There seems to be skepticism amongst investors regarding the Federal Reserve's plan to continue increasing interest rates until inflation is stabilized. As for myself, I find myself at a crossroads, uncertain whether to liquidate my $150,000 stock portfolio. I'm seeking advice on the best strategy to capitalize on this current bear market.

You have to get a financial-advisor/broker to aid you diversify your portfolios to include commodities, inflation-indexed bonds and stocks of companies with solid cash flows, as opposed to growth stocks where valuations were valuations were based on future potentials earnings.

I agree, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or hold. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points , I've accrued over $550k from an initially stagnant reserve of $150K all within 14months.

The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. $52k dividends received in 2022.

Jeremy Grantham is quite right in being concerned about climate change, getting through the aging of the global population, and inequality. For the Fed to price time (to use Edward Chancellor's book title) close to zero for so long, we are poorly positioned for solving the big problems ahead.

i'll say high rates, inability to purchase the first home, and expensive childcare the number 1 problem for young couple to bear a child => aging population => shrinking both future consumption and productivity

Buffett is a corrupt mean spirit individual. He is a perma bull on the USA but most investors can’t do what he does.
He buys shares large enough to put his people on the board of directors then cuts costs aggressively, fires a lot of people, pushes for stock buy back & of course he makes money but the customers & employees suffer.
Look at companies he is a major owner & they are bunch of corrupt organizations cheating their customers like Wells Fargo Bank.
By the way if you look at his history he did not make a lot of money until 1980 when money printing & deficit spending started in the USA.
Buffet is a perma bull because the policies of the FED has benefited him personally.

So he thinks Climate Change is the biggest issue of our time and yet Obama's former Chief Scientist in the US Dept of Energy, Steven Koonin says in his recent book Unsettled, that overall, the earth is 0.3 degrees cooler today that it was in 1900.

I encourage everyone to play the “Jeremy Grantham game” google his name and a year, 2020, 2021 ect… and hear his perpetual bear market call. Crescendo was his call in mid 2020 that we were in a “super bubble” where the S/P loses another 50%. Crazy he has a shred of credibility. The only one who is and has been guaranteed to be wrong is this fine gentleman.
