RDJ is not only just the king of electronic music.. He have proved that almost the whole scene stands on his arms and we all hope that he will release some new material one day.
Ajax project - Ruffige....it´s an honour to hear AFX put a classic Icelandic old school tune in his set! Snæbjörn Þorgrímsson aka Bjössi Biogen and one of the founders of Ajax. R.I.P!
The First 2 tracks are : 1 . Crash Course in Science - ''Cardboard Lamb'' 2 . Tipper - ''Relish The Trough'' I can't stop listening to ''Relich The Trough''
wow, gorgeous tracks, a hypnotizing performance by Mr. James and those beautiful stage dancers, and a glorious rendition of Polynomial-C - only intensifies my love for Aphex Twin:D
Experimenting with just a plain fx module, a Roland SH-101 and an old taperecorder, i used to create simular noisez. ... then i got bored, sold my SH-101. Still own the recordings though the recorder went bust a long time ago. Nice to see some people still enjoy this. :-)
fucking good work man! that track has had me frustrated for quite a while. Its just so damn good. Tipper will definately be getting some money outta me in the near future.
Thanks man! I gonna see him live at the "donaufetsival" krems, austria and luke vibert is gonna play one hour befor he begins and i hope that they both will play a little bit together at the end of the aphex twin show! the only problem: It's only an aphex twin dj-set ;-(
The second song is called ''Rushup I Bank 12'' , by The Tuss ( a lot of people think Aphex Twin is The Tuss ) this video is just more proof that he is .
yesss a true genius, rushup edge, tuss tune back in 05, it's like he was preparing us for a great album 2 years before it was released, oh rich u saucy git haha
@KaunisRoheline23 It's by the Tuss, who is very likely to be one of RDJ's many aliases. The track is called Rushup 1 Bank 12. It's much better with full quality audio
Did i mention anything about Carboard lamb........I was simply stating that there is a track on there written by Aphex Twin, which you stated that there was not. If what you mean by a few months as being 204 months then yes your are correct, I bought my first Aphex Twin record in 1994and have had the pleasure of owning every release since. Now by my calculations when I bought my first Aphex Twin EP you were the ripe old age of 6. Did not mean to upset you in previous comment. Enjoy the Twin!
i NEED the name of the track playing right at the beginning, a few seconds in. not cardboard lamb, but the one right after that, you hear the melody play a few times then it goes into rushup bank 12 or whatever. that melody is freaking euphoric. please let me know if you do!!
Yeah I saw some of fuckbuttons but unfortunately I was so pissed and stoned by then and could barely stand so I had to chill back at my chalet. Did you see kling klang? I think they were the first band who played I bumped into the main guy at the pub and had a chat with him he was a top notch bloke. All in all tho it was a great festival and I'm pretty sure I may well go next year too.
i love this clip, especially with the song rushup bank. though it's kinda strange to just see mr. james hunched up there not really knowing what he's actually doing. anybody have any idea what he uses? ableton live? cdj's? turntables? any clues?
Your musical ear is depressingly limited. If you honestly can't hear the detail and quality in Aphex Twin's music, you're missing out on something truly special.
Indeed! It was great! (but a bit too loud, to be honest) and before the show he went trough the crowd, with luke vibert!!!! only 3 metres away from me!! peace!
how is he live??does it pay do see the master himself live?i mean is it like he'd play a few of his records and that's it, or is he as hot as a rockband live?requesting answears!!!
RDJ is not only just the king of electronic music.. He have proved that almost the whole scene stands on his arms and we all hope that he will release some new material one day.

Yeah I saw some of fuckbuttons but unfortunately I was so pissed and stoned by then and could barely stand so I had to chill back at my chalet. Did you see kling klang?
