The new way to Credit Farm in Pokemon TCG Live!

- If you want to turn your Crystals into the highest number of Credits in Pokemon TCG Live, there's only one thing you should be buying and it's NOT the Shadow Rider VMAX League Battle Deck or Celebrations packs.
This method should work for the rest of 2024 and (at least) all of 2025, unless they change the price.

@ConnorGarrett I think the devs will still find out weather anyone snitches or not. The creator of the PTCGL subreddit OU7C4ST said some people got banned who abused the previous infinite credits glitch and although there's no way to verify his statement, it's something you'll have to do at your own risk. Better to be safe than sorry and the new Charizard ex league battle deck made it super easy to farm credits anyway, unless they change the price of course.

@ClOwOl on this deck, yes, if you already have this deck and 4 copies of all the cards in said deck ( minus ace specs cause you can only have one copy) All duplicates will be automatically converted to credits.

Even though its edge vs the other crystal spendings is slim, me and friends still have the set (almost) completed and is a valid way of spending crystals, so I appreciate including the Celebrations calculations in these videos!
so even if you have the full celeb set, starting on this Charizard ex marathon is better in the long run?
@ponkadots7764 Absolutely, considering you get 2690 per 600 gems which means you can get 5380 credits per 1200 gems which gives just slightly more than celebration, I think almost every time, and the benefits are super worth it even if you don't have all of the cards in the league battle deck.

People are way overly critical of the changes. They're trying to make the game more approachable and get more people on the ladder. The fact that people ask whether they should buy the premium battlepass every week suggests that many people weren't even taking advantage of the premium tier anyway. It makes sense to transition fully to gems, simplify the battlepass, and simplify the ladder. I'm looking forward to new changes coming.
tbh i was just hoping there would be an easier way to get crystals, cuz when you bought the battle pass you could get a bunch of crystals
For me at least it worked, moved from MTG due to the ridiculous costs.
I am finding the amount of cards I get as a beginner rather generous compared to MTG arena. Also, the power level of the free Charizard EX makes me feel compelled to play and farm for the last pieces I need to make it even better.
Overall it has been a very positive experience for me.

Gold cards (2,000 cr) cost about $1.50 - $2.50 via code cards. Celebrations has gotten pricey, GO can be rewarding, 151 has become my new favorite for credits.

Ngl i just finished 2 and a half decks by just buying the zard battle deck 3 times with the crystals i got from ranked + the battle pass + dailies + some lucky lv up is really nice

It's also a good point that every month, depending on how much you grind the ladder, you get extra credits. Plus, grinding the ladder should be easier now that you don't lose points.

Nah, I think if you do that one simple trick, the Pokemon Company will actually love you.
I like to imagine that the PTCGL developer made it 600 crystals intentionally because of how much GameFreak and TPCi obssess over Charizard.
I mean think about it. Someone likely entered a board meeting and was just like "You know how Charizardex is the best deck in the format? What if it was also the best way for players to get credits?". And I can definitely imagine the PTCGL developer or whoever made that proposal got a gigantic raise (and a Charizard body pillow).
That being said, whether it was intentional or not, I REALLY hope they don't revert this. Not just because... well obviously, but also because it's another example of Charizard being basically Pokemon's golden child. It's actually kind of a meme just how much favoritism Charizard has gotten over the years and this is yet another of piece of proof of that.
Honestly I feel like zard is the community's golden child and Pikachu is the company's golden child. I mean the most expensive card and rarest card is a pika card. And Pikachu is also the most promo'd card aswell as most printed pokemon. Charizard I think is runner up each field but pika got him beat by a mile.
I've never bought more than the 600 credit Miradon deck for 600 credits, nets me 1100, if I bought any deck that's 1250, ans it doesn't make me more than 2200. No point imo

Is there an official source listing the price for the charizard deck as the same as other league battle decks?
It's likely the Devs messed up, but they are about to change how crystals and coins work. It's possible they're adjusting the price of things like league battle decks as a part of this

This game reaaally needs a marketplace and trading system. Farming crystals to buy everything feels... Boring? Trading like ptcg online what makes this kind of games fun i think. And farming is not.
As of right now on ranked in master league you loose points (-3 to-10)
I made an account like 5 days ago and idk if I should still spend my first crystals on some packs that could give me entire new decks instead of money to build one over a longer timespan but I'm not sure
Did you watch the video? You should buy Charizard ex league battle decks, they'll allow you to build decks faster than any packs.
Best way to build deck in this game is to craft them with credit. Buy packs to farm credits

Oh come on. You should have posted this 3 days ago. No. In fact, you should have posted this 2 weeks ago(Edit: Lol it came out like 3 days ago. My bad😅. Still could've gotten two purchases in.). I would have been able to buy it 4 times by now. Instead I bought Miraidon 2 times. I'm new btw. I watched the video you posted 7 months ago. There were literally no fresher video on credit farming in this community. I feel like Pilot is the only one who realizes or cares that this game gets new players.
