Mattheww! you never cease to amaze me at the level of your professionalism! This was an excellent video and a great intro to InShot which I'd never heard of before! Excellent as always!! Thanks!
I am making new content during my travels with the mini 3 pro. Just wanted to say your videos have been critical in helping me understand the intricacies of this drone and getting the maximum potential from it. You are appreciated so much!
Hi, after u made the speed ramp you should make the beat cut again? because the lenght of that clip might change and the cut at the beat wont be the same, isnt it? thank you
love all you videos, so much info...BUT I would like to know how to slow down the speed in which the machine moves left and right...I feel when using the right stick and moving it left or right the reactions are to sharp for my liking....I would like a slower response from the drone, any info please
I am new to all this and I must say you are the best on YT for what you do in this subject. I have had so many light bulb moments watching this video. Cant wait to get out and try these out. Many thanks
I honestly can't believe this video was free to watch. This is by far the best, most complete tutorial showing how to create great content end to end. I'm definitely going to try and follow it step by step with my mini 3 pro. Thank you for this excellent content. Sub'd, liked and shared.
Thank you, and happy to hear this video has helped. Definitely think longer form end to end videos like this are the way forward as it shows you the complete process. Appreciate you taking the time to watch.
thank you for your tutorials, man! i missed it... how did you get that many short clips instead of one long one? can it be done automatically during record? or its done post record?
This is the live editing video with huge value. I usually use Epidemic sound app on my phone to download a track, and have been using the DJI Fly CREATE option to do all of my editing on the go.
How easy is it to get the footage onto your device from the drone? I can’t figure this out at the moment. I’m new to this and using a DJI Mini 3 (Non-pro)
I'm newto drones, so new I fact that my mini 3 pro is still in the post. I currently make RUclips videos with my phone, using video shop. They are crude, I simply pick videos and stills and join them together. I now want to make videos of our holiday adventure and do voice over and music for some of the clips. I have never done this so far. I fe simply questions 1 When you previewed your video on the controller is that simply sending it from the drone sd card or has it downloaded it to the sd card on the RC unit? 2 How do you transfer the video clips from your drone to your phone?
Your videos are so informative, I am a new drone flyer and you are teaching me so much! How far out is that island? Do you think my dji mini pro 3 will be able to cope with the wind around the Golden Gate Bridge or Alcatraz? Thanks again for your amazing work
thank you for the cinematic editing tip. I will subscribe the InShot. I hope I can able to share this to my relatives. the only problem is it has too big of file to send to. Any tip how to solve that?
love your videos, could ou tell me in your opinion which you would think would be best for a video channel it is going to be about back packing hiking and wild camping so all outdoors I have a dog too that will be in the videos. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max which is amazing just wondered what your thoughts are many thanks.
Ive watched everything you have already :[ I can only like one time per video. Great stuff tho, I really appreciate your channel, My son (7) and I started watching you to learn about the Mini3 pro, soon we will throw some content up and we will surely give you all the credit to the techniques and quality :] take care
I was in doubt if if should buy of not that app...you completely convinced me :-) Its so nice and convenient to have an app in iPhone (or iPad just noticed its works same way and a larger screen :-)) Matthew you are the best ! Thanks a lot for your amazing tutorials ! Cheers from Portugal !
You can quick transfer them. Turn on the drone, load up the DJI Fly App on your phone and you will see the quick transfer option at the bottom left. Tap that and you can transfer the video files over quickly and easily.
Hi. Love your videos. I can on this one to see how you shorted the music track. You didn’t say how you did it. Can you do a video on how to shorted music track. Thank you
That was a superb video and extremely easy to follow. I’ve been subscribed since almost the beginning of your channel and loving how much it has improved as you gain more experience. Thank you.
Thanks Matthew! This was my favorite of your videos so far and gave me the confidence to edit my first sequence of clips off my Mini 2. My clips are a bit jerky, but my technique is improving. InShot made joining and trimming the clips easy.
@@TheDroneCreative I only just discovered that The DJI Fly App has video editing built in, letting you trim multiple clips, add transitions and soundtrack. It's not as complete as InShot but I didn't even know it existed till yesterday...💡
How high up the island were you when you did the Drop down shot? You had it greyed out so we couldn't see. Just trying to know to shoot my own shots. Thanks
that is so cool. I’m a complete newbie but so excited to get going. This was very clear and understandable, but I need to know how to get the video clips off my dji into my phone?
Hi Matt. I’m a new drone user & a stills photographer looking to get into drone photography. I love the idea of editing on my phone as I intend taking the drone away with me on holidays. My question is, how did you get the video files from your drone to your phone. I might add that I’m old as well as old school so not very tech savvy and so would appreciate all the help I can get. I have watched a couple of your videos and am now a subscriber. Cheers. Craig Byrne.
Hey, thank you for taking the time to comment. I have just filmed a video on how to get the video files from your drone to your phone. Keep an eye out for that this week. Thanks.
Great video Mattheww! I bought the InShot and have created a couple videos with shots from my Mini3Pro but still have a lot to learn! Thank you for an awesome tutorial!
Great video!!! Some really great tips for composing the shots too. I have a question - when it comes to editing on a desktop computer instead of your phone, is there any particular software you would recommend? Final Cut, Premiere, something else? Thanks!
Hi Matthew my names shaune have been watching your videos for sometime now as I own a dji mini 3 pro and osmo 4 camera which not yet used I’m a metal Detectorist and would like to start making videos for you tube also have apple Mac just watched your video about the in shop app I do have the dji mimo app on my iPhone and would like your help if you can to which way to start as find all this a bit confusing so any advice would be most welcome as you explain so well for me it’s getting the footage of my drone and phone and camera on to the best device also have the dji mic too wireless look forward to your reply and hope you can help me to get started many thanks shaune in Kent history seeker 👍
All of my recent video has the wavy / jello effect. I have checked the blades and replaced any that "might" have blemishes, no luck. I really believe it is a camera setting issue. I have tried to find the way to reset to the default settings, but no luck. Any suggestions?
Hi Matthew, another great video. Thanks. You have given me some good ideas! Thanks. I need to get better video editing software. I currently use OpenShot (I tried Shotcut but preferred OpenShot) because it was free and easier to use but it lacks a lot of functionality, so I will see others that are not too expensive. I particularly like cutting the clips to the beat and the sound effects. I need to start editing my hundreds of videos and making them into RUclips content. One question though, how long do you keep these videos? I see you cut each clip very short but what is the average length of your videos?
Hey! Glad to hear this video has given you ideas! For the length it really depends. For social media I usually make them quite short, but if it was for a cinematic video on RUclips then I would make the clips much longer. Hope that helps!

The Mini 3 PRO is just awesome to use for cinematic shots especially since it's easy to take anywhere for travels. Thanks for this!
I agree, it's so small you can fit it in nearly any bag yet gets epic looking video. Hope these tips help!
Great video!!!
What's your pov when comparing InShot with Adobe Rush? They look similar imo.
I personally use InShot, but that's only because I am familiar with it and have been using it for a while. I think you can't go wrong with either!
Thank you for making that orbit tutorial easy to follow! Love how the Mini 3 is easy to use too especially for cinematic moves.
The orbit has to be one of the best moves, right? Hope it helps, thanks for watching!

I really appreciate your videos Matthew! You have a very good way of teaching and so easy to learn.
