yesterday i went for an interview.. I'm in BCA final year.. Out of 40 students there was bca, mca and btech also.. and first round they conducted a coding round, gave 5 problems to code and i solved all of the problems within 40 minutes.. then they selected 14 to 16 students out of 40 for the final interview round.. And due to learning things so practically i lacked for theoretical knowledge at interview and while watching your video i am relating things with your experience.. and i know where i am lacking and where I've to improve.. thanks Raj da
Same i cracked dsa for microsoft almost coded today 2rounds But last 20min of 2nd round they asked about computer networks theories and operating system And after so many yrs of graduation i literally don't remember. Ultimately not selected
5.3 CGPA here. Hey Striver, I wish I had a friend like you during my BTech. I completed BTech in [2009 during the recession period ]. No job. First 3 months I don't know what I was doing in home. I'm not good in DSA I don't even know what those are actually. I tried attending BPOs', Technical support and other small companies who can benifit by hiring me[LOL]. I even took a job in marketing and left in 1 Month. Here I took decision to join JAVA course in NIIT hoping they will refer to companies. I still remember I use to stay awake until 12 AM and learn java concepts and I use to go to NIIT moring 11 and leave @7PM doing practice there only because I don't have laptop/desktop with me, that the reason I use to spend most of the time in NIIT labs. Eventually I become trainer not officially. My job is to help people during their lab works, if they don't understand or stuck then I jump into solve problem for them. I kept the motivation on and hoping once the market is re-stored from recession I might get into a company. Like that 11 Months passed. Then slowly market was re-storing and hiring was going on I attended interview through consultancy[This consultany is so popular that they train people and call mnc companies, but you have to pay 50K if you get selected, I said OK], Then that's it I got selected, the company wanted job ready java developer with Structs framework touch, I trained myself in NIIT as well as this consultancy. There are 2 rounds 1. Aptitude, 2. no DSA only java syntax related and structs2 framework related and 3rd is not actually a round[HR interview all people combined] Then bam I got an offer, Then I informed consultancy people that I don't even have 5.5CGPA they were like WHAT..? She said give me time to talk to HR and she said HR is fine with 5.3 as well[LOL]. I joined my first company[MNC] with 2.4LPA/Annum. Today I've close to 12 years of experience I learned DSA during my job[LOL] and now I'm currently working as Data Engineer in JP Morgan.
Your journey shows us that if we work hard and hustle.. no matter how tough the journey is ultimately we will be in a good place, congrats and best wishes to you sir👍
Hey Striver, I really appreciate your hard work for providing such a good content. Just wanted to make a request for creating a seperate SYSTEM DESIGN playlist from scratch because your way of explaining things is really amazing.
Your video's really motivate me to do my best... Your graph and tree series has really helped me understanding the concepts and your live streams are just to great. Really appreciate your work...
This is truly inspiring bhaiya. 2 months ago , I was broken after getting rejections from multiple companies and then I read about your Microsoft rejection in a codeforces article and then I got motivated and started coding again and got cleared my next interview of Amazon . You are truly amazing 😇
Thank you for motivating me. Recently, I wasn't shortlisted by EY. Although my exam went well, I didn't make it past the first round. My mind feels stuck, and I’m struggling with feelings of failure and a loss of hope. For the past two days, I’ve been asking myself, “Why me?” But then I found your video, and it inspired me. I’m now determined to give it my best shot. I plan to come back and update you on my progress and the approach I take once I secure a job. Thanks again for the encouragement!❤❤❤❤
This is so so so assuring! A beautiful journey. Afterall, one's success journey is not a sprint it's a marathon. It's beautiful how over the time you kept improving, didn't make any excuse and got so better that you got such great great offers. And kudos to takeu forward as this is one of the best channels if one needs to get concepts of the DSA clear in their head!
Today was my interview after passing the online exam. The job role was for Java Developers but I am into web designing with some basic knowledge of Core Java. The HR told me on screening time that yeah we can hire you as we will train you after you get selected. So I gave the Technical Interview and I got selected for the next interview which was another Technical Interview of some managerial round. I gave the second interview at the same day(today). And It went for an hour and ten minutes. In the last the manager told me that yeah although you are very good in frontend but we are looking for developers. I tried to convince him that I can work on it in my training period. But I received a rejection mail after an hour of my interview😑😑😑. I am sharing it because your video just filled me up with so much energy tow work as hard as I can until I get placed into any good company. Thanks man for sharing such an amazing video.😊😊😊
I had my rejection today from a huge company. I also come from a tier 3 college as you but i'm not as good as you in tech stuff. It fels like you were talking to me directly when you said, "hum tier 3 walon 100 opportunities nahi milta hai par jab wo ek milega naa, usey dono hathon se pakdna hai. Jaane nahi dena hai." Felt it. Thank you bhaiya. It's such a blessing to have people like you areound, even tho its all online. Thank you so much.

Congrats on getting an offer from both Google Warsaw and Facebook London. 1 question - do they give you visa to go there and work or are you working from home now?
Got rejected and was feeling really low today, but after listening to you I feel really motivated to work on myself, Find the reasons of my rejection and make sure my skills won't lack for the next time. Thank you striver. ♥️
