This was supposed to come out on Saturday but RUclips held on to it for review. I have since used this machine a few times and have settled for now on 33%
I have had one for a little over a year. Works great. I heat the brass until I can just see it glowing red in a dark room, then it drops. I get very consistent results.
You may already know this, but you don't want to get your brass glowing red hot. For bigger cases (.30-06, .308, 257 Roberts, etc.), Jeff Buck (the guy who makes these) recommends about 5-6 seconds in the flame and no longer. For smaller brass (.223, .22-250, etc.), he recommends 3-4 seconds.
You can get an adapter to fill those little tanks from a grill tank for like 10 bucks on eBay or amazon. Adds up over time, since it costs about 10% as much as buying little tanks every time.
@@EagleReloads find “ gun blue 490” channel his video about annealing. Browse brass industry info about annealing, reloading videos on RUclips gives a lot of false info. Overheating brass reduce your brass life and can be dangerous to shoot.
@@EagleRun23 You are correct. Jeff himself said that he had so much difficulty getting propane tank hoses that he went with the much simpler muffler clamp to hold the tank. It also allowed him to keep the price point at $275 to counter the last two years of inflation.
@@sheaffergrubbs6056 So what smart a$$ comment was that? Ti works great and I have annealed a couple thousand so far.... Maybe you should put a pan full in your oven and put it on self clean.
FYI if you are looking for an Anealeeze I have two.. I got 2 for Xmas... Contact me if you are looking to save some bucks... The machine does work great.

Got one :) thank you sir! Have not used it yet though!
if you see brass change color under fire to silver - too hot, you burn lead in alloy.
Totally new to annealing, ill get better! haha thanks for the help, many of these were under temp, needed to go hotter from what I learned.

You want to heat the brass until it starts to glow orange and then back off just a bit. About 1050 degrees.
no repartability! Torch position not indexed!
I am!. getting one.
Also useful for making benchtop s'mores. 🔥😅
Good call!
I just got my machine. Will try it over the weekend
how is it going?
@@EagleReloads worked pretty well. Annealed around 70 cases
Hello Eagle!
That is so much different than mine. The numbers are speeds, you can set it up for faster, down for slower.
This is the new gen 3 I think.
@@EagleRun23 mine has the torch head attached to the front and a hose that goes to the tank, I quite like the setup.
@@IWatchedWhat yes I think that was their last model. I think parts availability caused them to move from that design.

Yes
