So finally got my Milltek Sport Catback Exhaust installed on my MK8 (last Wednesday) and wow !! this video does not do justice on how good it actually sounds ! super stoked you guys made this video and I ended up with this system on my car really nice exhaust sounds and my two little girls 4 and 1 year olds love it haha
Are you automatic or manual? I want to know if I’ll get the dsg farts out of this exhaust t
@@THEGR8MK8_2.0T I have the milltek exahust installed with opf, the sound gets deeper, and also the pops gets louder but if you are looking for the dsg farts, you will have to install an downpipe. Cheers.

Sounds so good! Wondering if this is neighbour-friendly? Looking for a catback that has deeper rumble but only a bit louder than stock.
Road+ would be very neighbor friendly - the race would however not be on cold start haha!

Quick question is the car specced with Adaptive Cruise Control? Not sure if the manuals can get it. My car has it and I am trying to figure out whether lowering my car will cause it to stop working.
Ours does have it! Not sure if it still works or not yet. We can find out and let you know!
I had adaptive cruise on my MK7, lowering springs DID NOT upset the ACC, however I have heard it sometimes can. I think it can be a bit of a lottery. There are independent garages that will do the recalibration a lot cheaper than VW though if worst comes to worst!

Yes!

with the factory downpipe, its not insane, but there is a slight amount.

In this video yes, we now have the Milltek Downpipe on the car as well and will have an update video out this week!

Is the car completely stock like engine wise? Like in the stock exhaust it popped a lot once u let off gas. Is that oem?
In this video yes! They do that from the factory in sport mode.

One great thing about this exhaust is its "modularity" you can run it with a muffler or without, without having to buy a whole new setup. You can also run quad tips! Its all personal preference but were big fans of the Milltek systems!
Will the Milltek down pipe work with other exhausts? AWE in particular ?
we will be able to confirm that fitment later this week when we test the AWE!
