Hi Rachel, youve got me excited now for the Christmas sweets, im going to have to go to Asda Monday & look for them, I counted the weeks & I think it's 19 week to christmas yippeeeee, have a brill holiday with your little boy xx
Hi rachel! Eek its almost time for your holiday! That slush puppie squash if its like the slusies you freeze they have brilliant blue and carmoisine or that red food colouring whatever they use now. I dont know if you son or nieces have am adverse reaction to food colourings but brilliant blue is one of the worst ones for causing a reaction. If not thats great just be wary that number 2s can turn green from the colour lol! As for taking sponges we stay in the hotel there and i still take washing up liquid and sponges as you got cups and water bottles to wash up. Also taking food from the restaurant we take fruit and yoghurt sometimes to leave in the room. I have taken little marmites and bread rolls but i think i read somewhere they dont do bread rolls at breakfast now. Not sure how true that is but yeah you have paid for it doesnt matter if you eat it at breakfast or for lunch you have paid for it. Also take the water bottles with you and fill them up with the juice from there to have during the day lots of people do. We fill up the night before leavig as well as on the departure day they run out of juice a lot of the time as everyone filling up for the journey home so we do it the night before and put in the fridge in the room. Lol. Hope you have the best time! X
I know my son is getting excited as he is doing football academy training this time. I have taken the slush puppies out now as your not the only one to tell me that do thought it would be best to leave them at home. I will check the bread rolls when I have breakfast there but will take some fruit with me. Great tip about filling up the drink bottles to especially the rose pear haha xx
@Solomumtoone oh don't tell Oscar about the rose pear lol! We changed restaurants last year to the deck cos he wanted to try there again but because they didn't have rose pear juice we went back to the hotel restaurant lol! I feel bad now about the slush puppies but thought it best in case the kids have reactions to them. The slushies they sell onsite also come with warnings that they may cause reactions in kids. Why they changed suppliers I don't know but we didn't have slushies this time. You will be there by now and we are very jealous! Have rhe best time! X
Absolutely no shame or guily picking up a few bits from the breakfast buffet thats a sensible mummy thing to do we always took a few bread rolls and bananas so we could have a banana sandwich to tied us over to teatime px
Banana sandwich I have never tried one of those. Picking up a few bread rolls is a great idea though thank you for the tip I will definitely do that xx
Just 2 let u know i buy the slush puppy squeezy dilute and omg are they strong so a little goes a long way. Although sugar free the colour is very intense a blue or red tongue is customary so i am assuming they are high regarding colour additives so perhaps limit to 1 a day . Upside is they are lush and i am 50 lol
Hi Rachel, just want to say that I hope you and your son have a wonderful, happy memory making holiday, tfs Jax ❤x
Thank you so much xx
