"To fall asleep to" you fucking monsters. 20 minutes in and i know I'm going to work tired tomorrow. That poor camera doesn't do these guys justice on how badass they're working in there.

Omg 50:09 was so sick, I had no idea backup fuel pumps were a thing. This whole video is amazing. As others have said if there's a way to get any speedo/tach telemetry on acreen that would take it to the next level. Or adding a pedal cam

well i believe it's a lapped race so they actually know the course before hand.
They were using pace notes. Just different than rally ones. That’s why he kept saying “easy” and “90” and “180”. Those are the pace notes. Though I don’t believe they are called pacenotes in baja
most the time trophy trucks are going long distances, such as the baja 500 or baja 1000 which takes multiple days of none stop racing to complete
I was gonna say the same thing. This is nothing like rally pace notes. I’m sure it would be much more similar in a Baja 500/1000. I didn’t realize they were doing laps till 28 min in the video lol
I used to work on trophy trucks u pre run the course if u can but u get GPS map. Easy means a slight turn and 90 and 180 are obvious it's one hell of a ride done 99 over whoops that where 2 feet deap 🤯

Woke up mid nap @ 50:15 because the soothing engine noises shutoff but luckily Nick swapped to fuel pump 2 and immediately started raging once again. Appreciate it guys, this is cheaper than therapy.

This is incredible. I'm not a trophy truck guy, but I've really been looking for some good long videos to sleep too. The only critic I wish to give is to use a mic external to the comms, so that we can have higher quality engine noise and less dialogue as often the brain tries to interpret information that is complex like speech even when asleep.
I need to just play this as ambient background noise while at work.... Y'all's truck sounds so wicked!

Whiskey throttle boys. Dump question though. To keep from getting peppered by all the rock y'all think about runnin chicken wire over the window. Maybe even 2 overlapped. Worked well for us when we ran UMP dirt late models.

Did very good with what they had, but 200hp extra would have helped a lot in these straights.
this is the spec truck class. they make about 525 hp. The unlimited trucks are making 850-1100 depending on the length of the race.
