My grandparents originated from this area in Germany. My parents moved abroad but I was fascinated with Roman history since I was little. I've spent the last 5 months here in Germany with my extended family and Trier is wonderful to see by foot in any season. I'm going to visit Trier tomorrow and this was just what I was looking for. It's very informative, to the point, and with a lot of humor which makes it engaging. Also, appreciated the food suggestions. I have been watching a lot of these travel videos and yours has been one of the best.
It was an educational video, and it gives a good message: as long as we can travel and afford it, we should do it. Being with friends as traveling is killing two birds with one stone.
I didn't realize that there was so much more to do in Trier. It definitely makes me want to go back. Maybe I'll apply for that Sushi chef position too. 😁

More interestingly: how do you manage to go on a flight trip from Trier? I think it takes 2.5-3h with public transportation to go to FFM. Might be longer than the flight itself.

The only thing you misunderstood is the sign at 3:26. It doesnt mean bike free, it means it is allowed to ride bikes there!
