Posting to Social Media on the DJI RC Pro

- Social Media is instant media; like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. Whether you’re a recreational flyer wanting to show friends and family photos and video having just landed... or maybe you’re a professional promoting your business with your latest footage. Either way, there has been a tremendous desire to post in the field. Which perhaps explains the requests we’ve received for a video on how to post directly from the RC Pro.
The RC Pro is DJI’s Premium Remote Controller for the Mavic 3, Mavic 3 Cine and the Air 2S. The methods used here should also work on the original DJI Smart Controller with all the Drones it supports like the Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic 2 Zoom, Mini 2, etc.
In all, we found 5 different methods that work to post to Social Media from the RC Pro. This video focuses on the 2 best/most simple. We begin with some basic considerations. Then we show the set-by-step to posting... First via the DJI Fly App Album (our favorite method) and then using the browser.

[ Bugs and Known Issues ]
(As of 4.2.22)
1) Cannot enter a message in Twitter
Issue: In the native Twitter App on the RC Pro, when attempting to add a message to a photo or video, the virtual keyboard immediately closes after opening preventing you from typing your message.
Workaround 1: Use the browser instead. The Twitter web version doesn’t have the issue. Workaround 2: Paste your message from the clipboard. You can use any input text box from a different app to type your message (like the url field in the browser). Then copy it to the clipboard and paste it in the Twitter app message field.
2) Can’t post videos from Facebook browser method
Issue: After logging into the Facebook site, when attempting to post a videos or photo, both appear to be available. But, only photos work.
Reason: When using a browser on the RC Pro, websites will detect it as being a mobile device. By design, many websites redirect mobile devices to special mobile versions of their site to maximize slower bandwidth and to present an interface designed for smaller screen real-estate. Unfortunately, Facebook’s mobile site, only allows for uploading photos.
Workaround 1: Use the first method shown in this video (Posting via the DJI Fly App Album).
Workaround 2: Force the browser to load the desktop version of the website. Unfortunately, the Firefox browser always redirected to the mobile site regardless of method used to get around it. We were able to install the app Opera, which is an alternate browser and then use the standard workarounds to get to the desktop version of the Facebook website. In Opera, select the three dots in the upper right and enable “Desktop Site”. Then type the following in the web address (url) field / home.php
But, if you’re going to be installing a 3rd party app, you might as well just use our
favorite method: “Posting via the DJI Fly App Album”
RC Pro File Paths:
- Cached Videos: Internal Storage/Android/Data/DJI.go.v5/Files/MediaCaches/
- Photos**: Internal Storage/Android/Data/DJI.go.v5/Cache/ImageCaches/
- Screenshots: Internal Storage/Pictures/Screenshots/
- Screen Recordings: Internal Storage/Movies/
** This location also holds the thumbnails of both videos and photos which are extremely low resolution and not suitable for posting to social media.

We also have a related video on formatting the SD card.

Good idea! Thank you.
Thanks for this video. I am wondering if there is any way to Text photos or videos?
Oooh. Good question. Of course you’d have to be on the internet.
I’m sure there are Texting Apps you could try installing. We do have a video on Installing 3rd Party Apps on the RC Pro
ruclips.net/video/a2AYMdwCpZY/видео.html
Worst case, you could copy the photo or video to your phone and text from there. We have a video on that too… How to Copy DJI's Mavic 3 & RC Pro Videos & Photos to an iPhone (works on other phones too)
ruclips.net/video/ArWp3okJ_IE/видео.html
How do you create or edit a video mon the DJI rc pro controller
We have another video for that. Simple Editing using the DJI Fly App
ruclips.net/video/8y9CjzOxI_Y/видео.html
Can you upload videos to RUclips using the browser method on the RC Pro
I’ll give it a try when I get a chance and get back to you.
@@middleloopvideo OK Thanks
Im having issues with my photo and videos being blurry when i post, what might be the cause of that
What drone? I’m in the habit of forcing the focus when I fly. Tap on the subject on your screen. There are also some auto focus settings you should look into. These are not intuitive but there are videos out there that can help
@@middleloopvideo i have air2s
@@arussnupe1 ah. We don’t have experience with that drone. But, in my experience on the Mavic 2 Pro, where I had that issue, the auto-focus setting causes the drone to focus on the ground before take off. Usually on an object close to the drone, like grass. Then when in the air, things are blurry. Try tapping on the screen, on something you want in focus once in the air. You can manually focus it as often as you want.
How do you transfer to watsap ?
We have a video on loading 3rd party apps. But, I don’t know if it is compatible.
Woah can I use for whatsapp?
I've never used Whatsapp. But, you should try and let us know.
@@middleloopvideo too expensive for get it
100% charge how many time working hours
Which device? RC Pro?
@@middleloopvideo rc pro remote
It's rated at 3 hours operating time. I've never tested it... but, even if you get half that, its three batteries on the Mavic 3😉
@@middleloopvideo tq information 😊
