This is good stuff. I saw him about 10 years ago, what a freakin trip. He spent the show napping on a couch with life sized stuffed animals bonking each other on stage next to him. Every once in a while a naked dude would just run across the stage. It went completely over my head at the time, I was expecting some Underworld-ian visual extravaganza. Pure genious.
I went to buck to Tokyo from NY for this Richard's Live at this time . I haven't seen him since he played Dj under the Mt. fuji. His melody was just amazing! I expect as much as last time but he made marvelously world!!
I never forget beats in my heart.!

Tuss's music is published by Chrysalis - not the sort of company who have their finger on the pulse of the Cornish techno underground, but the publishers for a certain Richard D James... If any one was as good and from cornwall RDJ would have ran them over in his tank.

@markenyou Not really confusing, more bamboozling. After all, we all knew why we were there, but NONE of us knew what to expect. I'll never forget it as long as I live. It was a real high-note of my live music experience to date.

I really wish people would actually listen. Honestly, all of you people droning on and on about the song not starting and not being able to dance to it: go to House, Drum and Bass, Techno, or really anything else that's "dancey" if you want to dance. I just want you all to use your ears and LISTEN to what he's doing up there. He was adding quite a bit to that seemingly simple bassline (simple to untrained ears). Just listen to everything he does to it. You're watching an electronic composer.

Him playing a Tuss song in a live set wouldn't prove much. He has stated that he often mixes up playing his stuff and other people's stuff and doesn't really give whether he's supposed to be djing or doing a live.

From what I can tell, RDJ didn't even show up to Bestival 2008.
@losmoros12 Most of us had just ran from the headline act 'Linkin Park'. AFX was on last that day, at about 10:00pm. Summer in Japan is exhausting.

lol aphex has said in interviews how he hates how ppl just stand around watching him like mooks since he got a reputation. I imagine it would be really annoying watching all those 'scenesters' staring at you vacantly while giving them such stellar aural pleasures- what a waste.

Why does everyone stand there like they are completly lifeless and express no fucking emotion?...Its kind of weird to be honest. I can only come up with one logical explanation which would be that everyone is completly spun and is 100% mesmerized by the music.
