Holy fuck! This is the best live Deicide I’ve ever heard. The Hoffmans rule.
That guitar tones, damn, perfect sound for Deicide.
Hoff bros only used solid state amps I believe
Eric Hoffman, Glen Benton, Brian Hoffman, Steve Asheim
The best formation
@@zeezeejat Yeah, the original. But I like Kevin Quirion, Jack Owen and Chris Canella. Ralph Santolla was a badass guitarist, the solo for Homage for Satan is fuckin catchy. But Deicide with the Hoffman brothers are the best lineup ever.
@@TheSatanist13 I knew Trevor was a metalhead
@@mephistopheles7545 I met Glen, Steve once. I would dress as Glen wearing a Harley Flannel and an inverted cross into my forehead
The TRUE, one and only fucking Deicide.

Holy shit this is such a crisp, clear recording. It doesn't look or sound recorded, I feel like I'm actually there in the crowd! DEICIDE!!!
This was when death metal was death metal.....the Hoffman bros. are still my fav death metal guitar duo too
mine as well bro. they carved a groove into tech death. death died when suzuki left vital remains. technical death had no eclipse to crest past dave tho.
i wouldn't care but my radio! young'ns : this is hard and fresh, "um ok, i don't..." no it's the best. listen..; not impressed. ok, now listen to mine...
it's crazy how many Deicide fans are huge enthusiast fans of Eric&Brian! they fuckin kick ass, killer stage presence, raw tight tone, deadly looking guitars, and infernal complex solos!
Such a bummer that Glen and the Hoffman Bros had a falling out.. This was such a good lineup for Deicide
glen was canceled. by metal culture. oh so now metal culture is a thing. i fucken hate tik tok. it a thing if our shpere of influence.
meanwhile at the gates slaughter of the soul
@@tonyb7615 huh? lol hoffmans couldn't tour after the bust, stfu goofball
The perfect guitar tone for death metal -- tight, scooped-mids, cranked bass and treble, and gain cranked to "heavy as hell" levels! It's like being plugged into a Boss Metal Zone pedal on steroids! Also love how they very abruptly and suddenly end songs and keep changing up those tight, killer riffs.
I think they use a metal zone to boost the amps they use and they scooped mids and everything like you said and i love the tone so much. The metal zone gets so hated because people dont know how to use it correctly half the time😭 i have a metal zone and it took me a while to get it sounding really good
Too fizzy because of that Metal Zone.
BRUTAL ! so much beyond most of the wannabe-heavy bands today .
OH, and did I mention it : Fuck Deathcore !!! old school deathmetal and grindcore for the win !!
Damn Hoffman bros. guitars are vicious! Insane work on the serpents album.
that guitar sound is perfect
I LOVE THIS BAND......been a fan since their first album \m/\m/.
That is a drummer who has self love for his part in the band.......precision.......
You’re gonna flip out when you here he also writes a large portion of the music and has even solo’ d on later records.
Killer snare drum sound!
Sounds abit St Anger to me
one of best videos of Deicide that I watched on RUclips
very good sound guy! and good deicide with the hoffmans as allways!
One of the best concerts I've seen from them.
long live the original lineup
I remember when Legion came out. I was blown away, so fucking wicked. Soon after that release, I saw them live on their Smash of the Mutants tour in Pumpehuset, Copenhagen. I lost my hair that night but have no regrets. Was fucking epic.
2 years since your comment and nobody asked how you lost your hair :p
@@truedoh2831 I swiveled whilst smoking. 🙈
Was a good spliff though.
That spliff caught all your hair in fire?
best live replay of there classics.i love how steves drumming is so dam precise that of the records......The best.
Amazing performance. I got into Deicide when I was 16 and now 20 years on I still listen to them every week. Glen I met you once back in Bradford/England. I will always remember how cool a guy you were.
Deicide you will always remain at the top.
🍻
i met a tall dark dutch girl. her name is maria. she did flame stunts at the time. she hated glenn. i believed her. at the same time, i will remember her 1st. it was back b4 simps and apps that get u banned
she could look like cheese. i wouldnt care. that share
it was 20 years ago
I really like that Surfers Of Delight song.
Hahaha
hahahahahahaha
heyhey! Respect te drummer, mister Steve Asheim.
The best performance of once upon the cross I've seen thus far
1. They Are The Children OF The Underworld
2. Bastard Of Christ
3. Bible Basher
4. Lunatic Of Gods Creation
5. Serpents Of The Light
6. Sacrifical Suicide
7. Once Upon The Cross
8. Deicide
9. Dead But Dreaming
10. When Satan Rules His World
11. Dead By Dawn
12. Mephistopheles
This is Better than the Deicide's official DVDs... better band, better sound.
Deicide is probably my favorite old school death metal combo, & I think that it's down to Glen Benton's vocals-- he isn't absurdly guttural; he barks & screams, but rarely does he sound like the Cookie Monster belching up beer fumes. There are more colours to his vocals than is typical in the genre. And his voice is in fine form at this gig. Utterly compelling.
a vox guy. vital remains bro..
the combo is glen and bro.s. vital remains is the shit for u
Great document from that era. Hail old Deicide
The Hoffmans are the shit I fucking miss them in Deicide I really hope they start a new band or something they are phenomenal guitar players and need to be in a band playing, writing and recording........ Eric's ironbird is so killer with a khaler tremolo and Brian's Beast is a Beast B.C. Rich and the Hoffman's go together like Satan and hell
man I wish I could have seen Deicide during this line-up !
I am glad I did. Three times.
best live deicide show recorded ever.
just brutal,,hail old deicide
actually the drummer has written 95% of the riffs since the beginning believe it or not
HOFFMANS RIPPING!!!!!!! Whole band crushing here! Steve snare pinging!!!
I saw Deicide right around this time at a tiny club and it changed me forever. Fucking brutal it was!
Probably their best live vid
They just announced they are doing the 30th anniversary tour for Legion, but they will not have the Hoffman brothers who made the album sound as great as it does.
The heaviest Death Metal guitars I've ever heard.
I am so proud to say I saw the TRUE Deicide at Exit/In in Nashville on the Scars tour. Ran into Glen at merch. Eric looked like fucking Sabretooth on stage. So clean, so precise. So Deicide.
I caught the scars tour as well. Harpo's, Detroit.
the sound quality live is amazing \m/
Listen to when satan lives (deicide live album). Its unbelievable how god was the sound...
coz they travel to the tours with their own equipment....In a plane just for them...
an argument about shares broke between Hoffman bros and Glen & Steve. they parted their ways, the Hoffmans reactivated their old project called Amon and have released an album this year.
Really great job
There’s no Deicide without Hoffman bros.
Totally agree.
Well actually they do still tour ( a fat ray quote ) you know biff named him that *)
Definitely
Right...? It's like Krisiun without Kolesne
I do prefer Hoffman Deicide but they are still awesome without them. STEVE.
This is like watching mike tyson prime time
Drooling over that Ironbird
Gotta respect the courageous documentary-style cameraman.
Eric's guitar cuts out right at lead point.. Sick timing on re entry🤘🥃🥃
Dat snare
They brought back their old name of Amon and came out with an album. I got mine signed and sent from Eric.
No cabe duda que esta es la Banda más potente del planeta. Los ví tocando en el Estadio Obras junto a Ratos De Porão y Cannibal Corpse, en los 90' y siempre mantuvieron esa potencia! AGUANTEEEEE!!!!!
great show
i was there, an amazing gig
simplemente geniales estas majestades satánicas!!!
The real Deicide, more powerful 🤘
luv this Deicide
6:44 I hear a kid's voice, so I'm allowed to go to a Deicide show
St Anger snare in the house. Otherwise \m/
this is fucking awesome thanks for the upload ! \m/
Gracias a Dios por éste concierto tan hermoso.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol
The hoffman brothers Rule, Their sound is so fucking heavy , mmmmmmmmmmm
Quel bonne époque merci au frère Hoffmann Steven et Glen 🎼🇫🇷🎼🤘
Super!!!
Awesome. HAIL DEICIDE!!!!!!!
I thought so. I sort of remember reading that a million years ago...
Legend
Melhor formação ... Deicide
Qual é a formação?
Man, Steve is flying here...awesome.
Demonic guitar riffs are the best, most exciting, funniest and coolest riffs.
fantastici!!!
Yeah just booked to see this fucking awesome band at underworld camden in march cant fucking wait
That Ironbird and that kickass version of Sacrificial Suicide ^-^
DEICIDE BEST BAND EVER........
amazing
great BC RICH guitars... I wish I have a Ironbird like that one..man, I'd kick some ass.
I saw "Legion" played live at Brutal Assault 2023. The brothers were missing, definitely. I mean in the sound and vibe. Such a pity to break up this perfect human machinery.
Drums sound good af!
Hoffman brothers are beasts, Glen rules the world!!!!!
TURN IT UP
legion and deicide r all consuming. the best band ever
they wrote and released an album called "Liar in Wait" under the name Amon
Glen Benton roars like a hellish beast.
36:30 Best Jake "The Snake" Roberts impression I have ever heard
Haha. He looks a bit like Jake, too. Jake Roberts, in the middle. Kevin Nash, to the left. A skinny Stone Cold, to the right.. And Edge, on the drums! :) Yes, I am drunk.
lmao
Masters.
great fucking band and music. love this shit so much!
I lmao when Glen Benton yells "TURN IT ALL UP" the crazy look in his eyes when he said it looks funny as shit
golden era, hear that freight train!
Deicide é fooodaaaaaaa
Hail Amon and Deicide!
hoffmans > jack owen and the new guy
keith merrow \m/
Agreed! but this is still really fucking nice to see while I am at work
They write better songs for deicide but Jack is better and the Cannibal songs he wrote are way better than Hoffman songs
@@rathernot3839 now that is a true death metal blasphemy. Nothing can compare to Legion. So, people will tear down your monuments.
darwinism14 k
DEICIDE !!! 🤘👹🤘🔥🔥🔥
@StrainLover420:Your absolutely right,I was once one of them rebelling teenagers & hated everything & I'm now 35 & grown out of it but I still love the music I'm just not angry at the whole world anymore lol.
Hell yes!
such a killer show!
December 22nd, 2003. 10 Years after the release of Scars of The Crucifix
