- A man says his credit card was stolen Monday and used to make nearly $7,000 worth of purchases across Portland after he left the card at a gas station pump.

This is why I write "SEE ID" on the back of every card, and make it a point to hold it up for the cashier even if they don't ask....to remind them they damn well should be reading it
Use a Sharpie and write it on the front, but chances are they still will not ask 🤦♂️
A red flag being thrown is using a credit card to buy a $5700 bike and the business doesn’t verity identification. Or would asking for ID be racist?
After the retired police officer pleads for the thief to return the card and the items, well, that has about as much chance as peace 🕊️ in the Middle East.

You should contact your financial institution immediately if this happens to you, and they will freeze your funds temporarily or cancel your lost/stolen credit/debit card.
I hope he gets them disputed. Otherwise he’ll be stuck with a hefty bill
