I like his desire to break out from playing on a console and learning about tech and pc building. I always tell my daughter there’s a difference in being just a consumer versus actually learning how tech works
what is so valuable about building a pc? there is nothing. just spending money and then you see your child hanging the whole fucking time in front of. yipieee… new generation of computer zombies.
@@spamiser8991 so you're saying there's no value in getting your child into technology in a hands-on way in a time where it's found all around the world instead of just buying a console and having them do the same thing? you're a sad person lol
This touched me a bit. My uncle taught me almost all I know about computers and electronics. He helped me build my first pc. I'm glad you had an amazing father's day mate. You and little dude are a good pc building pair.
Nice day in the life video! Found your channel researching this jet engine turbine case to replace a giant under-the-desk CoolerMaster Stormtrooper for the PC my sons and I just built! I'll probably add an ASUS Aura compatible fan in the back to throw lights along the wall. Working side by side is a great way to spend time with your kids, hope you all make more excellent memories in the future!
I love how you bring life to older components. Like the GT series gpus. It just makes you think. Hey maybe it's not that bad after all. I mean I wouldn't know because my high end pc but that's why I watch you.
Getting some Corsair 380T vibes off this case. Super cool that it has the glass front panel thing though, even though the curved windows are likely just polycarb(makes sense since curved TG would be extremely expensive to manufacture). Great video, keep up the wholesome content @ModsTek
lol to funny I bought this case a few days ago for a friend in work ..He wanted a case that was different hahaaha . Me and a other coworker put in the parts to build a pc for him I got a new mombo and this case and had a SSD for him and a m.2 and a cpu cooler and the other guy got him a 650 watt gold psu and also he got a ryzen cpu a 1700 for $130 and as I also give him my evga gtx 1050ti ssc that I had form a old hpc build as everyone know gpus prices are crazy the gtx 1050ti can hold him over until he saves for a gpu .This going to be a starter PC so he can game a little and he is in 3rd year of collage he will do his coding on a desktop .. We told him to spend his money on a 2 monitors he is getting two 28" dells 160 hrz and a desk and a keyboard and a mouse ..Best part all three of us are going to build the pc together ! . As a Dad building pc or working the a car/truck with my son Or fishing and just spending a day hanging out are the best days ever
@@modstek Awesome...do you have some average numbers on under heavy load? I know it's mega specific. I'm just looking to know what I'm getting into when building it myself X)
If you can - keep an eye out for Xeon E3 1270 V2's on eBay, I picked up one for my server for under £30, and performance is about on par with a 3770K, granted you can't overclock, would make a great upgrade if you can get one for cheap. Don't look buy it now, keep your eye on ones on auction, since they're Xeons they get overlooked and you can get 3770K performance for less than a 3rd of the price.
I saw this case a while back on Banggood, and now it's even cheaper on Amazon. I would love to get it, but it just don't have enough HDD/SSD ports (I got 4 HDDs and 2 2.5 SSDs).
There's plenty of room to put hard drives in there if you don't need them in bays you can just double side tape them down or take bays out of an older pc.
I love the video but I don't like the case because it has temper glass. I hate temper glass, I wish they had a plexiglass choice. Plus the fact that the case should have cost half of $ 109.00.
wait did i just see a pc build in 2022 with a super old i5-3470 with ddr3 ram and what a 1030 with 2GB vram? No way... this is really not up to date hardware. in 2022 I would have built something with a I5-12600K + 16GB DDR4 + RTX 3070 in such a cool gaming case. Seriously > get something uptodate for your son

And I'm the big kid in our house ☺

Always satisfying to welcome a new pc user
That is a pretty cool, and unique PC case. Happy Father's Day.
Thank you and all you as well
Good for you and son, I did this past month with my son (help friend upgrade AIO/ID cooling 240 on 5600X)
You’re doing a great job! 😃
Cool stuff.
Really a channel with a great content.
Thank you
you two are cool

I really like the futuristic style of the case but it looks like it's ganna take up a lot of room.
wholesome!

I love this it sounds like fun build and a happy coworker
i can see you've raised your kids right
Paint it up like a barrel and you could have a bar themed build
Love this case!
Cool looking case, unfortunately the thermals aren’t so good.
Very wholesome content indeed. Cool stuff... What's your experience with it in terms of thermals?
Thermals are great it's been running ever since he finished it no problems.

I've unsubcribed from ltt and subscribed here .Because your videos are so helpful.keep it up💯
"but cooler" yes.
I was just watching this video and for a moment, the person talking sounded like Dave Chapelle.
First time I got the Chapelle comparison even though I love Dave's comedy.
😂 It looks like a speaker but cooler 💀💀💀 Classic
How are the temps? it might be a 200m fan but the front intake only has a small mesh and its mostly glass
i know this was a while back.. but a 1030? c-mon!

It's only gone up, it's ~$130 now!
. i build for customer but i hate that case because of side are plastic panels easily to get scratched
Should polish up nicely with the Novus 7xxx 3 stage polish tho
It is pretty can I have it
