A whole winter season would be badass!! I find this more exciting to watch than a 20 car dirt race. It also looks super fun for the drivers as well....

This is a really cool race but would be much cooler if they ran side by side the whole race, a true race completion with passing etc , running separate routes takes some excitement away

They didn’t have enough money. Well let me rephrase that. Red Bull HAS the money they just don’t want to SPEND it because they barely make a profit for 2016 and barely anything total since they started few years prior to 16’
MaxxRussia i hate that mentality. They should be pushing sport to the limit, not staying in the comfortable places. Yeah nascar is always going to be profitable but it will never be as interesting as stuff like this.

@@Prince_Luci but you also have to think about it from the business perspective. If it's not going to be making a profit and your just going to be loosing money doing it, it's better for them to stop doing it. That way they can spend their money on more profitable ventures.

Rick Johnson was a dear friend of mine mentor in motocross school. Of champions and he was the one and only who held Rick's clip board,,,, out of 10 mx riders of my friend students ages 3 to 14 7 riders went to the Supercross pros most in 50cc class. My friend now is injured from opening up for a rock band puddle. Of Mudd doing a back flip in 05 st.luey mis on his dirtbike.. wow what an athlete he was I bet

+POOpStiNkPiE that's a lot of facts bro i counter with the privilege of going to one of these events and hearing the engines and seeing them race is the most awesome thing ever. saying i was hyped would've been an understatement so yea when i clicked the video i expected to meet a vigorous host hyping the race up and keep me engaged like at the real thing.

We're I live in Canada they build an oval bike track on the river every winter, it's great .
Traxxas needs to make a Slash 4x4 Frozen Rush Limited Edition! Licensed spiked tires, aggressive waterproofing of the electronics plus an protective case below the body that seals off the inner workings from the snow, a differential and gearing that fits racing on snow, go 4s if necessary finish it off with a signature licensed Frozen Rush / Red Bull body, then release that baby I time for Xmas = 🤑🤑🤑! It's all here Traxxas, you just need to make it happen! Signature racing series would be the cherry on top!

I know this comment is 6 years after the race. I think Rob Maccachren stalled because he miscounted his gear shifts. Well, not so much miscounted as forgot to take into account starting in second gear. So both times he stalled it was because he thought in his head he was one gear lower than he was. It explains why he stalled in the first sharp corner in both his races. He even said he was in 3rd gear instead of second. For those that don't know, for guys racing at this level counting gear shifts is common practice to know what gear you are in. It keeps them from having to look down at a gear indicator taking their eyes off the course. For them, counting gear shifts would be like a professional musician counting to keep time or a typist not having to look at the keyboard. They just know, but change the instrument (i.e. starting one gear higher than normal) has the potential to throw everything off. Hopefully, Rob has figured out what happened. Racing at this level I would think he knew after the first run, but habits are hard to change.
