  • Between passive safety systems like airbags and active ones like lane departure warning and backup cameras, more and more vehicles are adding features that help keep drivers, passengers and pedestrians safe. Cars.com Industry Analyst Kelsey Mays and Allstate safety expert Mark Woirol discuss these systems and what vehicles have them.

TCAS needs improvement and should be made as evasive maneouver. Imagine an aircraft with unaware or untrained (trainee or random) pilot ordered or trying to do a go around & another plane is circling around right in front of him preparing for landing. The plane does not have 1000 feet room and time to avoid collission from incoming traffic or drone or anything. In this case, plane should turn left and order other plane to turn right (evasive something fighter pilots do during air shows), if its a drone, just kill its systems. Would it be possible to turn on reverse thruster on one engine to make the evasive maneouver more quicker?
If the collision is unavoidable, it should take the hit at the least vulnerable part. Plus imagine some sensor malfunctions at that moment.
You dont want to just apply brakes if there is another vehicle coming with larger momentum( high speed or bigger volume like truck), evasive maneouver is required

so basically, cars are now becoming more like airplanes such as boeing and airbus with their high tech crash avoidance systems......world has come to automated technology....
