These guys from the beginning they said 390 adventure is not good and finally selected it as better motorcycle 😂🤣 This review is a joke. Just a paid review
Sumit Majumdar I hope you are doing the same! Cos as I see it having ads is ok, but in a video of 16 minutes having 6 ads means having 1 advertisement for a little over 2:30 minutes. Even Zee Network has better decency for which we are bound to pay!
Himalayan's suspension is way better than these 3 bikes. In fact the seat height of 800mm just allows all kinds of riders to hop into the bike. I have done 450kms without taking any break on the highway. Mileage is 30+ kmpl on highway if riden in 80kmph with smooth shiftings. The service and maintanance and the availability of mechanics is way far better than these new born babies. Only disadvantage of himalayan is problem with the cone set
Himalayan is really good. All it has to do is add a bit more power for highways.. I personally know atleast 10 people who skipped himalyan just because of a bit of lack of power..
That trail which you are calling an off road trail is like a highway for these motorcycles... & when will the "SERIOUS" journalism will get really serious and stop comparing a 200 cc with 400cc motorcycles that too double triple of its cost. If you really want to see what these machines are capable of go to Rajmachi in monsoon. Then decide which is better bike on real off road conditions.
@@junaid757 : 390 is better in a lot of ways... but if your budget is not that high then what's the point ? & atleast there should be some similarities in these bikes.... only one common thing is that these are ADV. But there's no match of Engine power & on road price...
I was really excited but after watching this review I am really disappointed by the quality from something like Overdrive. The journalist were hardly capable of riding those bikes to half of its potential. Sagar, shumi would have been awesome.
They said that all around the himalayan was the best motorcycle to live with and then finally declared the ktm as the winner. A very great comparison video but with the worst verdict ever.
Sorry, but that was a okay review. Please be OD instead of copy cat nonsense. The guy's voice is a drone drowning whatever content value you wanted to create.
How you got 570km range on himalayan? My friend has one and he only rides it economically under 70kmph.even on highway he is not getting 30kmpl..actual average he is getting for bs4 is 26 -27. Your mileage figures seems to be fake.for adv 390 also its not the actual figure.
BMW is out before the race started because of its price. Xpulse is the budget bike. The race must be between KTM and RE. RE has proven itself in Himalayas, KTM must prove itself to be a worthy competitor, rest of all what you guys did was pure drama.
I guess the review was fair but the verdict was fully in favour of Himalayan considering full value for money package.. but not sure why you guys choose KTM..
Seriously I wanna tell you one thing guyzzz ... XPulse a big toy is a winner with all its a compared to all you are shown in this comaparo... Reason .... 1Himalayan = 2×Xpulse,1 KTM =3×Xpulse,1BMW= 4×Xpulse,1tiger = 4×Xpulse But you all guyzzzz compared with XPulse.... And telling it is not producing power /comfort.... Bla bla bla.... But finallyyy I wanna say it completely compitate with all type of bikes... I'm asking you guyzzz straight forward in off-roading or in touring you guyzzz will raise the cruising speed goes to top-end evry time...🤔 Then why you guyzz are tlaking power power power ...... If you want power to go top-notch speed go for sports varient... To be frank no dual sport machine will do better performance in city or street as XPulse 200... Sorryy for what I spoke I think you guyzzz will understand my concern... Thank you ....
I need an upgrade from my Darling 150cc Honda Dazzler and wanted something that was comfortable to sit on,Cruise at 100km/h,decent luggage options, can be taken Offroad slowly, have mileage of 30plus at least and can be ridden easily in bumper 2 Bumper traffic for hours ,Easily avilable cheap spares so far i can only think of Duke 250 BS 6 with offroad tyres and zana saddle stay and top rack with shaad box any suggestions
I have Duke 390 slipper clutch edition the time when Sagar did that video on power drift.Have been many many times to Leh spiti killar sach pass and many more terrains trust me DUKE 390 is unmatchable machine.
Xpulse has sufficient power, enough torque, for city ride and off roading as well as highway, hum kaha 150 km/h se gadi bhagate hai. City me traffic me 20-60 km/h se chalati hai. To kya karna hai utane bade engine se?
What a biased Review I would anyday pick a Himalayan and spend the rest of saved cash compared to GS310 and do two all india rides with the leftover money. U guys are speaking as journalists not as Riders who think on various other aspects, plus the suspension travel on Himalayan I guess is best in class, the parts are pretty damn economical on RE when compared to KTM or GS. Plus RE is rider friendly that is height wise as not all Indians are 6 feet tall to be comfortable at 855mm seat height. Plus a RE can be serviced in any nook and corner of the country unlike GS and KTM, I remember when we were riding to Leh we had a KTM whose struts were damaged and he had to go all the way to Chandigarh to get it replaced. So I guess u guys should do some real world Journalism than just giving your biased Feedback, sounded like a paid promotion by KTM on Overdrive.

Some reviewer's say Xpulse is better in the city while others say Himalayan is better. I have not driven the Xpulse but took a short test drive of the Himalayan. At city speeds I always had to be in either 1st or 2nd gears. So who will give an unbiased opinion of which is better?
As usual Indian TV reviewers only know to mug up things and have zero knowledge ; stiffer seats are actually better for long rides . Ever checked out saddles used by road cyclists they are slim and not sofa like for a reason . Love handle kam karo apne .
KTM is ideal for its price and features!! Re Himalayan is still a crude engine bike and x pulse has a good set up with a low power engine.. Hero could have made it 300cc with 6speed gearbox. Himalayan is doing excellent media marketing but after buying the bike most riders are unhappy with the bike.. BMW is slightly better than xpulse... 390 takes the choice for the cost and best performance.. In India it's 90%road use and rarely off roads!!
I have a question, which bike after a long ride will , still keep you wanting to ride more.(highway wind blast , vibration, engine heat) of the above lot
guys guys chill🖐 don't think to much ok, every bike is not perfect and in this case all the bike is ok for adventure the real case is money ok😂 just buy which comes to your budget it is fine🖐 you'll get use to it and it is worth it, don't think to much guys just pick which comes to your budget 😊 you'll get use to it ❤
M a proud well-wisher of #Xpulse200 , Hero's magnifeciant contribution to India's offroad genre. If Honda isn't interested to introduce the street legal #CRF250 to India, I ll b happy with this #Hero 's gift to our nation.
Ktm 390 adventure owner here, the seat is f***king hard man.Whats the point of adventure if u can't drive comfortably. I regret buying this bike just because of comfort factor
As an owner of adventure 390 ,i would say it does give 43kmpl but that isnt at all fun you have to ride like a miser ,highly not fun and lots of patience is required, realistically tension free mixed riding gives you about 28-32kmpl ,i have a video on my channel of 46kmpl but the way you have to ride is impractical for a bike with this much power you have to resist a lot on opening throttle
To be honest XPulse is winning all the time in my opinion...becozzz it's just 200cc more over it is performing allround with irrespective of any segment (Daily commuting, Adventure, Off-road,Touring etc... I think there is no degarade of Hero XPulse what u people spoken about that cozzit's jst 200cc engine & under 1.2.lakh on road price segemnt with lowest maintenance .... Comparison to all this was the cheapest and budget & rider friendly for any classes..... More over all bikes are 2lakhs + only on road pricing...... RE Himalayan -400cc(2.34L) KTM Adv. - 390(2.98L) BMW GS - 310 (3.49L) By comparing ex-showroom price now you get answer for comparison.... I'm not the owner of XPulse but I'm a middle class .... to comapre ....
My piggy bank is still on the RE. When it got released there were issues which to an extent got ironed out. However that 'kalank' of bring 'underpowered' still stuck on...only untill other ADVish bikes got released. But Himalayan is still the most versatile in the lot. It can the 1 bike to do it all. Not everyone wants or can afford a different bike for a different purpose. Someday I'll get one...😅. Hopefully it'll gain a few more horses by then... But, that being said, the hero 300cc adv which may be launched in a year or 2, can beat the himalayan in versatility if they get the engine and price right.
@@DJ_Dhawz DOHC sounds better. I feel that 650 engine will oursell the rest in Meteore... Himalayan will too heavy with the 650 engine. So they'll have to beef up the chasis...so more weight. Then 47 ps will not make so much sense. It'll be junk like the TRKs. If they use alloys in Chassis and suspention, it'll bump up the price.
Lol are you guys serious? In what world does the 390 ADV give 43 kmpl. The Duke 390 averages around 29 kmpl and the AdV is heavier than the Duke. Heck even the Duke 200 doesn't average above 40 kmpl. This has to be a joke.
KTM 390 is just a fancy bike for show offs.... the last things you will think about a proper adventure bike are TFT screen/bluetooth connectivity bla bla.... Without any doubts, Himalayan is the most practical bike of this lot with all features a true biker needs...Xpluse too can be considered a good choice for starters. But KTM 390 is a complete no no .
Got it about 2 months ago.....done 2500 kms....i tell you...power is more than enough....its crazy light n nimble ..so lovely to flick around..... does good at highway speeds....120kmph ish easily..... beautiful suspension n you can really put thru the trails..... not just good for new riders but I think a great weapon for experienced mature riders too.....compliments my other ride Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 perfectly (done 50k kms on it already) ..jus love it
If I am to judge between these bikes right off the bat for their dirt capabilities, I would always go with the one with the biggest tyres diameter. Little complicated for highway tours tho.

I remember the days when i was eagerly waiting for your magazine to come every month 🥰
Xpulse fans like here
lol
These guys from the beginning they said 390 adventure is not good and finally selected it as better motorcycle 😂🤣 This review is a joke. Just a paid review
43kmpl...on a 390 ADV...Really??? Never watching Overdrive again!!
6 ads in a 16 mins video! Are you kidding! Have to stop watching Overdrive from now!!! 😡 😡 😡
Get RUclips Premium. Start paying if you don't want ads while watching quality content.
Sumit Majumdar I hope you are doing the same! Cos as I see it having ads is ok, but in a video of 16 minutes having 6 ads means having 1 advertisement for a little over 2:30 minutes. Even Zee Network has better decency for which we are bound to pay!
Root your phone and install ad block and stay away from ad's like me without premium🤣🤣
@@toy014 you pay for zee but u don't for RUclips;
Just use RUclips vance and say goodbye to add
It's more like a comparison between KTM 390, GS 310 and Impulse where the leader himalayan played a cameo 😎😍
Himalayan is most unreliable offering
Himalayan is really good. All it has to do is add a bit more power for highways..
I personally know atleast 10 people who skipped himalyan just because of a bit of lack of power..
my height is 5'8, will it be ok if i go for an himalayan, is it comfortable for city drive
Obviously it's normal, you are buying 1 bike not 10-12 ,so you have to decide if Which one is better
@@junaid757 : 390 is better in a lot of ways...
but if your budget is not that high then what's the point ?
& atleast there should be some similarities in these bikes....
only one common thing is that these are ADV. But there's no match of Engine power & on road price...
I think HIMALAYAN is best
This is what i wanted thank you overdrive 😄
I was really excited but after watching this review I am really disappointed by the quality from something like Overdrive.
The journalist were hardly capable of riding those bikes to half of its potential.
Sagar,shumi would have been awesome.
They said that all around the himalayan was the best motorcycle to live with and then finally declared the ktm as the winner. A very great comparison video but with the worst verdict ever.
Test drive both and decide. I finally ended up buying KTM adv
@@DjVRAZY Exactly like driving a truck compared to the KTM. Also the KTM is the best all rounder, the others run out of power on the tarmac...
HIMALAYAN FOR LIFE😎😎
Nonsense videos. So much wrong information. I own a Himalayan and I can give in writing that mileage is not more than 25 kmpl
You Are Right Bro
Sorry, but that was a okay review. Please be OD instead of copy cat nonsense. The guy's voice is a drone drowning whatever content value you wanted to create.
This review is total nonsense. The only real adventure tourer was the himalayan. it is purposely made to tackle offroad and harsh conditions.
How you got 570km range on himalayan? My friend has one and he only rides it economically under 70kmph.even on highway he is not getting 30kmpl..actual average he is getting for bs4 is 26 -27. Your mileage figures seems to be fake.for adv 390 also its not the actual figure.
All their mileage figures are from dream world. Serious journalism lol
Reason .... 1Himalayan = 2×Xpulse,1 KTM =3×Xpulse,1BMW= 4×Xpulse,1tiger = 4×Xpulse
But you all guyzzzz compared with XPulse....
"thank you for inviting me to your Ted talk..." 😂😂👍👍
I need an upgrade from my Darling 150cc Honda Dazzler and wanted something that was comfortable to sit on,Cruise at 100km/h,decent luggage options, can be taken Offroad slowly, have mileage of 30plus at least and can be ridden easily in bumper 2 Bumper traffic for hours ,Easily avilable cheap spares so far i can only think of Duke 250 BS 6 with offroad tyres and zana saddle stay and top rack with shaad box any suggestions
Go for Himalayan ❤👍👍👍 it can do it All. Mine Himalayan is beauty 👍
If ADV then Xpulse but if has more Budget the Dominar 400 OR If More More Budget then KTM 390 ADV
Xpulse 200. Affordable.
I could do better offroading than this on an activa!
I have Duke 390 slipper clutch edition the time when Sagar did that video on power drift.Have been many many times to Leh spiti killar sach pass and many more terrains trust me DUKE 390 is unmatchable machine.
Serious journalism?? Irony of it!!
Oi wait, they never concluded that the 390 is better than the Himalayan or not. They wussed out.
100% true gs310 is far better than ktm...
Power is not only the factor u require in a adventure bike
43kmp 2 litre?
Buy Himalayn if don't fast 100 kmph simple. Best. From all wish xpulse had 350 cc engine it would have beaten up Himalayan
Guys Don't buy Royal Enfield bikes , the quality issues will make you go the workshop more often, Rather opt for Ktm ADV.
@@BhaveshGauns well that may not me true i too was like you , always cursing royal Enfield about quality , i used to always find ways to give hate to re bikes
But trust me
When ride my brother Himalayan in uttrakhand i just bought it without any 2nd thought , remember every bike has its own character , but RE is doing good with its r&d
And for its price point you can not get an adv or parallel twin bikes
YUP BRO PEOPLE ONLY COME TO KNOW WHEN THEY BUY OWN SAME GOES FOR ME AS WELL I USED TO CALL THEM VIBRATORS BUT WHEN I RODE BS6 HIMALAYAN THE ENGINE WAS PRETTY REFINED AND VIBRATIONS WERE MINIMAL.
@@BhaveshGauns You are Right Bro
@@jaipuriteujjwal7947 it just come to one thing Quality , what you pay is what you get , cheap dats it, i just bought an KTM Adv 390 which is way superior den ur twins so called any day. KTM engines are reliable.
Now a days any car/bike wins battle with electronic gadgets 😂😂. Someday ktm will bring nokia snake games and it be selling point for Overdrive 😂😂😂. Man when you drive off road Or on road the only thing matter is what it feels to ride. I have worked for rural electrification i know what off roading means.
Too many ads....
Himalayan is a tank. Strong and reliable. It may not be quick as the other bikes but speed is subjective.
I am born in middle class family...my royal Enfield make me a royal. ... Himalayan 😻😻🙌🙌
HI , i test drove the KTM adventure 390 today and then bmw g310gs. The performance of g310gs felt very poor in comparison . I have a moderate riding experience primarily with royal enfields only. I am scared and excited with the performance of KTM adventure 390 , the gearing will take sometime to get used to . I am disappointed with the quality and service of Royal Enfields , should I still go for Himalayan and compromise or with the KTM. My rides will mostly be to the hills near chandigarh and normal roads. Please suggest
Ktm 390 adventure is stilll more of a sports bike than adventure. Make sure u alert your buttocks before sitting on ktm adv. What is the use of name adventure if suspension is weak
KTM SPONCERED VIDEO/AD. No cons of KTM 390 adv and a mileage of 43kmpl. Overdrive viewers are not "FOOLS".
Ye off-road tha ya mazak?
Lol..true..
Bhai itna over acting.... Why... After watching whole video still don't understand which is better... If I would have ur place I guess I would have done better job.... Looks like both of you under pressure of your boss in last....
Please give honest review we spend our hard earn money to see ur circus...
After watching this I only understand start with xpulse or Himalaya and once ur pocket is heavy then go really advanced adventure bike... Not gs , not ktm....any how thanks for doing time pass on weekends... And pls don't make carbs video again....
I like classic 350 reviewers hate classic 350 ... And I don't even like sitting position on ktm but reviewers love that
Why u complaining about Xpulse switchable abs? How u got ktm 390 adv 40+ mileage?
Serious journalism?
390 giving 43kmpl overall??? Wow...my duke 390 never got that FE.
Shittiest review till now
Some reviewer's say Xpulse is better in the city while others say Himalayan is better. I have not driven the Xpulse but took a short test drive of the Himalayan. At city speeds I always had to be in either 1st or 2nd gears. So who will give an unbiased opinion of which is better?
BMW GS-310...made in india...for indians...with deep pockets?Yet its light wiggles.Priced like a BMW yet not even made like TVS...why BMW?
Your review is exactly like man ki bath
Happy to see some bad acting and promotion after corona.
Wait, is this Overdrive or Bollywood?
I have a question, which bike after a long ride will , still keep you wanting to ride more.(highway wind blast , vibration, engine heat) of the above lot
390 ADV
In my experience, the 390 adv.
Go with 390 Adv ! Blindly. And keep riding riding riding.
guys guys chill🖐 don't think to much ok, every bike is not perfect and in this case all the bike is ok for adventure the real case is money ok😂 just buy which comes to your budget it is fine🖐 you'll get use to it and it is worth it, don't think to much guys just pick which comes to your budget 😊 you'll get use to it ❤
You missed the best bike...
Mahindra Mojo.
Quality and ride
M a proud well-wisher of #Xpulse200 , Hero's magnifeciant contribution to India's offroad genre.
If Honda isn't interested to introduce the street legal #CRF250 to India, I ll b happy with this #Hero 's gift to our nation.
Himalayan always Best
Ktm 390 adventure owner here, the seat is f***king hard man.Whats the point of adventure if u can't drive comfortably. I regret buying this bike just because of comfort factor
while showing the BMW
i think there is a mistake that you guys write it 500 rpm rather than 5000 rpm
do check it guys
RE Himalayan -400cc(2.34L)
KTM Adv. - 390(2.98L)
BMW GS - 310 (3.49L)
By comparing ex-showroom price now you get answer for comparison....
Both power to weight and torque to weight ratio is a lower on the Himalyan compared to KTM and BMW. Maybe RE can improve here.
@@DJ_Dhawz hope I still have teeth by the time RE gets more power or loses weight...
@@skg901 Haha... Maybe a 650 adventure. Again, It will be heavy. Or RE can try a DOHC engine on the Himalayan.
390 adventures avrg 43 Kmpl & GS310 33kmpl it's mistake or its true
Great comparison. I like these comparison videos. If only that KTM wasn't so orange. 😂
is Himalayan tank painted?Seems Rockred one painted later.
Dont buy ktm it stops and starts automatically while u r riding
Try by adding premium fuel. Should solve the problem
Oh god, what a boring and sloppy. Slowest 5 min of my day.
KTM guy definitely read his bike's manual.
Got it about 2 months ago.....done 2500 kms....i tell you...power is more than enough....its crazy light n nimble ..so lovely to flick around..... does good at highway speeds....120kmph ish easily..... beautiful suspension n you can really put thru the trails..... not just good for new riders but I think a great weapon for experienced mature riders too.....compliments my other ride Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 perfectly (done 50k kms on it already) ..jus love it
Those FE figures are bollocks! especially for the Himalayan. 25 kmpl is the real world FE!
This video is a joke ! Serious journalism goes down the drain.
If I am to judge between these bikes right off the bat for their dirt capabilities, I would always go with the one with the biggest tyres diameter.
Little complicated for highway tours tho.
BMW clutch lever, RIP
u know off-roading is done standing up right? that's how the KTM adv works 🤷🏼♂️
The only helpful thing I got from the video is a 75ltr Invictus Ride Marshall Tank Bag.. now I am seraching for one with the same capacity but different brand as I don't believe anything they say or use 😅😝
Like watching things I can't buy and don't need right now.
Its GS >>> 390
You guys missed many variables
I like x pulse
Impressive compared bw all bikes like off-road,, adventure and other throttle expressions of those bikes
I like reviewe bw bs6 rtr 140 4v all roads,, and conditions
worst ever script 😂 An auto journalist saying that he has wasted his time riding motorcycles 🤣 and his attitude at last 🤦🏻♂️. never give biased reviews, take time , test well, do proper scripting and not a stupid joke.
