You think I would sit down and enjoy the whole 2hours pokemon go documentary from trainertips? Hell yeah you’re absolutely right, this will be the spotlight hour of my day
50:36 For those wondering about the "almost everyone (sorry james)" story, I'm James, from New Brunswick, Canada. My flight from Minneapolis to Tokyo was cancelled, so I was a day late arriving.
Man. I don't know how you do it. Aside from the travel/Pokémon Go combo, your personality and everything else that makes this video great, the editing makes it all come together so fluently. Not a second in this video was wasted time and it was a joy to watch all the way through. Thanks Nick!
Omg it has been years since I have been this hyped for ANY RUclips content. This will be an insanely good watch Edit: Man, this was just amazing. Thank you for all the effort you put into this video and all of your content in the past couple of years ❤
Thanks Nick for a 2 hours long movie. Just a note from 45:23 , I used Train against the team leaders for battle hearts for my buddies. It helps so much when you always forget to put your buddy in raid, Team Go Rocket or battling gym.
It was an absolute honour and a spectacular journey to experience this with my new family, thanks to trovatrip, nick , steven and last but absolutely not least yuki🎉 This trip i will treasure forever im hoping to do another soon (hilton from sydney aus) ❤
This is why I am Subed to you. The Adventure. More then just the game. If I want just data and news I got to Jinsula if I want the joy of the journey not the destination, I watch you Nick.
Fell asleep around 7:00 p.m. last night just to end up waking up around 3:00 a.m. this morning (had a long day of driving my mom back and forth to her divorce hearing and I got work in about 5 hours) so this video really helps me to burn some time. Thank you so much for such amazing content and you really inspired me to play Pokémon GO harder! Been watching your videos since day one and I truly appreciate all your hard work and I’m really proud to see how much you’ve achieved! ♥️💯
You got me back to playing Pokemon Go again after watching your videos last September, start from zero. Now at lvl 24 with a Lugia caught just yesterday. More power, Nick!
I'm glad I don't have to wait anymore for this amazing content. I enjoy the special research videos a lot so I am very happy to see you on my recommended with this one.
Clicked this on & had it running in the background while I was working from home. Nick, the soundcape & interlude tunes used are so chilled! Was a pleasure to have it rolling & will definitely be watching the full vid once I finish up work for the week!
As both a community ambassador, and an avid Commander player, this video has been one of my absolute favorites you’ve ever made Nick. Hoping I can chat about MtG with you at one of the In-person events this year!
I must say nobody does better PoGo content than Nick, because he's probably one of the few that is able to perfectly combine the game with real life! Just hope some day I can get in one of these Trainer Trips! Keep up with the amazing work!
My god Nick, 30 seconds in and your intro sounds like the best kind of intro from when I was growing up watching those 80's series like the A-team and the premise they always start out with, love it already!!
everything about this video was top tier, and the fact you can bring everyone together like you did was an amazing side of humanity, it was great to see everyone enjoy the trip. thanks for being you and keep up the amazing videos!
Nick having issues with the Kecleon step as well really shows me that Niantic really needs to adjust the spawn rate of that Pokemon. I was on 5 of 10 for nearly an entire year, went back up to NY to visit family and friends and got one in the airport near me, one when I landed and got to my friend's place, and then one a month later at a park near my home. The fact that I saw none when I was in NYC for an entire day is crazy to me. Never mind on the entire trip or the airports on the way back. Also this is a fantastic video. Such an amazing adventure. I'd love to do one of these trips sometime, looks like it is a ton of fun!
Nicks long form content is honestly some of my favourite on the internet, i feel like it was 20 minutes not 2 hours because i was just enjoying what was happening, hopefully we see more in the future
This is genuinely one of the best videos I’ve ever watched. Absolutely love the editing, all the transitions, music, and the shots were amazing (shoutout to Steven!). I Sat down and watched the entire video in one sitting from start to finish. I would love to go on one of these group trips in the near future. Thank you Nick and Steven, hope to meet you one day, love the content!
Lol i do the same thing unconsciously, i have some key quests from 2019 yet to be completed. Great video, as always. I'm a old school follower, since the first days, I listen to the trainer tips spotify playslist every 2 days. Makes me want to catch em all!
These videos are masterpieces, Nick. You really have so many gifts and talents and we’re thankful you share them with us. (And thank you to Steven for filming!)
Watching the whole thing, and that is the stuff I do for my day job. Nice to see Nick exploring more of Japan and all of his guests enjoying for the first time.
Bravo!! Started watching this at 11:30 pm last night before I realized it was 2 hours long. So I had to make it a 2 day watch. I don't even play that much PoGo anymore, though I do still try to get on when I am out and about. But the reason I've stayed as a constant viewer since 2016 is because of how great of a content creator you are. By far the channel I've stuck with the longest in my 16ish years of being on RUclips. This is so much more than just a Pokemon Go channel. Never change, Nick!
You’re gone from posting videos and you comeback with 2 hours video? OFC I’M GOING TO WATCH IT ATTENTIVELY! I loved every minute of it. What an amazing human being ❤
1:26:39 😂🤣 Totally different: Oh my gosh, the monkeys are so adorable! 1:42:42 Lol, I felt his expression! Love it! I'm so glad you included that. Thank you so much for sharing this trip with us on RUclips! Loved seeing it! 💛💛
I went to Tokyo for only 4 days earlier this year and had a hotel in Akihabara. I loved watching this video because I saw so many familiar places. But then... the first night I went out to look for a place to have dinner I wandered into a small ramen restaurant. And it happened to be the exact same place as at 30:17. I checked the photos i took in there and I'm totally sure. The odds of that are so crazy! Thanks for taking me back to my own trip :)
your videos are always so calming to watch... a feature film length pokemon go vlog was the best possible reward for me after a long day! seeing your travels makes me look forward to my own japan trip (in a month!) even more :')
7:08 so that's why the kanto pokemon aren't leaving the wild spawns, Nick hadn't finished his rediscover Kanto research, i hope with this video that means they're gone for next season
Me: Ahh, I wish I had time to watch this now! Me, 2 hours later: The time flew by! Such a beautifully shot video, impeccable vibes, a magical adventure.
Pretty sure keckleon can only be seen if you're within range of the stop it's on, or closer. I faintly remember whe it was released that you could see it anywhere and they patched it out
This was a long one and it took me several days (lunch breaks) to watch it all but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The group looks like they had a lot of fun. What a great experience!
Thank you so much for recording, editing and uploading this content! I absolutely love this content and wish for you to continue sharing your Pokemon Go experience and Japan tours
Kecleon has been the bane of my existence since that research came out. Jirachi is my favorite Pokemon, and legitimate shinies are almost impossible to get. Also, the research came out in February, which is my birth month. It felt like a gift for me personally. I didn't make it to the Kecleon step of the research during the Hoenn Go Tour that year, so I wasn't able to capitalize on its increased spawn rate. I struggled hard trying to find them, still am to this day. I went with a buddy up to this city for the bird field research event, y'know, because the whole idea of doing a field research event is to go around and spin as many unique stops as you can; might be a good chance to find some Kecleon. Except the spawn was disabled for the event. I went out for the entirety of the most recent Go Fest. I found one Kecleon, as I was leaving on the last day. As I said, to this day, I'm still trying to find them. So far, I'm at 3/10. How people without the in-person event ticket (with the lowered requirements on tasks) ever got it done is beyond me.
Always love the vibes of the long travel videos. Get to see progress being made, see interesting places, even the shop footage is always cool. Thanks for making these happen!
Gotta say it’s been a long time since I’ve been this hype for a RUclips video. Nick, I have not watched Pokemon Go content in forever and I can’t wait to watch this. Hope you’ve been well Nick
WOW what a video! This was amazing from start to finish. Glad everyone had such a good time. Congrats on (basically lol) finishing all the research. おめでとう!
LOL I was looking at this video yesterday and was like a 15 minute video I can sneak that in. Stuff came up, I couldn't. Today had the same idea, to then notice it almost 2 hours and I can't watch that now either due to work starting soon. But will definitely enjoy watching this over the weekend! Edit: Cool adventure across Japan! Really enjoyed watching it. Congrats too! Well done!
At first I thought I'd just watch half of this video while I drank coffee and had breakfast then I'd pick it back up later. Instead I just watched it all in one sitting. 😊
another masterpiece, you should really consider a second channel for travels and vlogs, you have this amazing energy that charms anyone, want a proof? my friend knows nothing about Pokémon yet along Pokémon go and he sat the whole 2 hours watching with me
Try sea bands! They’re bands that you strap quite tightly to your wrists and put pressure on a certain part😅 they work amazingly and stopped my car sickness instantly!
You think I would sit down and enjoy the whole 2hours pokemon go documentary from trainertips?
Hell yeah you’re absolutely right, this will be the spotlight hour of my day
“Spotlight hour of my day” is insane …
Spotlight hours bro 😆
im on the same boat. lets go

Thanks Nick for a 2 hours long movie. Just a note from 45:23 , I used Train against the team leaders for battle hearts for my buddies. It helps so much when you always forget to put your buddy in raid, Team Go Rocket or battling gym.
There even is a medal wich you can now only get by doing these battles.

bro u good?
bro wanted a peak of the pogo map
I barely watched a total of 2 hours of RUclips in last 2 months but I did it today in one sit. You’re amazing Nick and so does your content.
