@@oholi3934 This. Anyone could say ZyWoo, Dev1ce, Coldzera, NiKo...all absolute fucking monsters, but never even close to surpassing his skill level. A few years ago it would be a bit more difficult to make this argument, especially with his feud in teams, but now even looking at his statistics, he literally looks like he is smurfing, and you don't even need to watch his games to think that from his stats.
Only person I'd say to come close was maybe kennyS in his prime, even then, opposition back then was much easier and he still didn't reach the peak s1mple has, and he is still going.

@lucky strike yeah that was sad. That clutch probably would open up the round and give them a chance. But shit happens. It's such a close round too and we would've got a nice finals with Navi vs Astralis regardless if they win or not.
He knows the game very well and understand the core mechanics
he can adapt every situation and play confidently
his team doesn't interfere on his play style
he puts 13+ hours a day on cs which is 100+ hours in a week most pros put 70-80

i think simple is the best because of a thouand possible ingame decisions you can make, he is just doing the best possible decisions. It's the small details like when to peek or how to preaim, etc. Beside of his dedication and effort he puts into the game and his amazing talent. Just overall purely amazing to watch him play atm.
I disagree with you there. He does not take the best possible decision, he usually goes for the win regardless. It's similar to stewie2k, where the difference is s1mple has the surplus of raw skill to back him up in those decisions. Even when he's in a really bad position, you'll often see him trying to perform a miracle, unless he attempts and finds out there really is no way through. He comes out with good results because he has the balls to make the gamble, and the skill for the gamble to pay off.
you could be right. It's so tough to say. For me it feels like simple is just doing the right things in the right second. In CS:GO you somtimes have a quarter of a second time to decide what to do and simple is most of the time doing the right things. Maybe 3klikphilips should do an indepth analysis. :p
I think he takes the option that gives him the best chance of winning the round. It may not always be the best choice possible, but like you guys said, he has the skill to get away with it the vast majority of the time. His gamesense, timing and aim are consistently and undisputably as good as or better than each of the other top players at each of those things. His aim is par with prime Niko, his gamesense is as good as prime get_right, etc. He's the master of every aspect of the game. That's why he's the best player EVER.
I mean in that clutch against ence at major, he could play better in that situation but he want to make a highlight

You just talk condescendingly as if you're a pro yourself, and are aware of my "inferior" game level. I never said I even play cs go bud. 4:40 that is so true. When he was toxic and tried 1v5ing he would only 1v3 and wouldn't win as part of a team and people hated him. He grew so much as a person and that led to him growing as a player.

There are 2 ways to interpret this question: what does s1mple do that makes him better than others (clutches, insane aim and gamesense etc) and what allows him to be this good. The later is the better question and I feel like not many answered this. I'd say:
-fastest reaction time
-fastest thinker, therefore decision making
- played the most, so best aim. Combine aim with reaction time on the awp (1 shot kill)= almost seems impossible to win a 1v1 against him.
Also, how his aim is so good with high sensitivity makes it much quicker to acquire a target and kill someone. The only reason I use 1.46@400dpi is because I can't aim accurately with a sens any higher .
He is top 3 in every aspect of the game. Aim, game sense, baiting, awp, rifling, clutching, aggression and so on. He does not have ANY weaknesses

There's no such thing as talent here in csgo. Hardwork, confidence and dedication to this game is what made him today. He practices games different, spends more time on this game and loves this game more than anyone else. He spent more than 10,000 hours on this game and he keeps playing it daily for a few hours, placing csgo as number one on his list. He is the only one that accepted csgo and traded for everything he has and thats what made him number one.

L3G10N im not sure if he’s the best of all time. A lot of the all time greats have majors under their belt, while simple doesn’t have very many tournament wins. Solely based in skill however, he’s probably the most versatile and dominant player Counter Strike has ever seen.

Confidence to take duel against any player. Until and unless u don't put urself in those situations u won't know how to come out of those situation. Confidence to win any situation and to know how to play it. He has great aim but der r few players who have better aim then him but they lack confidence and experience.

NiKo is pretty good as well but not as good as s1mple, raw skills wise. Playstyle = s1mple, Aim = NiKo well, thats my honest opinion here. If s1mple have a pretty good teammates i feel like they'll be dominating or maybe rank 2 team in the world. Talent wise, he's one of the most talented players with his unorthodox plays(throwing awp, noscopes and etc)

Imagine having replacements for zeus or edward and they will have a better chances of winning over astralis or even major. consistency is one of the key on being at the top and astralis is a good example of it. If only s1mple's teammates have consistency every game imagine how monstrous navi would be
