I needed this. We have the same hair type and I used my Denman and my hair dried str8 with curled ends. I didnt jiggle and scrunch my hair. I have to do that next time. My sister has more textured hair so when I watch her use her Denman she didn't do that. But I see now we have diff hair type so I have to do a diff technique. Thanks for this vid!!

I just subscribed after watching this video. Saw Alexa’s video using your technique. My hair and curls are more like yours and I’m hoping I’ll get they same results. I’m in NYC and it’s too humid now and we’re also having a heatwave, so I think I’ll wait till it cools off over the weekend to wash and try this. Glad Alexa did a video on your denmin style 🤗👍🏽
Michele Torres thank you so much for watching!!❤️❤️❤️ as for humidity, I live in California where it’s 70-90% humidity and with this technique and products I use, my curls hold up pretty well! I’ll usually get till like day 7 no refresh!! Definitely let me know how it goes when you try it out!!😘❤️💕

Hey love! I definitely think it’s possible!! I would try it with the Denman brush that’s 5 rows tho! It’s allot smaller and skinnier so it will be allot easier to use on short hair!💕🥰

Soo I have a problem, I don't know what's my curl pattern. my roots are kinda flat like yours but my curls are bigger than yours. I think I'm between 2c/3a but I'm also different from them. at this point don't know what to do :(
Hey love! Don’t stress about curl type bc it literally does not matter at all. What is important to figure out is porosity, density, and strand thickness! I actually made a video all about it. ❤️

Don’t expect ringlets
I have a question do you style it inwards or outwards cuz some parts you did both ?
The direction doesn’t matter as much as the rotation if that makes any sense. So as long as you’re rotating it in the way your curls curls then you’re good!🥰❤️

Are you sure it is an original Denman? I bought a d143 online and it came today. I was surprised to see that it is was matte and looked kinda poorly made. It says "British made" on the handle, which is kind of a red flag, opposed to "made in uk", written under the red area. Anyone else having this kind of brush??
Yes I purchased this one directly from their website it’s a specific collection of theirs! But if you purchased yours online you may have gotten a fake I’m not sure.
you have such beautiful hair.. how do you get no shrinkage when your hair dries? My hair when straight is past my boobs..lol ..and when I wear it curly, its practically is a little past my shoulders.. thanks, Gina
queensgirl58 thank you so much!!!😘 I def have shrinkage!! Haha! I lose about a third of my hair once it curls up! Shrinkage is a sign that you have healthy curly hair so I wouldn’t worry about it. The only thing you can do is use more product and heavier products but that will make your hair a lot more flat and the curl pattern will be stretched out.
