Clifftop on Park is a beautiful, original Tasmanian shack, perched high on the bluff above the cliffs overlooking Park Beach, Dodges Ferry, Tasmania.
Boasting spectacular views, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor bath (with ocean views), multiple living spaces, patios, decks, a fire pit AND surfboards… this luxurious Tassie shack was a truly incredible experience.
As soon as you step through the door, you are transported, nurtured and spoiled beyond measure.

The view is simply stunning, and it’s amazing the way the cliff-hugging patio maximizes the experience. That over-the-shoulder sunrise view of the ocean “waving” hello (3:46) is the perfect testament to the natural beauty surrounding the property.
Luxuriant interior furnishings and touches (the term “shack” is such a misnomer) create a warm and welcoming feeling, making those floor-to-ceiling windows in the “sun/sitting corner” the perfect location to appreciate every aspect of the amazing qualities of the clifftop location. And, as this time period was during my formative years, I can attest that the retro features are truly authentic, if not original to the home. Plus, another outdoor bath, completely keeping with the late 60s/early 70s vibe.
The house is indeed flooded with natural light, not only offering excellent views of its surroundings, but also creating a bright and cheerful living experience, and the numerous succulents and houseplants are a nice touch. And you have touched on the perfect solution to minimizing meal preparation chores: charcuterie for breakfast, lunch and dinner! A perfect way to enjoy the location and take advantage of the complimentary condiments.
I notice your sporting tee shirts and hoodies during the shoot, as well as building a rip roaring fire in the copper fire pit, so there must be quite the temperature differential during your stay at this time of year: crisp mornings and evenings with splendidly warm days for walks on the beach, enjoying the patio and surfing…truly a perfect location. Thanks for bringing us along.

I need to hire you as my script writer, your words are pure poetry! :) Ys, the patio area really makes the stay I think! haha yes, shack does make you think old and original. this has just been lovinghly restored! Exactly, the temp varies here alot. For example its snowing here today, and a week ago it was about 30 celcius... Crisp mornings and evenings, with warm days is common for us this time of year.
