Dr.Sahab Thanks for providing very useful information ,sir my age is 71yrs. I had Vetro retinal surgery some 20 years ago at Dr Agrawal eye hospital at Chennai for removal of some fibers which was Pulling retina of my REye. Actually I am not aware that at that point of time silicon oir or gas which was actually filled in my eye , but I remember that no second option was was performed for removal of silicon oil. Is it possible now to actually know whether silicon oil is still lying in my that eye at present. Kindly add a few words and oblige

I had retina detachment surgery 4 weeks back and i am 25 weeks pregnant. Doc told after delivery they will remove silicon oil. But my eye dosent look same as other.eye lid on top looks drooped . Will it come back to normal After surgery 3 rd week i had appointment doc said everything looks good but i cant read anything i can only see blurry in my left operated eye, but the curtain which was there before surgery is disappeared now.

If you have done vitrectomy for retina detachment then the doctor will remove most of the vitreous about 90% to lessen the traction on the retina or to get better access the retina. डॉ साहब नमस्कार। मेरी बाई आंख की रेटिना डिटैचमेंट सर्जरी दिनांक 10 जनवरी 2023 को हुई थी। सर्जरी के दौरान सिलिकॉन ऑयल डाला गया था। सर्जरी के 1 महीने के बाद वेल के छोटे-छोटे बबल्स आंख में काफी ज्यादा बढ़ते जा रहे थे। मेरे सर्जन ने 3 महीने बाद ऑयल निकालने के लिए माइनर सर्जरी के लिए कहा था। परंतु दिनांक 16 जून 2023 को कोयल निकाला गया तथा साथ ही साथ सफेद मोतिया का ऑपरेशन भी किया गया क्योंकि आंख में बबल्स तथा क्लाउड टाइप बहुत ज्यादा हो गया था। मेरा सवाल आपसे यह है कि मेरी आंख का सिलिकॉन कोयल पूरी तरह हंड्रेड परसेंट नहीं निकाला जा सका। डॉक्टर ने कहा कि केवल 75 से 80% तक ही सिलिकॉन ऑयल निकाला जा सका है। मैंने ऑयल निकालने के बाद मेरी आंख में वेल के काले धब्बे और रिंग अभी भी मूव कर रहे हैं जो कि विजन को क्लियर फोकस नहीं होने दे रहे। मेरे सर्जन का कहना है कि अब इस वेल के साथ ही आपको आपको देखना पड़ेगा। मेरी आंख में सिलिकॉन ऑयल ऊपर की ओर उठकर थोड़ा जम गया था इसीलिए इसको पूरी तरह नहीं एक बार में निकाला जा सका। जो ऑयल के बबल्स और रिंक है वह विजन को धुंधला और कर रहे हैं। कृपया आप मुझे बताएं कि क्या जो मेरी आंख में 20 से:25 परसेंट सिलिकॉन ऑयल के बबल्स रह गए हैं इनको पूरी तरह से दोबारा निकाला जा सकता है? अगर हां तो क्या प्रोसेस रहेगा और उसमें रिस्क कितना होगा? अगर नहीं निकाला जा सकता तो आंख के अंदर बसा हुआ सिलिकॉन ऑयल आंख में कोई नुकसान तो नहीं करेगा? अभी ऑइल निकले हुए केवल 7 दिन हुए हैं तथा कल मेरी आंख में जो टांके लगाए गए थे उसमें से एक जगह ब्लीडिंग हो गई है इसका कोई नुकसान तो नहीं है? कृपया बताएं। Mobile number 98 170 32 572

My RERD suegery done in bombay by surgeon injecting silicon on 3 may 2024. 50% vidion has come in 15 days. I wanyyo why mysurgeon wants silicon oil removal only in 30 day. IOP pressute in RE is 24. I had retina detachment surgery 4 weeks back and i am 25 weeks pregnant. Doc told after delivery they will remove silicon oil. But my eye dosent look same as other.eye lid on top looks drooped . Will it come back to normal
After surgery 3 rd week i had appointment doc said everything looks good but i cant read anything i can only see blurry in my left operated eye, but the curtain which was there before surgery is disappeared now.

Hello sir o did my retina surgery in march i have Question that does surgeon remove vitreous gel completely? if yes I'm still able to see floaters in my eye ? Why so? Whether the vitreous jel is created automatically in the eye or not ?
If you have done vitrectomy for retina detachment then the doctor will remove most of the vitreous about 90% to lessen the traction on the retina or to get better access the retina. Once your vitreous is removed it will never be produce the again. Vitreous is important only when the eye was formed. After vitrectomy the vitreous humour will be filled with aqueous Humour

Vision blur bi nayi diktha apko
Sir I have done Rdd surgery on 14th of April 2023, I feel some movement while closing my eyes some times but not regular, and some times flashes of light, my eye pressure before 10days was 16,what would be the reason on bottom side like movement, please reply

डॉ साहब नमस्कार।
मेरी बाई आंख की रेटिना डिटैचमेंट सर्जरी दिनांक 10 जनवरी 2023 को हुई थी। सर्जरी के दौरान सिलिकॉन ऑयल डाला गया था। सर्जरी के 1 महीने के बाद वेल के छोटे-छोटे बबल्स आंख में काफी ज्यादा बढ़ते जा रहे थे। मेरे सर्जन ने 3 महीने बाद ऑयल निकालने के लिए माइनर सर्जरी के लिए कहा था। परंतु दिनांक 16 जून 2023 को कोयल निकाला गया तथा साथ ही साथ सफेद मोतिया का ऑपरेशन भी किया गया क्योंकि आंख में बबल्स तथा क्लाउड टाइप बहुत ज्यादा हो गया था।
मेरा सवाल आपसे यह है कि मेरी आंख का सिलिकॉन कोयल पूरी तरह हंड्रेड परसेंट नहीं निकाला जा सका। डॉक्टर ने कहा कि केवल 75 से 80% तक ही सिलिकॉन ऑयल निकाला जा सका है। मैंने ऑयल निकालने के बाद मेरी आंख में वेल के काले धब्बे और रिंग अभी भी मूव कर रहे हैं जो कि विजन को क्लियर फोकस नहीं होने दे रहे। मेरे सर्जन का कहना है कि अब इस वेल के साथ ही आपको आपको देखना पड़ेगा। मेरी आंख में सिलिकॉन ऑयल ऊपर की ओर उठकर थोड़ा जम गया था इसीलिए इसको पूरी तरह नहीं एक बार में निकाला जा सका। जो ऑयल के बबल्स और रिंक है वह विजन को धुंधला और कर रहे हैं। कृपया आप मुझे बताएं कि क्या जो मेरी आंख में 20 से:25 परसेंट सिलिकॉन ऑयल के बबल्स रह गए हैं इनको पूरी तरह से दोबारा निकाला जा सकता है? अगर हां तो क्या प्रोसेस रहेगा और उसमें रिस्क कितना होगा?
अगर नहीं निकाला जा सकता तो आंख के अंदर बसा हुआ सिलिकॉन ऑयल आंख में कोई नुकसान तो नहीं करेगा?
अभी ऑइल निकले हुए केवल 7 दिन हुए हैं तथा कल मेरी आंख में जो टांके लगाए गए थे उसमें से एक जगह ब्लीडिंग हो गई है इसका कोई नुकसान तो नहीं है?

My RERD suegery done in bombay by surgeon injecting silicon on 3 may 2024. 50% vidion has come in 15 days. I wanyyo why mysurgeon wants silicon oil removal only in 30 day. IOP pressute in RE is 24. Dorzolamide drop is put. I m 60 M. Why Dr is in hurry. I want to postpone oil removal atleast 4 months. I seek your opinion.
