The color is called Falu rödfärg (Red paint from Falun). Falun is a town in the middle of Sweden and there is a very old copper mine. From copper-poor ore that has weathered for centuries, "red dust" is formed, which in addition to copper contains a rare combination of iron ocher, silicic acid and zinc. And that is used to make the paint. The pain is common on houses in the whole of Sweden.

O wow. It's perfect! I lived in Sweden for a couple of years and I can confirm that is quintessentially Swedish❤

It looks lovely. I love banquet window seats. I personally wouldn’t want the tub and would need my bed on the main level. Something to consider for anyone planning their own home…the bathroom sink would not work for me as it doesn’t give my arms room when washing my face etc. They’d be hitting the walls. Definitely not for more than a vacation without storage/closet space.
