Jerry, thanks a lot for the patience to post such detailed and thorough information, I was not taking full advantage of my MAVIC 3 recordings being edited through my DJI RC PRO! Regards from San Luis Potosí, MEXICO.
Thank you for the kind feedback. We realized people needed an easy way to edit if they wanted to post to social media straight from the RC Pro. Good luck 🍀 and happy flying!
Hey Jerry.....Great tutorial on the fly app on the RC Pro. Myself am not to big of a hurry to post to media. So I just wait till I get back to my desktop system.
Hey guy's great information keep you the good work. I would like to see a tutorial on color correcting photo's in the dji fly app. I've searched RUclips and there's little to none about color correcting photos only video. Thanks
What device are you running the fly app on? And I guess it would also be helpful what you will be doing with the images once color corrected? Social media? Texting? Just viewing on the device?
I'm running the Fly App on an iPad Pro 9.7. What I want to do is add the color corrected photos to a time line along with video. When I play the time line even with transitions everything flys by no pon intended. The issue is I can't slow the viewing of photos down to give the viewer time to take in the photo stills.
As for social media what usually do is to upload the finished video to Google Drive and share by sending a link and whoever has it can view the video and they have the option to download it. It works for me. Regards Jay
The color correction inside the Create feature of the Fly app is not very flexible. If you download the image to the iPad, color correct it there using the native photo app or a downloaded app (we use photoshop)... you can then bring the image into a Create video... or of course there are much better video editors you can use on the iPad. To extend an image's length in the fly app "Create" program, i believe can change the duration of photos by tapping on them and using the handles. At 10:10 in the tutorial, we show this by extending the length of the title. Try it and please report back. Thank you.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your help. I subscribed to your channel when I look at your first video about editing in the Fly App it was very thorough thank you for the timely information and keep up the good work. Kind regards Jay
Hello Sir. I want to thank you for giving such in depth information about the DJI Mavic 3 and the RC Pro controller. I actually started with the Mavic Air a couple of years ago but became un-enthused after i crashed it, which was pilot error. So I recently got back into it and purchased the Mavic 3 and am awaiting for delivery. I didn't get the Fly more pack this time but did go for the RC Pro controller. Your channel will make the experience a little easier. Thanks from a new subscriber.
I appreciate the kind words. The Mavic 3 is a great product and you were wise to wait. The firmware has improved a lot from the first release. Still lacking Waypoints. But nearly there! Thanks for subscribing. It really helps.
Very clear and concise, I would be among those that would appreciate the same for the new rc controller launched with the mini 3, the app does not appear to operate in the same way on that device.
I’ll need to look into it. We don’t have that RC. I’m a little surprised it’s different since it’s a function of the Fly app. I’ll let you know if I’m able to learn more. Thank you for the comment!
Mavic 2 uses the GO 4 app. It has a Create feature but somewhat different. I haven’t tried. But you probably could use the Fly App Create editor too. Finding the files to Edit might be a challenge but doable.
Probably. This editor is a feature of the DJI Fly app which is compatible with the Mavic Air 2. We don’t have that drone to be to confirm it. But, we assume so.
We received a comment saying the DJI App didn’t match up regarding the Create feature. We don’t own that product so we aren’t able to verify and they didn’t elaborate on how it differs. Any info you can provide would be helpful. Thank you. -Jerry
How are you able to download vids/photos from the drone to the controller? My RC controller shows the files but when I try to download them from the mini 3 pro to the RC it comes up with an error message that basically tells me to use the "quick transfer" to my phone. Please help, its driving me nuts. Can't find anything on the internet for this.
@@middleloopvideo Yes. But could not view the videos on the controller that I wanted to download to my phone's DJI app. I'm obviously just learning. Probably will end up later on doing it all in iMovie.
That's a little odd. The videos should automatically be cached on the controller... meaning, an HD version of the video will be stored... however, you may have that feature off. There is also a setting that controls how much memory can be used for the cache. Photos, are not automatically cached.
I can’t remember if you can install and use the RUclips Studio app via our method of installing 3rd party apps ( ruclips.net/video/a2AYMdwCpZY/видео.html ) or not. Worst case is you could probably use the browser and login to your account that way. Either way, you’ll probably need to save the file and upload it from the file system.
Yes. I’m pretty sure we cover that as one of the methods in another video we did: How to Copy DJI's Mavic 3 & RC Pro Videos & Photos to an iPhone (works on other phones too) ruclips.net/video/ArWp3okJ_IE/видео.html Let me know if you still have questions after viewing it. Thank you. -Jerry
Thank you jerry for your quick response and hopefully that will help and I watched your link so practice makes perfect. Keep the videos coming. Michael
Clear and concise, easy for this Ole dog trying to learn new tricks !
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.

That’s great! We appreciate you reaching out.

Yes. I don’t think it’s meant to compete with that. But, surprisingly good. Thank you!
Excellent tutorial 👏

Will this video be the same when using a cell phone Apple with editor on the Mavic 2 pro ..? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you Thomas

My DJI fly app has no create button?
What drone and controller do you have?
Can you edit using the RC from mini 3 pro?

Incidentally, the Mini 3 Pro is now compatible with the RC Pro. Just an FYI.
Why cant I send videos of any size via email error always say file to large ? Thanks
I assume you’ve tried a really short clip just to troubleshoot? Give DJI support a try. I’ve had good experiences with them.

Okay, it was just a matter of a controller update. Problem fixed!
Why do you want them on the controller? Don’t you just want them on the computer or phone?

Could you please tell me can you down load straight to a memory stick from the RC pro.
Yes. I’m pretty sure we cover that as one of the methods in another video we did:

Impossibly complicated….. how anybody understand any of this stuff is completely beyond my comprehension !
Not sure I understand. Are you finding the video hard to follow or the feature impossibly complicated.
Both !
