NOOOOOO! Using a Jupiter JTR-600M and I was hoping for something cheap and fun for the lolz.
You can get a regular size trumpet for cheaper then that
Trumpet guy is floor gang
Oh yeah
Ceiling gang
I like this trumpet a lot, it looks really cool
I agree
I agree
I would like this but I don't wanna mess up the 100 lol I mentally like it
111 now
Indeed
The antimute definitely has a fuller sound compared to the empty, it brings out the lower harmonics much clearer, makes it less tinny.
It would be nice to see you playing some song on this mini pocket and the regular trumpet side by side. The mini pocket looks quite cute, and thanks for introducing us to your floor lol.
I will definitely be doing a video comparing the two
Actually the “mute” is much more interesting than the trumpet itself. Could a regular trumpet sound like a flugelhorn with one of those bell?
The case looks more like a lunch box
I had to buy this trumpet.
I was actually impressed. I'm not a pro but I'm loving it.
Since I have small hands, this trumpet is more confortable to hold that a normal trumpet, and feels more natural in my hands, plus the design looks cooler that a normal one to me. Really fun, makes me want to practice more and I don't end up with pain in my hand of holding it as with the normal trumpet.
Totally recomend it and it is built with quality!
omg they packed it in a lunch box hahaha
it's so cute! I hope to see more of your baby trumpet videos as it grows up!
When you first played it, it reminded me of that old TV series, "Death Valley Days." It sounds more like a bugle than a trumpet. If I were to purchase one, I would use it exclusively for bugle calls. 🎺 🎶
Flight of the Bumblebee on the tiny trumpet!
Sacrilegious

Your tone is much less airy on this trumpet compared to your strad. Nice👍🏻
I just recently got a pocket trumpet, and the same thing happened to me :)
Mouthpiece can be a big fix for airy-ness. Got a Harrelson 5MM, played with some different throats and some made me hella airy, while others, even after practicing for about two-three hours, with torn up lips, my tone was still rock solid somehow.
This is the first time I've seen a trumpet this cute lmao
Ikr
imagine a blue devils screamer solo on one of these baby boys
Maybe VK
Or Madison Scouts! :-P
the tone is darker and sounds fuller with the large bell incert . it sounds really good a i would expect from carol brass
Cool! It really Sounds like a regular trumpet...I like one of those
Cool! I’m a string instrument guy (Bass, Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin and Fiddle). Some day I plan to get a Cornet to diddle around on. I love the sound! The mini trumpet might be a good fun thing to mess around with. Thanks!
The piece added to the bell just gives your sound more spread and focus. You will probably have to adjust your tuning if you have that added to the bell. The horn should be able to accept a cup and Harmon mute. Enjoy it !!
This guy deserves more views and subs
thanks, that would be cool
Thought of getting this for my friend, now I definitely will
I have it!!! It plays quite well. Your case is much better than my snap lock case.
It's so nice ! I would like to have one like this ! I love trumpet so much !
I am surprised with its performance ,it has a really good sound ,So thumbs up for me ,like to hear some more music played on it next video.
Anti-mute doesn't seem to effect tone quality much if any. It seemed to lower the pitch a little, which makes sense because it adds a bit of tubing. I think the uncertainty and worry about the anti-mute falling out would more than offset any gain realized from the differnce in tone.
Cool MINI POCKET TRUMPET. Fun video.
I don't think the antimute is supposed to change the quality. I think it's supposed to change the volume. The wider the bell of a horn, the more loudly it sounds. Also, being this up close and personal with any acoustical musical instrument makes it sound differently to you than actually listening to it from a recording. I know, because I recorded music on my hammered dulcimer, and when I play it back, it sounds as odd as when I record my own voice and listen to it.
Good for travel or doing gigs in tight spaces😁
Definitely
Kurt, please delete your channel.

Nice sound! A novelty horn you can use for practice or a small group gig.
Please do a overlook/overview of all your trumpets!
Sounds fine, I think it would be fun. Just the sight of it makes me smile. And people are curious when they see it.
I'm interested in knowing if you think the mini-pocket trumpet responds more like a cornet and if the manufacturer gave a conical bore to compensate for the more overt coils in the tubing to make it more compact. In regard to the anti-mute, it sounded like the tone was filled out, or had more depth. Pocket trumpets have a tendency to have a thin tone. It seems the anti-mute add-on bell compensates for that.
Sounds good
Nice trumpet thinkin of getting one soon
Yo tengo una Getzen de esas y es una maravilla. Me acompaño por mi gira a Europa, la traía en el cinturón.
Amazing
Toss the anti mute. The cork isolates it from resonance with the horn. You had me at $250, $480 though ugh, still thinking 🤔. For what it is it sounds fantastic and personally think the anti mute is all marketing to reduce the chance of returns. The more times I watch your video I’m falling in love with it. It’ll look awesome with my Monette mp. Lol
I think the tuning slide with the ring is actually for the 3rd valve, I noticed other tuning slide looking lines on the other side.
hi, good afternoon what trumpet can you re commend for student, good quality and cheaper, thanks and im here in rhe phillipines
Yay

Trumpet Guy: "They are not sponsoring me, this is an honest review..."
Also Trumpet Guy: [wearing a Carol Brass T-Shirt]
Carol Brasskin killed her husband blasted him lmao
I was thinking that too hahaha
Damien Ramirez forreal tho
I was thinking this as well
Yessir
The "Mute" takes some of the "brassy" sound out of the horn. It is not what I think about when I think of a mute, but it does change the tone to be more refined. I am not sure I would ever use it, or what motivated the manufacturerer to include it, but it came in the box.
*good sound. great for travel!*
Its really cute!
beautifull ,..................
isn't anti-mute only meant to be an adapter for regulare mutes?
I have one of those and I love it
*carol brasskin*
It’s so cute!!
man I love it
The shirt just looks like it feels good
Maybe the anti-mute is just so you can put normal mutes in it
Muito Bom!!!
And nice playing :D
I user to play with one of those when i was younger,it was a blue one
Just subscribed. Love the video and the trumpet. Also, I can’t tell a difference between the weird mute thing or not
interesting. That anti-mute seems to soften some of the brightness. Makes me think going from a standard trumpet to a pocket trumpet would be like going from a cornet to standard trumpet, at least in terms of sound quality. Or perhaps just a little less marked than going from a flugel horn to a cornet.
Hi, I'm learning to play trumpet. I just got one (a pocket trumpet, lol) and I have a question: that tuner in the thumb is frequently moved while playing?
Its moved to tune the third valve, just like the third valve slide on a normal trumpet
Oh it comes with La Tromba swiss oil, one of the best so far! Thats nice. :)
What about the valves?
I have a pocket trumpet made by allora and I love it
Even though I'm play percussion, I would totally buy this
The little bell extension piece allows you to use your regular trumpet mutes with the instrument. The small bell won’t accept them.
I think te anti-mute is there to make it the right size for a normal mute
I'm sure it has great personality!
Well, you correctly identified the "anti-mute" or ampli-mute correctly. However, the silver item that you questioningly identified as the mouthpiece, is actually a super-duper mute. Place it in the bell, small end first, find a snare drum stick, and ram rod it to form a tight seal between it and the horn. Looking forward to the vid. Thx, Craig.
My first trumpet was a little red pocket trumpet
It was cool to start with but it was hard to switch to an real one
Aight you’ve convinced me I’m buying a pocket trumpet now
I like how my next video recommendation is "Blue Devils 2017 - Javier Cam" knowing damn well I can't play trumpet as clean as that.
Cool
I have a plastic mouthpiece I like to use for marching band and it’s a Kelly Screamer and my teacher hates it because my range is very very high like almost double C high
i taught myself trumpet, and I am just learning high e. Is it normal to not have a great embeshure? Like, sometimes i can't even play because it's just airy as heck! any tips? I have a plastic trumpet 😕
improving/changing your embouchure is definitely something you can fix. It will help a lot with having an airy tone.
I want this type new trumpet how can i get how much it costs
Like the trumpet love😍😍
I think the anti mute kinda tunes the mini trumpet to sound like the full size
The Anti Mute is basically a Bell Extension
Nice save Danielson. I mean catching the anti-mute in mid flight.
A pocket trumpet sounds a bit different to the person playing it because the sound coming out of the bell is much closer. It is harder to put air through because you have to force the air through more curves.
Since I watch you all the time and I know you do popular songs on the trumpet, could you do Sweet Night by BTS' Kim Taehyung, it's really cool, I recommend it!
Me: sees thumbnail
Also me: the faq?
it's also in Bb dork!!
What the price
It does sound different with the "anti-mute". Like more of a "round" sound
Sick
When that first tune came out i was expecting "We are number one" to start blasting.
I want one!
It's cool and all but can you play Penny lane on it??
Even Pewdiepie will be jealous of that floor. Nice floor👍. I like the little trumpet.
My thought exactly
When I bought one I played it and it was harder for me to play higher notes
The F or (G) in your case is suuuuppppperrr sharp. It’s probably due to the trumpet being so compact. Maybe try to lip that in tune when you play more. The high F seemed more in tune than the middle range F which is weird.
Nice full trumpet sound. How much did it cost you? You should do a comparison with a pocket trumpet.
It was sent to me, but it usually costs $480. I'll definitely be doing a comparison soon
I bought a pocket trumpet a couple years ago, but this one is a lot smaller. I bet it's got even more intonation issues.
Lil trumpet sounds good
Wow. It sounds just like a regular trumpet.
I really like small instruments
the G (concert F) is a little sharp but otherwise sounds fine
'Justy' Madgin I have a similar pocket trumpet. Cost me £160 ($200) 20 years ago. Good as a novelty in a concert, but not up to my Strad.
Man can u recommend a good trumpet for biginners including the little ones, and plastic ones, something that gives u and advantage of a good instrument whiout braking the bank.
I went into fourth grade band as a trumpet player and I used a pocket trumpet LOL. Everyone in class thought it was cute
i can picture a battle between those trumpets and big trumpets
