This was AMAZING! To be fair I never really watch time lapse videos with no speaking, but you did such a great job! And your video work with Peter Pan. Excellent job! If I was ever to try a huge puzzle this would be the one! My biggest puzzle so far has been 1500, but I have a couple 2000 and 3000s I want to do.

Okay the cat coming and going is by far my favorite part of this whole thing!! So cute! My cats are not allowed on my puzzles, they steal the pieces! Lol

@@alchemyqueen2764 thank you! I finally have a dedicated puzzle space that I really love! I use 40x60 cm foam board so it's easy to move and store the puzzle if needed (like I had to do with the 40k puzzle!). The big foam boards are a puzzlers life saver! 🥰🧩🧩
@@Addicted2Puzzles I use foam boards too! They are so useful to stack on top of eachother when organizing my pieces and to not take up my whole living room when I am not puzzling 😂

Thank you!! 🧩😊🧩 I actually do take a picture after every few pieces. I started doing that on this puzzle, probably the 3rd section in. There were like 15000 pictures being taken on the timed photos, so I just started taking the pics manually and I thought it looked so cool! It adds a little time to the overall puzzling, but the end result is worth it! I do need to learn some better editing tools though to add some cooler things in! 😎 that's this year's goal! 😊🧩😊

DAMN! A 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle takes me about a week to do and several hours a day of work, so probably at least 20+ hours total. I could NOT imagine how long it would take me to do this puzzle...
Thanks! A week ain't so bad depending on the puzzle! If I had more puzzle time, this monster would have been done faster I think! Depending on the puzzle though, I can usually do 1000-pieces in about 8 hours. I love puzzling! 🧩☺🧩

Hi! Thank you! I guess you could definitely say this is the 1000 subscriber happy dance video! 🥳🥰 The way I do my videos without myself in them, is I just take a picture every 1-3 pieces I place. I started doing it this way instead of just a pic every so many seconds because some of the Disney puzzles were taking so long that I'd have 15,000 pictures! Lol when I saw how it looked without an arm, I thought it just looked way cooler! Hope that helps and I can't wait to see what you come up with! 🥰🧩🥂

What was your "how to tackle this puzzle" process? Any sortings? Do you just randomly pick up pieces and go from there?
I didn't really have a strategy, honestly. I did do the puzzle section by section, minimal sorting. I'm not much of a sorter, although I did try with this one! At least, I sorted out the film strip and stars! I'll be doing a video next week on the Dowdle 60,000 piece I'm writing on now (only 4,000 pieces left!) and I'll talk a lot more about strategy and storage and other things! I just didn't have time when I did this Disney puzzle, but I have a lot of time now! 🧩🥂 Thank you for watching!

Thank you! When I did this time lapses, I actually took pics after every few pieces were placed to save room on my computer. I thought the effect liked really cool without my hands in the tone lapse. I don't typically sort, so I would just take pieces out of the box and put them in and then take a picture. Adds a little extra time to puzzling, but you can't rush a beauty like this puzzle! 🥰🧩

How big is each individual section? Just trying to judge how big of a puzzle board is needed
The boards I use are 40x60 inches. Each section fits on it perfectly, as the section is probably a half inch smaller on each side. The foam core boards are light and easy to stack. You can find them at office depot! 🧩☺️

After watching many videos of it i took the plunge and ordered this puzzle on ebay 2 days ago. Got a decent deal its being shipped to me from Germany. From what i can tell its getting harder to even find one to purchase so I figured i better just buy one while I can find one lol. I dont even have it yet and Im already having that “what was I thinking” moment 😂 Super excited for the amazing experience of putting it together tho. 💜

Is this honestly the order you put the pieces in, or is this just some cool editing effect? I just got done with this puzzle. Now it's just sitting under a bed in sections till I figure out where I am going to display this massive masterpiece.
I honestly put the pieces together in this order! I like to try new things with putting puzzles together. Mine is also in sections waiting to be displayed! I just have no place to display it in my house. But hopefully one day I'll figure something out! Hope you do too! 🧩☺🧩

Thank you! I'm so excited for you! This was such a beautiful puzzle! When we hung up the 24k Life puzzle, we used doorskin, it's like thin plywood. We used double-sided tape to adhere the puzzle to the doorskin, leaving room around the puzzle for a wooden border. We used the extra doorskin area to screw the puzzle (doorskin rather) into the wall. Hope that makes sense. There's some videos here on RUclips on other ways to hang a big one! Mine's been hanging for 7 years now, so it worked pretty well! Have fun with the rest of this beautiful puzzle! 🥰🧩

I just finished snow white and started the jungle book yesterday.
Thank you! It might surprise you, but I thought the Little Mermaid was the toughest! And Fantasia the 2nd toughest. I had the most fun doing Peter Pan with the stop motion! I loved the Jungle Book and the Lion King! Really, I just loved them all! And Cinderella! When i watched the time lapse back, I felt like it was snowing in the puzzle! 🥰🧩 have fun with this one! I absolutely loved it!

The puzzle comes in 10 separate bags. I would love to mix a huge puzzle cause I have quite a few, but I have space issues and dogs and a cat! One day though, I will mix a big one!! 🧩😊

Thank you! This was a really fun puzzle! I use 40x60 inch foamcore board to put the sections together on. I stack a new board on top as I finish each section. Those boards will hold up to a 5,000 piece Ravensburger puzzle! I hope you can do this one puzzle one! It's amazing! 🧩🥰

I tried doing the 24000 piece one and only Able to finish halfway. Then we moved and down sized. I live in one room basically and share the condo. My beautiful puzzle still sitting in a closet unloved. I no longer have the same table I used before. I had used pink Fiberglas foam boards, which turned out bad for my health! If I ever get to live on my own then I will take it out again. With a new table.

Thank you! 🧩☺️ I use a program called Time Lapse Tool to make the individual time lapses. For this video, I took all the time lapses and put them in to Adobe Premiere and put them all together. It was my first time using Premiere and I still have a lot to learn! I want to learn After Affects to put more cool stuff in my videos!

Hi! Yes, all 10 parts are the same size! They're less than 40x60 inches each. The boards I use are 40x60 foamcore boards. 🧩😊

Do all the sections lock together or do you push them against each other at the end?
All the sections do actually lock together! The sections only had one or two border sides. It is a beautiful puzzle!
How did you store the finished sections?
I have it sandwiched in between the foam board I put it together on. They're secured with tape and wrapping so no pieces can fall out. And they're flat. Hoping to hang it one day! 😊🧩😊

Thankfully no! Lol! The puzzle came in 10 separate bags. I don't have the room to have 40k pieces mixed together! And my dogs would definitely destroy it if it was close to the floor! Lol! 🧩😊🧩

Beauty and the Beast was a fun section to do! My favorite to time lapse was Peter Pan! If you get a chance, watch the full time lapse of that one. It was really fun! I think my favorite section was Dumbo though. He's so cute! My favorite Disney movie is Snow White! 🥰
Where do you store each section until it’s all done ?
I stack the sections on top of each other. I use the 4ftx5ft foam core board and just stack the next section on the previous one! When I finished the whole puzzle I kept the sections together and wrapped them together pretty tight so they can't fall apart. Hoping to get it hung up one day! 🧩😊🧩

You're going to love this puzzle!! I think Beauty and the Beast was one of the easiest! I started with Bambi and Dumbo because I thought they were just the cutest! 🧩😍 they weren't terribly hard. The two sections I thought were the hardest were The Little Mermaid and Fantasia! Have fun and let me know what you decide to start with! 🧩😊🧩
What were the exact measurements for this puzzle? I would like to know so that I can get a thin wooden board big enough to fit it.

May I ask the measurements of the individual sections? I know the overall puzzle is 6.8 metres long x 1.9 metres wide. But how big are the 10 sections? Trying to figure out if it could fit on my puzzle table.
Each section is less than 3.5 ft by 5 ft. (I don't know what that is in meters) For each section, I use the foam core board which is 3.5 x 5 ft and they fit perfectly. They're easy to stack and keep secure until the entire puzzle is completed! They can be purchased at Office Depot if you're in the US. Hope that helps! 🧩😊🧩

You're right! If I had the space and no foot traffic, I would mix the pieces, but my life doesn't allow for that at this time. I have another 40k puzzle, a 33k, a 32k, and three 18k puzzles. I do plan to mix at least one of them in my lifetime, but that's a few more years down the road. So, in the meantime, I do them in sections. The end result is the same: a beautiful,amazing puzzle! I've been doing puzzles for 40 years, so for me, it's the joy of puzzling that I love. Hope you enjoyed the video and thank you for watching! 😊🧩😊

Thank you! And congrats to you as well! I did find the hidden Mickeys! I think the Peter Pan was the hardest to find! Were you able to find them all? I actually spent about 2 years on this one with a lot of breaks in between the sections. I had a lot going on! I did a lot of other puzzles in between these sections! I love this puzzle though! 😍 I have the Mickey Through the Years. Hoping to start that one this year, but probably won't be till next year.

Hi! How did you keep it safe, until you had done the other parts? amazing job, hopefully i ll be at that point sometime hahaha.
I use the 40x60 cm foam board, so when I finish one section, I just stacked the next one on top. When I got to 5, I took those sections and wrapped them tight with shrink-wrap and tape so the sections couldn't fall out of the board. When all the sections were done, we laid them out and then put them back in their super sealed sections of 5! They're still there. Hoping to hang it one day though! Have fun with this amazing puzzle! I have the 40k Mickey through the years as well. Hoping to start that some time this year! 🧩😊🧩

I used to have the Bambi puzzle in a smaller version as a kid, and my dog tries to do what your cat did (when I have to do puzzles on the floor) except he's bigger and moves pieces out of place
Bambi is a beautiful puzzle! I have 3 basset hounds, so putting a puzzle together on the floor would never work. Lol! They would lay on it and slobber on it and roll around. It'd be crazy. 😂
@@Addicted2Puzzles We got rid of most of our old Disney puzzles when I was a teen (sent them to an uncle I think) which stunk at the time because I used to do them with my grandma as a kid. Some were missing pieces so I think that's why my parents got rid of them.
We have a black lab and his fur covers the pieces somehow even when the puzzle is on a table. I did a Pokemon puzzle last night on the floor, so the carpet plus the dog fur made it a bit difficult and even when I kept trying to push him away, he still tried to play with his toy near the pieces.

I bet you wish your mom had kept the puzzles! I have a few puzzles I've had since I was little and I'm so thankful to still have them. A couple were of basset hounds and a couple of Disney puzzles from the late 70s. They still have all the pieces! Dogs are funny. They know when you're busy and that's the best time to play apparently. 🤣🤣 I do try and respond to all my comments. I'm not always this quick though! Happy puzzling! 🧩☺️🧩
@@Addicted2Puzzles I was disappointed the day we did it mainly because of the memories, but I hadn't done them in a while. That was probably 15 years ago (I'm late 20s now). I've been buying the Kinkade and other Disney puzzles lately that Walmart has, so the collection is coming back. Happy puzzling as well! :)

Addicted2Puzzles Have you ever mixed up the pieces before you start the puzzle? I like to do that but never had the chance to do a puzzle that big.
I would love to mix the pieces on a big puzzle, but I haven't yet. I don't have that much space, so I stick to doing sections. But one day, I plan to mix the 24k Life puzzle and a couple 18k Ravensburger puzzles. It will be a bit still, but that's my goal! 🧩☺️

I’ve done 5 1000 piece puzzles. 1 took me like 2 days and 4 took me like 9 days each.

@@pedrofelipecastaneda276 that is so true! But sometimes, it's just not possible to get a puzzle done quickly. If I get interrupted a lot by the family or it's a really difficult puzzle, a few days will be needed for sure. 🧩☺️ And the time lapse definitely adds a bit of time for me.

Am I the only 1 that thinks all the pieces for the whole puzzle should be in 1 box mixed together? This may have so many pieces and be the largest puzzle but its not really 1 whole proper puzzle but individual puzzles, so to me that's a cheat by the puzzle company. They dont even connect together!
I do agree with you that the puzzle should probably be 40k all mixed up, but honestly, I don't have space for all that! Lol! I did think about mixing it for a hot second but I have 3 dogs so the puzzle would never survive in the floor. But it is an option to mix all the sections. The puzzle does connect together completely as shown in the thumbnail picture. I forgot to add the completed picture at the end of the end. 😑 One day, I'll hang the entire thing, but I need a bigger wall. ☺️🧩

🐈⬛ His name was Mickey. He liked to puzzle with me, but only on the big puzzles and definitely got in the way, but he was a pretty sweet kitty. Sadly, he passed away last summer.
