I was there in 1992. It is fantastic. The mosela shoud be the river with more curves in Europe. It starts giving wine in France and finishes in Koblenz where it meets the Rhine. By the way, Koblenz is a beautiful city. I did all the trip around Europe in my car. It is the best way to see Europe. I was camping. There are fabulous camping sites everywhere. To finish, I don't drink wine!!!
I have been to the Moselle Valley and Bernkastel. It is beautiful and worth the drive. The wines are superb. We visited the Wine :Institute and enjoyed an afternoon of tasting and enjoying Germany's best!
My favorite bike tour in the whole world, a leisurely pedal from winegut to winegut, to winegut with a B & B. One of the most beautiful places in the world! And best wines in the world! Our secret, OK?
Dry German Riesling wines from the Moselle Valley are probably the best white wines of the world. At least as far as I know. Alsace Riesling wines are however also as well the German Moselle Wines
My ancestors left this beautiful region, and came to Brazil in the nineteenth century. They were from koblenz, Trier and Luxembourg, I am anxious to get to know personally.
Loved it!....Thinking of our drive/wine tasting tour along the Mosel river from France to Koblenz......so ready for our next visit....Thank you for your inspiration!!!!
Mosel is beautiful! Will be spending 3 weeks there in August/September. My GG grandfather was a wine dresser on the Mosel before he left with his family for America.
The German Mosel Wine are unique and the people are very kind. Thank you for all the wine producers of the Moselle Valley that have helped to realise this video in Germany :-)
The best Mosel wine are even better than the white wines from Alsace (France) P.S. for the beer lovers: there is one excellent brewery in the German Mosel: it is called Brauhaus Kloster Machern and it is located in Bernkastel-Kues (some 4 km from the center)
I am not a wine nationalist, I love Moselwein, but also red wine from France. Red wines from the regions of Minervois and Corbieres-Boutenac are my favorites. Greetings back from Germany, cheers!
Just opened a Ruppertsberger imperial Riesling 2015 and wondered where it came from, then i came to this documentary via RUclips. Keep up the good work!
Dear BB King. You have an interesting question. I'm afraid I cannot ask to it (I hope a Mosel wine producer could answer to it). The soil in Mosel is very special and with that kind of slate soil planting vines might not be a too big challenge (but difficult to say). Steep slopes of course create all kind of challenge: one is that working in these slops is very hard and labor intensive. But in same time you can produce there one of Europe best white wines, thanks partly to sun in the slopes :-)
These images have been taking during a period of 18 months so it was a long project. But German Moselle Valley is so beautiful region that is was a great pleasure to make this production, which is also sold as 30 min souvenir DVD German Mosel. For more information but joulupukkitv . fi
I love this video. Whenever I have a bottle of German wine, I watch it together. I live in Brazil. Cheers.

Are the vineyards family owned or corporate? How can we find a job in this business? It seems like a good place to live in.
