Very happy with my xpulse..6k Kms done..though Himalayan is my fav but I never had the budget for it..but for a 9-5 job guy, ofc commute and with nearby weekend riding..xpulse fully serves d purpose
@@hemanthrocky3702 pick up and low end torque is excellent..perfect for city rides..personally have never done too long rides on it..but some of my friends have take it from Mumbai to Rajasthan...Goa..Rann of Kutch and they say if u r ok with crusing speed of 90-100..then it's good..above 100 it feels strained..u have to modify seat though..stock seat is pathetic..need some cushioning
i am proud owner of xpulse 200 and i really dont feel that its under power for highway bcoz indian road we wont be able to cross 100 km/hr reason the indian road is risky

Having the same underpinnings as the rc390 and the duke 390, comparing it to the multistrada is an understatement to be honest. Its so much more than that!
But its clutch is so tight. In indian traffic your hands will pain. How frequently one would offroad. Mostly it is within city with the offroader ability. Thus xpulse is easier and practical

No doubt its significantly lighter but then yeah in everything u need to compromise a bit. N life is never perfect bro so r the materialistic things. I just love the himalayan. Ducati Multistrada 950. I'm confused between the Himalayan and KTM 390 Adv. Himalayan's performance on the highway is the only sore point in the vehicle. KTM is feature packed, but it lacks low end grunt which means we have to keep it on the boil and ride the clutch when the revs are low.
Answer is the Ducati Multistrada 950. We have a Himalayan and a KTM 990 that live in the stable. My employees often bring their BMW 1200 GS, KTM 390 Duke, and 390 Adventure for part time company in the stable.
My budget is 4 lakhs, I will take my bike on rough roads like Spiti valley or sach pass. Between Himalayan and ktm adv, which one shd I choose? I already own tb500, so I can handle heavy bikes.
My current bikes are Karizma and a Domi 400 BS6. Planning to get an Expulse BS6 too as I think what it offers at that price point is awesome and surpasses any other ADV!! and I need a light bike for off-roading. Even TFT bought this bike and is quite happy with it.

Xpulse 200 for city rides in metros like Mumbai lot of potholes and chaos.. Quick shift movements move stop slowdown raise kind of amidst the massive traffic. Himalayan for long rides,highways , off roading , motive is to explore, weekend long rides or major trips cross country. Both serve different purposes Both are likeable

After seeing those 790s I has expecting something that from them with the 390 engine, but they dis appointed all their fans. As said by abishek it's like soft roder just like multistrada 950. Given that Himalayan in been my favourite motorcycle since it's launch and will be an owner of it one day.
hero xpulse should definitly commercialize their beautiful Rallye 450... if xpulse comes into 400 or 450 it will be perfect new Tru dirt bike in India.... because already the small 200cc model is great.. they should offer the next level bike to compete really with KTM and Rendfield.. and customers get more choice... very good video thanks

The Xpulse 200 you tested here is BS4 or BS6? Did the BS6 iteration have improved high speed touring capabilities? (say at 90-95kmph)
