@pedrohurtado1217 I cant remember exactly but I'm pretty sure I just searched headers for an 86 d150 and some off brand company had them pretty cheap. I think they were actually for an la 360 but they worked fine for the magnum. If I can find where I actually got them I'll definitly let ya know but I'm not sure honestly lol
Stock magnum head flows around 217 cfm i believe , check out charles servedio he'll show ya how to port these heads to flow 270+. Ive also got the 20-746-9 cam in my magnum and it chops pretty good with only a 114 lsa. What converter ya runnin ?
@nickstephens2913 Thanks fpr the info! I'll definitly look into Charles servedio. It's running an advertised 3000 stall converter rn but honestly it would probably be better with a lower stall although it really only flashes at around 2600-2800
Its looking good , really coming along.. is this a new cam you have in this engine from hughes or is it the same came from hughes you have had it in ? Love the chop plus some extra horsepower be nice.. do you have the cam specs of the cam your running in it now ?
@DarrensTruckzs This is the same cam it has had in it, these are just some old videos before i started the efi conversion process. This cam is a 214-218 split duration cam with .532 int. And .539 exh lift and a 109lsa the part number for this cam is in the description of the video. You can find it at hughes engines website.
Just reverse the carb to use the cable, unless the fuel lines are short and supposed to be on the right side. Also unless that carb for some reason isn't symmetrical to be reversed. Oh well just my 2 cents maybe..
@DarklordEntertainment it's a throttlebody and the cable has to have the right mounting tab to fit the bracket on the side of the throttlebody so the cable can work right also the throttlebody can only go on one way lol. Appreciate the input though!
@@RedlineMopar Sorry there but thinking you had the Edelbrock intake and carb and just didn't remember them having a notch in them for correctness. I did forget to include that I meant it was a short term solution, though it seems there is no way with a notch and that cable.. Did think that truck sounds like a beast though with that cam. My only wish is to cam out something odd and make it do those almost seconds it feels and sounds like the engine isn't even running when idle kind of builds...Maybe one of these days eh...Wish you well on the rest of the upgrades.
Stock magnum cams have 116 lsa. Currently having one reground as close to 260/268 purple shaft specs as they can get.
@magiclydelicious1 heck yea man, let us know how it turns out👍 anything is better than stock grind lol
I’ve been looking for some long tubes for my 5.9 magnum. Where you get yours ?
