    This sunscreen blocks Blue light fron phones, blocks pollution from the city that damages your collagen, and blocks UV rays. Plus it is a physical blocker. This arent many suncreens that can do that. Murad has 1 but it is $75.

    Your reviews are always the best and I’m glad for your reminder of believing every market strategy that companies and brands use to lure us in. I simply know I can’t afford colorscience even with codes many You Tubers offer. . I never miss a single review of yours Jo because I know you have sufficiently tested and your 100% honest. Thank you for all you do to help us make the best educated decisions we can when it comes to skincare!💋

    I absolutely love the colorscience face shield. Pricey but beautiful on the face and very effective. Have you reviewed exuviance tinted mineral screen?

    Your hair looks amazing! I always enjoy your reviews and have heard many good things about Colorscience. I had to laugh at your reference to the white cast with the Australian Gold for the body. I haven't experienced that - which tells you how fair I am... apparently that white cast just blends right in.

    I love that you are not easily swayed in your reviews like other YTubers just because you got the products for free. I have the face shield and the 3-in-1 and agree that they are overpriced. I have combo skin and although I like the face shield, I didn't love it for the summer months. The eye product is decent, but I won't be repurchasing either of them.

      Oh interesting! I like the face shield enough to buy it (when it’s on sale lol. Like when dermstore has their 25% off sales hehe-not at full price!). But yes I think it’s definitely best for dry skin! But the eye serum is a definite nope.

      I actually bought the products 20% off, but with the Sephora sale, I recently bought the SUPERGOOP! 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen SPF 40 and would prefer to repurchase this one over CS. :)

    I just tried the face shield. Such a tiny bottle! The color is a little too pink for me (olive with yellow undertones). And I’m used to thicker consistency; this one is matte too. I’ll return mine and try the Eltamd uv physical. Would you say the elta is moisturizing for dry skin?

    How do you think the Total Body sunscreen would work on the face? It's a lot cheaper per ounce than the face sunscreen, so it would be great if it could work on the face.

    The price would not make this fun for me to buy. However, I regularly buy Paula's Choice Wrinkle Defense for $33.00/2 oz. and that is getting up there, too.

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  5 лет назад +1

      Yeah! Paula’s choice started out as an affordable brand but I have thought the prices keep creeping upward! Hmm. I do plan to try their sunscreen sometime though

      It is fragrance free check website

  • @Bataazuu
    @Bataazuu 4 года назад +15

    Be a tad careful... the entire sun forgettable total protection line is fragrance-free which is mentioned on their website like a million times. Tons of people avoid fragrance in their skin care products, so just wanted people to know who watch this review... these products that were mentioned are fragrance-free : )... maybe she is smelling the lip balm she’s wearing??

    • @arielfeasts
      @arielfeasts 4 года назад +1

      yeah that's a pretty strange claim to make without even checking ingredients... scent caused my the actual sunscreen itself is not the same issue as added PERFUME. Also saying these are "cast-free", is a really inaccurate. It's cast free on her, but would not be for plenty of skintones so you can't deem it "cast free".

    • @theclassicalgirl
      @theclassicalgirl 4 года назад +1

      it really does have a scent to it

    • @sarashay27lo1
      @sarashay27lo1 3 года назад +2

      @@arielfeasts The chemicals/silicones in it could have a scent and even if it's not fragrance some ppl don't like that. She said it does leave a white cast on the body shield one which might not be suitable for darker skin tones.

    Do you think it's a bit weird that I am Australian and had never heard of Australian Gold sunscreen before coming across your videos? 🤔

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  5 лет назад +2

      Nope! It’s an American brand. I think bc Aussie is known for the sun what with the ozone situation from the 90s haha, it’s just part of the marketing. Wellll of courseeee the Australians know about sunscreen! Hehe

    i love the total eye sunscreen. i use it simply as a concealer (concealer was the only make up i ever used actually). it is pricy but then again - a regular concealer has 2.5ml container and this has like 7ml. So it is actually quite cheap. But as a standalone sunscreen - i dont use it, i just "top it on" because i love how it looks.

    I see you're being very nice to this company by saying nice things about the products & repeatedly qualifying what you say with "if price weren't a factor," but I mean, being overpriced should definitely go into a review. People care about whether something is good value or a rip-off. I don't even think they're a "luxury" brand; I think they're just overpriced and it's probably because they pay a shitload of money to their marketing people who get their products into fancy dermatologists' offices, the ones that cater to ladies who do laser and other cosmetic procedures. I'm not criticizing you, but I wonder how different the video would be if you had actually paid for these products with your own money that you earned through hard work.

    • @LogicvsLuxury
      @LogicvsLuxury  5 лет назад +7

      True but the only product I would actually buy was the face shield (when it’s on sale!). I was pretty clear about that. The other two I said pretty clearly to pass. I’m not going to say they’re bad products if they’re not. Shrug.

      I spent a couple hundred dollars on Colorescience products. They are not bad, but they are definitely overpriced, seems to be a greedy company.
