Time lapsed so fantastically that it was kind of an ASMR for me to watch it. I appreciate a lot, the patience and the efforts you have over this hard 2000 pieces puzzle. Congratulations!
The only thing you have to go on with sections like the sky is the puzzle piece shape, you should try and sort the pieces by shape next time it will help out a lot 🥰❤️ good job 🙌🏼
I did that puzzle just this week! Took me about 8 days to finish. I basically used my whole free time to do it. Was finished with the bottem section in just 3 days but the sky took sooooo long, damn. I hate it now :D It's harder than it looks! :D
I did this puzzle a couple of months back and I had a missing piece - never found. Agree the sky was very slow going. I also inverted the puzzle when working on the sky.
Not sure on total time. The puzzle ran into the holidays and we took a break so actual build time became fuzzy. When we start the next puzzle, I'm going to time it.
I honestly can't tell you. The puzzle is hung up in a picture frame. We have been lucky and never lost a piece of the 3 puzzles we have done. I hope you find it!
Nice puzzle. I've been looking for another after I've done my current puzzle which is a 24000 piece made by EDUCA called LIFE. I have roughly 2000 pieces to go.
A long time. It was our first pretty big puzzle. Started before Christmas and we finished it up around end of January, with breaks in that time span.Although, it was the easiest puzzle out of the 3 we did.
@@TodayIWorkOn That's not that bad though, considering it's your first puzzle of 2000 pieces. I'm assembling my first puzzle of 1000 pieces alone now. I've been working on it for four days, but I think it will take another four or five days.
@@TodayIWorkOn Wow!!! Yeah, we worked on this puzzle called Whale of Wisdom by Ravensburger. It was so ridiculously complicated that after about three weeks we gave up. Seriously, it would take us an hour just to fit in 5 pieces...LOL :( Good job on finishing the puzzle even though it was difficult :)
@@TodayIWorkOn but how many weeks? Initially you thought it was going to take you two weeks, would love to know how off your estimate was. By the way, thanks for sharing the video. It was fun to see you successfully complete the puzzle 👍
Okay watching this I’ve realised my puzzle can not be made within the box even for a little bit very fast… First big puzzle ever! Nobody else wants to build with me so just me myself and I
Instead of using the expensive sorting trays, just use rubber maid containers from Walmart. They even come with lids to protect your pieces from spillage and possible loss. My aunt and I atr puzzlers and this is our method. When we are done with the puzzle the containers are wash and used for food storage.
I can understand that picture would be interesting , to an American; but it is mostly grey, blue and purple. Being over 80 years old, I am looking for brighter, more varied colours. That next one is another, that I would avoid, because it has no solid , colourful, features. If you must buy 2000-piece puzzles, try Trefl - a Polish company - which make a couple of more colourful scenes, I do realize that flowers and curtains might not be inyeresting to younger people. For a different challenge , have you looked at the Wasgij 1000-piece series, where the picture on the box is a view from another direction. they require observation and some deduction. During our English covid 19 period , I have done about 3 dozen 500, 1000, 2000 puzzles ; and am fortunate to have a separate room , where I can leave puzzles for a period. Beware, as one gets older , too much time hunched over puzzles can cause backache. Good luck......
I thought you finished the entire puzzle by 9 mins. Dumb me.
Same here, i was ready to have my mouth open for an hour lol
same 😭
It’s a speed
Awesome timelapse. One of the best I've seen.

this was so fun to watch!!
I wish I had a dad who's into puzzles like you.
This puzzle is beautiful. I like this video a lot.:-):-D
Nice work 💜

This video made me want to do exactly this puzzle. It was out of stock in my country but finally I managed to find it!
That's so nice of you to say.
@@TodayIWorkOn It's the truth. Normally, I am not into city landscapes. But this one somehow appealed to me through your video.
I glad you said it was hard, because other people that do those puzzles don't let you know how hard it is.

Now I want a puzzle, but how much memory did that take to record?!?!
I like puzzles. We make jigsaws in family too
I've done that one myself. Took about 3 weeks. That sky was tough and took forever. After I finished it, framed it and hung it on the wall.
Same here. Framed it up and will put it on the wall once my lower level is finished.
So pretty
Sorting by piece shape would have helped you in that sky area.
I also did a timelapse of Brooklyn Bridge puzzles. Mine has only 1500 pieces, but the sky was pretty challenging indeed 😂 Great video and teamwork!
Thanks! Next up is Star Wars... lol
@@TodayIWorkOn good luck! I am currently working on Trefl Nature series. Stunning pictures
Cool puzzle. How long did it end up taking to put together? 🤔

going to time it.
Every language on the box: From Brooklyn to Manhattan
Except English! New York Skyline
Why? 😂
It's a very beautiful puzzle!
the underside of the frame how many pieces are there because i can't find the last pieces

It is better when you puzzle with others. I am the only one in my home who enjoys puzzling.

Its called life, beaucse you have no other life when you do such puzzles?
@@c.5701 Haha true
What software / hardware did you use to record the timelapse?
Back then, iMovie and a garmin virb with iPhone
How long was the entire time to solve this puzzle? It looks really awesome.
It was a while. A 2-3 months with a crazy work schedule and kids.
@@TodayIWorkOn 9 minutes and 14 seconds :) pretty good
So, how long did it take? After y'alls guesses I was wondering who was right

First New York then the world!!!
🥰
Hi I'm new to ur channel good job. I'm staring a postcard collection 550 called hot springs japan
So how long did this take? Days...weeks?
Weeks. The sky was a low point of the build and we became a little discouraged, but we pulled though.

Ravensburger, huh?
The pandemic was responsible for a huge increase in puzzle sales.
