In this Story Analysis, we talk about the theme of Global Domination in the Crysis franchise, and how this could play an important role for a Post-Apocalyptic setting, that could potentially be featured in Crysis 4! Yo PythonSelkan, have you considered making a video on armored core 6, there's multiple things in that game that can be attributed to Metal Gear alongside actually building one, for example they have the chaff grenade (called smoke/jamming bomb) in the game which makes almost the exact same noise from MGS. I'm sure there's other stuff that can be pulled away from the game.
We will probably starts hearing this in early 2025 with the release date of 2027 (fingers cross). I hope it's not that FAR because this franchise has so much potential they can even make another Trilogy after this game.
I would prefer a setting with multiple regions and biomes. A Snowy region, Desert, Tropical jungle, destroyed city ruins, etc.... each having an open map for exploration and sandbox gameplay opportunities. Something along the lines of Metro Exodus. I think that game is a great blueprint for Crysis 4. And one more thing that I have been craving to have in a crysis game for over a dacade now is the ability to climb trees and navigating a jungle using the trees. That will quench my thirst of being that ultimate human Predator fantacy that I believe Crysis was always meant to be.
The Crysis series lies amongst my favorite video games of my childhood and I hope we won't have to wait long for the 4th installment to release. Maybe even Crysis 5 after that because in my opinion this series has potential.
I don't see the post-apoc setting working. Earth was saved, in the end, but CELL is still at large. Lockhart survived his death and and his logged as hunting down Nomad who's in hiding. Tying in the secret ending with Psycho and you have a potential plot with the two taking down CELL.
I like your stuff, keep up the good work. What is the better option to play Crysis from 1 to 3 in 2023? I remember having a lot of fun with the first one.
I think Semi-Apocalpyse would be cool; As in the world was devastated and a lot has been shaken up but its not completely 'lawless'; think of hos African nations are when there are civil wars; still got pockets or a nation here and there but its mostly lawless and destroyed. Cause Post Apocalpytic games have been overdone at this point and making it mad-max inspired would just be a Fallout/RAGE/Borderlands rip off. As for environments I think a mix of diverse Biomes would be nice; While I LOVED crisis 1 and 2 being stuck in the same sort of biome does get boring. Maybe even add something new besides deserts; like Marshes or even Ceph Bioms that have been Aqua-formed.
Although the Cell Corporation has been the villain of the games since Crysis 2, the ceph have always been the main antagonists of the game. As for the hero, I don't think it will be Prophet again, there are possibilities of it being Nomad (What makes me believe this is the data log found in Crysis 3 saying: "We found him! We found Nomad!").
@@lgp06 Weren't Ceph defeated by the end of Crysis 3 at least for some time? It could be that we may not see them for a while depends on the time frame.

2027 IS far. Should be releading in 2025. But yeah unfortunately it likely won't.

We should get more Crysis 4 info next year.
We certainly hope so! 🤞
I wonder if Nomad will come back. He’s still around somewhere
I hope they introduce a new protagonist player character
Honestly I always thought we were going to fight in the ceph homeworld
I like your stuff, keep up the good work.

Crysis 2 is very good, you can also play the Crysis 1 DLC

@@MrAntiexistancerifle34157 there could still be other ceph in the solar system or possibly outside it
I remember I played crysis 1 on PS5 for the first time but I dropped it after 30 mins… should I give it a second chance?
You really should! We loved this franchise since first playing it back in 2007, and we can't wait for its return!
