I was blessed to hear Michael Hedges perform live in a small town High School Auditorium; an evening with Windham Hill. I had never heard such sounds coming forth from an acoustic guitar. Truly Revolutionizing. This Cat Mr. Mike, is on a similar Road Less Traveled. Michael hears you, Brother. Bravo.

Saw MH at a little outdoor theater in Saratoga shortly before he died ... never saw someone replace a broken string in less than a minute while continuing the song with his left hand! Unbelievable.
I also saw Micheal Hedges many years ago. One of those magical moments. If Mike Dawes ever comes to my town, my wife and I will be up close to the stage.
I love this!!!! I too saw Michael Hedges back in the early 90s at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, PA. If Mike comes this way, will definitely see him....AMAZING!

I've been listening to Mike for years now and yes there are others that have amazing talent on a guitar but I swear, every time Mike plays, that guitar crys. Incredibly talented and in my opinion, the absolute best. Hats off to you, sir. Well done!

This performance has somehow managed to recapture and ignite the joy and beauty of hearing the track again for the first ever time. I got hit with nostalgia all over . This is truly a landmark in modern guitar and music. Absolutely, simply breath taking.

WHAT an arrangement!!!!!!!!! Amazing. So nostalgic and glimmering with beauty and subtle details.. that long reverb is absolutely lush. Best cover of Everlong I have ever heard.
Every time Mike puts out a video I'm like "Yep! That's it! Mankind has achieved all we can with this instrument". Then Mike puts out another video and the ceiling goes even higher.

I first listened to Chase’s version of Landslide by Fleetwood Mac a few minutes ago when it was randomly suggested to me. That was powerful. Then I heard this and now I’m subscribed. This world is so full of talent sometimes I forget that. I’m a longtime guitarist of 36 plus years now at age 50. Anymore I have basically 3 speeds: Progressive technical metal, bluegrass, and anything in between that hits me in the feels. This hits me in the feels. Excellent work Chase, I look forward to checking out all your stuff brother.
