Never thought I would say this, but me! As a kid I missed out on ever playing with my grandparents, so I love to see those warm family interactions even just for a brief second.
I really like the soundtrack. It is so soothing. I did some cleanup myself today. The kids will have such a great time with the sand boxes. Russel's face and expression were priceless!
Oh my goodness, Benjamin’s little thumbs up 👍🏻 when you said “Let’s do this!” He’s been such a joy to watch grow up. A special soul. Question: Laura, did you create the stage Christmas background for church this year?
Benjamin and Samantha Grace are so cute and responsive. The small plastic pools are perfect for sandboxes for them and they will enjoy those for a long time. So sweet to see Grandma playing with them.
Isn't it wonderful you have an indoor space to create another play area for the kiddos. Outstanding that both Benjamin & Samantha can enjoy their new sandboxes. Good on you!
Seeing the kids come running out made me smile, but Samantha's ta-da and Benjamin's " it needs more details just took the cake !! ❤❤😂A great video at the time of year when family is extra special. 😊❤
This was such a relaxing video. The music is so peaceful. I just had a revision on a foot surgery yesterday morning so in a bit of pain and I can't take pain medication, makes me sick. This just made me so calm and I nearly forgot about the pain. So what I needed this morning so I am very thankful. 🙏
I loved watching Benjamin lead Samantha Grace out to show her the sandbox. He's such a sweet big brother!!! Then, when your mom came in. That was so precious. I always enjoy watching
Samantha:: "TA-DA"......Oh my, what loving hearts your family has. Seeing Susan playing with Benjamin as well.......such sweet memories for your family.
This video brings joy on so many levels with the clean up, the kid’s excitement for the sandbox, Samantha’s giggle when kitty gets next to her, the “TaDa” and grandma playing in the sandbox too. My heart is full
I absolutely love that the kids have a young and vibrant Grandma to play in the sand with them, and Samantha's love for her kitties is beautiful!! And thanks for the dinner idea - I made the same soup, and it was fabulous!!
Benjamin is so direct he knows what he wants he knows what he's doing that is really a delight for a child to have that he's going to do real well in life 🐸🐸🐸
Samantha and Benjamin are really lucky children. Two fabulous parents, and grandparents close by, aunts, uncles and cousins. It’s how I grew up (in the same area where they are). It’s getting more rare in modern times to have that level of contact with extended family. We can’t turn back the clock, but it is something to think about to try and hold onto as much as possible.
Aaron even holds the door open for his Laura while going into the greenhouse! What a gentleman! One perfect little 'room' as far as winter interest is the entrance to/from the raised beds - elderberry bush branches steels the show, the bench, supports, arches, and large pot all provide wonderful structure with the arbs behind. As Laura would say - perfection!
Laura, here's a suggestion for covering the sandboxes to keep the cats out. We did this for our grandkids on our patio. I purchased 2 kiddy pools one slightly larger than the other (when they were on clearance) to use as a lid. I checked that out at the store before buying them. We turned the large one upside-down as a cover for the smaller pool. It was light enough for even the littlest grandchild to remove and recover the sandbox when they were finished playing. It only took once for a cat to use it as a litter box, after that, they always covered the sandbox when they were finished playing. 🤣😂🤣
Douglas always pops his head in... darting around obv at hyper-speed video...lol.. Such a sweetheart!!.. xx The scene is set when you get kiddies, kitties and music while you tidy and gain ground even in December.. :) .. I just allow my mess to mulch down over winter but I can see the difference when its cleaned up.. so good looking and calming.. I understand from what you say that the cleanup gets rid of undesirable bugs.. whoop
Why don't you create a tree house and maybe a sandbox for the kids in the wooded pond area? That would look neat and blend with the theme. They would love it! ❤
The hours of imaginative play your children will get out of these sandboxes will be the stuff of memories for them. Samantha has learned well how to treat the kitties and Russell rewarded her with a sweet head bump on her sleeve. His look at 15:37 says it all though: "Where is my sand box, Mom?" ~ Lisa
Benjamin is such a darling boy and wonderful big brother! So sweet to see him show Samantha the surprise and her adorable “tada” for Grandma! I see a few “beach” parties in your future this winter. 😊😎💕 I LOVE that you are doing fall cleanup!!! I’m a bit tired of so many people insisting that we should leave everything till spring. It’s so much nicer to have cleaner beds after a winter of snow than to have a mushy mucky mess to deal with.
I did too!! What a sweet family and what a wonderful grandma!! 😂 I’m a new grandma and I absolutely can’t get enough of that simple innocent joy! Thank you so much for sharing!!
I love seeing the kids ❤. Every time I see Benjamin and Samatha they are so sweet towards one another. It just warms my heart and reminds me how much I miss those years with our children. They are grown before you know it. 😞
The excitement little ones show when they are please warms my heart to the core. Enjoy each and every minute they are this age, it disappears far to fast. Better playing in the sandbox than playing on a tablet. 💗💙
Good morning Laura and family! The kids will have a great time coming out to the greenhouse on a cold day and playing in the sand. I love to see children using their imagination. Good job Laura and Aaron! Hugs from N.C..❤
Love these videos full of love and awesomeness thx Laura aaaa and Russel is just so sweet trying to be part of the activities ( he just loves Samantha), and Benjamin just love spending time with his mom..
Laura and Aaron, Thank You both for allowing us the joy of following you and your family. I believe the reason you are so successful is not just gardening but your goodness is so enjoyable and comforting to watch. Goodness with each other, your children and your family! It's gardening that I tune in for, but I come away with SO MUCH MORE! Inspiring and Motivating in every way. If only the world had millions of YOU on You Tube we'd be better humans! God Bless you this Christmas and always! Hugs from SC!
The sandboxes are great for the kids. I love how Benjamin took Samantha Grace out to see the sandboxes and then when Grandma got there Samantha Grace says Ta Da!
Good morning everyone! 😊I had to laugh when I saw the snap shot of kids playing in their own sandboxes! Now how did😅 we see that coming? Now I hope they kitty proof them. Okay now I must watch the video! Have a blessed day everyone! Wasn't that "ta da!" for Susan adorable?!
Loved the sweet overlay music while Laura was cleaning, very relaxing and lovely. The 80's-ish electric music isn't it. 😂 And I'm an 80's girl! 😂 Seeing the kiddos is so sweet, amazing memories are being made for them. God bless you all and keep you safe.
Sooo awesome for the kids. You 2 are amazing parents and loved seeing Grandma come play. I learn so much from you Laura. Thank you for teaching me something, literally almost every video you make. Be blessed amazing family.
Loved Samantha's reaction, "ta-da" and seeing your Mom with Benjamin. Everyone I see you do clean up in your garden, I gain knowledge. Thank you Laura!
So sweet, loved the kid's reaction. Cute babies. Cute kitties. Loved Russell's reaction. The look on his face when he was removed from the sandbox. Like " are you kidding me?" Glad you just decided to cover them and the cats still have their warm spot. Peaceful and motivating watching the clean up.
And when it warms up, give the kids a bucket of water with the sand and they'll enjoy it for hours! Our sandbox toys all came from thrift stores, nonrusting metal cups, dishes and utensils!
I’d love to see you add a simple green wreath with a red bow ( maybe pine cones) to your beautiful white barn just above the door❤… You take such loving, fun care of your cuties with the sand boxes.
Such happy memories that you’re creating for your children. They are going to look back at their childhood and have such a positive impact on the rest of their lives .. Wonderful ❤🌲🌲❤
Looking at Benjamin grow up on your channel. Does he like to revisit your older videos to see when he was younger. Glad the kids love their sand pools. A warm place to stretch their legs during the Winter. This video reminds me I have some garden clean ups to complete this weekend too.
Laura, It's just so nice to watch you "clean up" and cut back your garden spaces because it helps me feel comfortable doing the same! Love the sandboxes!
It was 68 degrees here is Missouri yesterday. I am loving what I am able to get done this fall. I won't have anything to do in the spring but plant! Love Samantha's reaction to the sand box...so sweet.
Good morning Laura and family Seen you doing some clean up makes me want to do the same. The kids are going to have fun playing in the sand. Thanks for sharing, have a wonderful rest of the day and weekend. 🙂👋
I did the same thing for my granddaughter, pool with sand, added cinnamon to keep bugs out,and used a second pool to cover it and put clamps around it to hold closed.
Hi Laura and Aaron! The kids will have so much fun in their sandboxes, and so will Susan! ;-) The cleanup was good, too. Thank you so much for sharing!
Sandboxes are so much fun! Very therapeutic and fun for grandmas too ❤️ As a grandma myself, we had a sandbox for our grands to play in when they came for a visit. They loved it. One time when our oldest grand and I were playing in the sand, a black widow emerged from under the sand 😮. We always kept it covered too. Not saying this will happen with yours but maybe something to be aware of.
We put in an 8x8 sandbox this year in our yard, the kids are loving it. Built a lid frame and just using a tarp stapled to the frame this year to keep the neighborhood cats out :)
I used my grandsons Thomas the tank engine table and purchased big bags of dried beans, set it up in his playroom in the winter and he had a ball using all his construction trucks. He played in that all the time. Great entertainer for gloomy and wet days outside.
Oh, the kids are so sweet! Reminds me of my 21 and 25 year old kids when they were that age! Savor these little moments! They grow up so quickly! What lucky children! You guys are great parents!
Sand boxes, definite winners. Grandmother visiting, awesome. They will enjoy those sand boxes so much and they will be out of the house and in some sunlight this winter. The garden cleanup is so satisfying. It always makes an area look buttoned up and ready for spring to come back. Have a blessed day!
Good Morning! 🎅 It's unreal that you can still do clean up in December! Those little sand boxes are cute. They will get a lot of milage this winter! Love Samantha's reaction to her sandbox & Benjamin doing Ta Da to set the scene!!!! 🥰😲🏖✂️🌿
Who else wanted to watch grandma play with the kids?? Gives my heart joy to see a healthy relationship between kids, parents, & grandparents.
Me ❤❤❤
Me!
Never thought I would say this, but me! As a kid I missed out on ever playing with my grandparents, so I love to see those warm family interactions even just for a brief second.

Me ❤😊
I love how Benjamin was excited to show Samantha Grace. So sweet how SG showed Grandma, “TaDa!” Love the giggles too! How sweet! 🎀 🛻
I actually laughed out loud when SG said "TaDa" to Grandma Susan.
Benjamin and Samantha Grace are a delight!
How lucky are these kids to have such wonderful parents? ❤
And grandparents!
It's wonderful!! So wholesome!
They can adopt me anytime!!
❤ so true
Not "lucky," BLESSED❣️
You're such a fun mom, your kids are going to have so many amazing memories growing up ❤
I'm a grandma like that, too. Just get in there and play with the kids.
Playing with the grands is pure joy! 😊
There’s just something relaxing and satisfying about watching garden cleanup.
Watching… is my key word. Lol😂
I really like the soundtrack. It is so soothing. I did some cleanup myself today. The kids will have such a great time with the sand boxes. Russel's face and expression were priceless!
Yes, what is this music?
8:56 this kind of music is why i used to watch garden answer in the mornings
I know! That soundtrack is beautiful! I used the Shazam app and found out it is “Remove the Complexities” by Peter Sandberg
Oh my goodness, Benjamin’s little thumbs up 👍🏻 when you said “Let’s do this!” He’s been such a joy to watch grow up. A special soul. Question: Laura, did you create the stage Christmas background for church this year?

"Ta Da"!! Your children's excitement never gets old. Love, love your channel.
The kids playing in their sandbox is magical. Russell is like this is a perfect place for a nap 😂😂
I am afraid the cats are going to think it is the perfect place for something else… glad they are covering them😅.
Russel says thanks for the new fancy litter pans!
This was a wonderful video! I loved seeing Susan at the end with the babies! Such a beautiful sight!!
It's always the simple things in life that bring the most joy.
Seeing the kids come running out made me smile, but Samantha's ta-da and Benjamin's " it needs more details just took the cake !! ❤❤😂A great video at the time of year when family is extra special. 😊❤

Such a great idea for the tiny pools to be used as sandboxes for the kids! So happy to see Benjamin and Samantha enjoying their new play spots!
💙💕
How sweet Benjamin was showing Samantha the sandboxes. I think Grandma enjoyed it too🤣
I absolutely love that the kids have a young and vibrant Grandma to play in the sand with them, and Samantha's love for her kitties is beautiful!!
And thanks for the dinner idea - I made the same soup, and it was fabulous!!

How lucky are you to be able to go out and work in the gardens at this time of year! You have the sweetest children! Tadah!
Russell and his big digging mitts ready to go!! ❤❤😂😂😂❤❤

What fun for the kids! They are going to remember these times. What could make the surprise better? Nana playing with them!❤❤❤
The background music during the cleanup is absolutely beautiful and set such a wonderfully magical feeling. ❤️🥰
Why don't you create a tree house and maybe a sandbox for the kids in the wooded pond area? That would look neat and blend with the theme. They would love it! ❤
Oh my goodness that’s a great idea! It’s so much better than a swing set/play ground.
A tree house would mean a BIGGER tree Aaron!
When I saw these in storage as you were walking by I was thinking that's a great idea to store your pond plants.
What a fun spot for the kids to play while you work close by. Samantha and Benjamin are just so cute and excited to show off their sandboxes 😊

The excitement little ones show when they are please warms my heart to the core. Enjoy each and every minute they are this age, it disappears far to fast. Better playing in the sandbox than playing on a tablet. 💗💙
❤ Hey, Laura, you can use a fitted sheet over the sand boxes as protection from the cats. Thanks for sharing your family adventures.
Awesome idea
I loved the way your mom just came in & started playing w the kids. Reminds me of my mom & my kids. She would spend hrs playing restaurant.
Imagin the kids having videos like this to look back at when they’re grown, spending time with mum and dad. Nostalgic.
So adorable watching the kids with the sand pools!! They are just the sweetest things!! 😊
Love the reactions of your kids to their new sand pool😊
Good morning Laura and family! The kids will have a great time coming out to the greenhouse on a cold day and playing in the sand. I love to see children using their imagination. Good job Laura and Aaron! Hugs from N.C..❤

Samantha is so cuteeeee….little Aaron, and Benjamin is little Laura😊…. Your family is a blessing….
New Gardner in Ohio: Love seeing Benjamin enjoying his sandbox and helping. You are so blessed to be in your garden in Dec.
I used these round pool sandboxes also for my grandkids. To still keep animals out i got some inexpensive round elasticized round vinyl tablecloths.

Love the Peter Sandberg music playing in the background during Laura’s garden cleanup
What a fun treat for the kids. I loved playing in the sand when I was little. Russell sure wanted in on the action!
Great idea for Samantha and Benjamin! You really are a “kid at heart” Laura❣️☺️
It has been unseasonably warm in Wisconsin, too, and I couldn't be happier about it. Just beautiful.
Such a warm and cohesive family. Blessed 🙌 ❤
When I was a little girl my favourite toy was a sandbox my Grampa made for me between the fence and his garage. Their imaginations can go wild! 🥰
I’d love to see you add a simple green wreath with a red bow ( maybe pine cones) to your beautiful white barn just above the door❤… You take such loving, fun care of your cuties with the sand boxes.
So love seeing you getting the kids involved in gardening maintenance. Teaching them while young helps them gain knowledge and understand hard work.
Such happy memories that you’re creating for your children. They are going to look back at their childhood and have such a positive impact on the rest of their lives .. Wonderful ❤🌲🌲❤
What a great idea for the sand box the kids are having so much fun loved it when Samatha showed Grandma and said tada! Clean up is looking good.
Love seeing Samantha Grace playing and Benjamin play with the sand they were having fun👍😊💜👧👦🙏🎅🎄🎄
So awesome to see such wholesome, family activities. Great video. ❤️

PERFECT MUSIC to accompany the pruning and cleanup!!👏👏👏💚🎶
Grass and now sand boxes in the greenhouse!!! Love how you are making this a multipurpose area for you and your family’s enjoyment!!
Looks like it’s time for a complete playground set Laura 😊🥰😊

So excited to see Benjamin and Samantha enjoying the sand pots. But more excited to see Mama joining in at the end.
Sand has always been a big catch for kids. I can't how many times the sandbox rescued me when the kids were young.💕🇬🇧
Love the softer music SO much! Perfect for gardening, even when the video's sped up. ❤
Good Morning! 🎅 It's unreal that you can still do clean up in December! Those little sand boxes are cute. They will get a lot of milage this winter! Love Samantha's reaction to her sandbox & Benjamin doing Ta Da to set the scene!!!! 🥰😲🏖✂️🌿
Samantha and Benjamin are so sweet! Ta Da!! Hours of fun thanks to mom!
Grass was perfect for baby putting everything in mouth. Sand will be a staple for several years!
