I'm 21 years old, and I have high myopia. -9.5 diopters in right eye and -12 in left eye. I have had retina detachment surgery in 2020 due to trauma in right eye (I got hit with a football). I started going to the gym in July 2024. I do long distance runs, sprints, heavy lifting and boxing (only on a bag, not sparring at all). 2 weeks ago I had a minor tear but my doctor said it's recovering by itself. Currently, I'm not doing any exercise at all. If I resume exercise again, what exercises should I avoid and is there any treatment (of any expenses) that can permanently fix my problem?

I also happen to be a badminton player who plays around 6-8 hrs per week at a competitive level with rigorous exertion and high level of reach, reaction and effort required. Do you think I can be allowed to resume such active level of badminton after I recover from my current period. If yes, then approximately when can I expect to be. back on the court? FYR my age is in the mid forties, I have an otherwise slim physique with decent movement and reflexes.
