Although I wasn’t into the fighting side of things the 70’s and 80’s football was the game I loved and spent my money going to games every week. I wouldn’t watch the game now if you paid me!!! Great days, wish I had a time machine to go back!!
Too many foreigne4s. I like english football as was played in the 70s. Im watching those matches on youtube since at the time only the FA cup final was available in portugal
This is by far the best documentry on hooliganism. The others just seem to scare the public about a subject they know nothing about.I'm not into it personally.I'd rather put my energy elsewhere but if people want to fight each other for kicks, why not let them. Its there life, not yours and you have to admit, its better than watching Eastenders
i'm american i've been to the u.k. 3 times but by then the whole football hooligan deal was over with (late 90's) which really sucks because i would've loved to see this shit in the flesh. here in the states you get more trouble at concerts (especially punk and metal gigs) and not so much sporting events. and, tbh, i find this shit way more entertaining to watch than the sport itself.
I just know if I had lived in in the UK instead of California I would have wound up in one firm or another. It's just my personality. Especially the state the country was in and besides my family my friends meant everything.
Poor video A Sociology Major thrown together. And for those that know or don't I'll be the one to say it out loud as many have him on a pedestal. Cass was/is a nobody when it comes to being a Football Hooligan. he'll be remembered as an Author or a Fella who did well out of the football hooligan scene..
Here is the question Soccer "hooligans" make americans ask - "Really? Your upset over Swansea? or QPR? these shitty non teams make you so angry!!? Really? I mean get upset about a team that somebody actually cares about!"
noidealeftbehind it wasn't about the team you prick ,keep your nose out of what you know fkuk all about ,which was all town and city crews defended there town from anyone coming in and visa versa when we went out of town its in our blood we lived for it back then you wouldn't understand ,glory glory Blackpool fc we fkud em up back in the day ,seaside mafia ,bisons riot squad ,young firm ,with Benny's mob ,rammy arms crew .
People feel more loyalty to their local club and friends than team a hundred miles away that happens to be famous abroad .I'm from London why should I care about Manchester or Liverpool? Nothing that they do has any bearing lon my life But Millwall represents me and my neighbours it's a matter of pride. West Hm feel the same about their team even though they are our bitter enemies I respect them for that. The big teams like Man U and Liverpool are owned by foreign billionaires who couldn't care less about the town its people or supporters their players are bought from all over the world paid fortunes an d have mnoo ĺoyalty to their club city or fans just money player like Rooney would be just as happy to play against Man U they wouldn't care if Manchester was destroyed by an earthquake and the entire population destroyed as long as they continued earning the same money total mercenaries . The question Americans make soccer hooligans ask is why the fuck would you or anyone else care about a team representing a city that you have no connection with have never and will never go within a thousand miles of? Should I support th club based in my neighbourhood with players I went to school with or Moscow Sparteck who are much bigger

EltonJohn singing about scrapping whist wearing those big glasses & stack heeled boots is more like something from Monty Python 😁

None of these mobs dared come up to Scotland in the 70s
🤡🤡🤡🤡😂😅🤣😂😅😂😅🤣😂😅
Most English don’t like Haggis! Why else would they come up there ? Micky mouse firms.
Was it really that bad too for football fans in Scotland in the 70s?
