I recently lost a large part of my hair due to stress, this was a huge blow to me because I have hip length hair that I've always been very proud of. I recently made the decision that since the missing chunks have started growing back I'm going to cut the rest of my hair so that the growing parts can catch up. I've really been grieving the ability to put my hair in long braids, but this channel has really comforted me and made me feel a lot happier with my decision.
I am a new subscriber. I have the same length of hair but not as thick. I always struggle what hairstyles to do. You make it look so easy. I usually just keep my hair down but ive fallen in love with your videos :)

How do you take out hairstyles like these topsy tail ones or faux braids out? Those elastics (or at least the ones I have) won't go anywhere, so how do you remove them without ruining your hair? Do your just cut them or rather "undo" your hairstyles and take them out so you're able to reuse at least some of the elastics? I really love your hairstyles and massively improved my braiding since I watch your videos, but I'm often scared to try things which include more clear elastics because I struggle getting them out of my hair..
I make sure not to make the elastics really tight and the ones I use are really easy to take out. If for some reason they get caught in my hair, I'll just cut them. They're really cheap so I don't feel too bad lol That makes me so happy! Which hairstyles do you like creating?
Thanks for your answer! Okay maybe I should try your brand then, because mine are incredibly hard to take out (maybe also because they are way smaller than the ones you use..) My favourites are braided hairbands and everything which gets my hair out of the way. At the moment it's mostly spacebuns or similar creations, and so many people comment on them (maybe also because of the almost-rainbow-hair? :D) I'm slowly getting into rope-braids too, but somehow my hands stop coordinating at some point - but I guess that's just a matter of practice :D

These are always so helpful! I love my short hair but often want it out of my face (and not in a boring ponytail). I am trying to grow my hair out but its so weak and brittle and frizzy here in the south!!!! Do you have a good brand that is natural that I can get from Walmart or Target for a finishing spray and texture spray? Or would you recommend a finishing paste instead of a finishing spray? When I say my hair is fragile.....I mean it breaks in the wind especially with hair spray lol. I do coconut oil treatments and hair mask 2 or 3 times a week, and I only shower 2 or 3 times for my hair, The rest of my body gets washed everyday or the next day!!!!!! Samantha Shira try not pulling your hair as tight as she does. I find if I do tight to scalp sections, my scalp hurts, but not if I do them just a little looser. Good luck. I think Malabu is wonderful with ideas & styles.
These are very cute. I'd gave to modify them slightly for my grandma look. Two things: I live the high lights in your hair but they look so perfectly placed. Maybe you could do a video on getting those highlights. Second, you mentioned "we are going to be selling these in the future. Where and what do you sell? I just recently found your channel. I have dark, think hair.

It might be in a store here too, but I Guess I can wait about 2 weeks or so to get it in my mail. love these tips but I'm terrible at doing my hair. by the time I'm done with these kinds of do's my arms hurt, my hair is greasy, and I look a mess. how do you combat that? I know practicing I always screw up even when looking in the mirror.
When you are tightening each small pony tail or Topsy tail, do u not damage ur hair. When I do it, my hair always seems to break and/or get extremely tangled and frizzy. Any suggestions

Try placing the sections closer to each other and don't make the topsy tails so tight. Pull them apart and little and you should be able to hide the elastics.
I love the 2nd and the 8th topsy tail for adult like me because first and foremost it's easy for me. But overall, I like all of it.

No, it doesn't :) Unless you pull the hair elastics extremely tight lol These elastics are really comfortable.

Have tried topsy tail styles before and mine never work, the elastic is always visible and it looks naff...
Try placing the sections closer to each other and don't make the topsy tails so tight. Pull them apart and little and you should be able to hide the elastics.
I love the headband one... But i will try and take like 1 hr to do it and not even come close to yours 😥😔😕😖😫
Aww you got it! You can take bigger sections of hair and it will look absolutely amazing and will be really fast to accomplish :)
