germany. All the big towns got destroyed during WW2 sadly.
Great Upload. Can you tell me, what kind of camera do you use? The quality of the video is really awesome. Waiting for your answer. Can you name your camera?
I'm using a DJI Osmo Pocket and a Zoom H1 microphone for the audio here. Some newer videos use the DJI Pocket 2. The audio is optimized and synced before upload with the video. The info about the gear used for recording is always in the video description
Trier is in the west near the Luxembourg border. In fact you can take a 45' train and check out Luxembourg which I did the eveneing prior to this this walk here: ruclips.net/video/giHQmVbOuYo/видео.html
Great video, beautiful city, but I can't help but wonder who the hell approved the construction of that disgusting Spielbank building across from an ancient Roman city gate? They should be fired for that heresy.
Danke für den Hinweis. Es war mein erster Besuch in Trier. Ich freue mich über Hinweise zu einer besseren Route und Orten, die ich vielleicht übersehen hatte. Danke für's Anschauen
I caught a vibe of Italy or Greece when I first visited Trier. One of the best cities in Germany. Very unique.
Trier really is worth a visit. Also a daytrip to Luxembourg is recommended. ruclips.net/video/giHQmVbOuYo/видео.html

Wonderful, green park around 39:00 . My soul is crying out to travel the world. I feel like I've wasted my 20s, but not really, just a part of me.
Hallo from south Germany, thanks for showing us parts of trier.👍
Trier has buildings from Roman times :)
Indeed I enjoyed visiting this wonderful place
I am in Trier right now. I was surprised to see that Porta Nigra is right outside the hauptbahnhof.

Trier is a special city, it had 80.000 (perhaps 100.000) inhabitants in the 4th century. It was the biggest Roman city north of the Alps at that time
