    Great video ❤ I dropped out and I needed a transcript for a job promo so I ended up purchasing it online for $500

    Yes, for NCAA info, please!! I love watching your videos. Thank you for taking the time to share them. Another Indiana mom with an NCAA driven student here🙋‍♀️. There is very little info out there for us. The FB page has been super helpful, but any content you wanted to share would be wonderful. You mentioned that you have CCWs ready...are you printing them and filling the out or able to fill out and save? Thanks again! Have a wonderful weekend...cold and snowy😉

      It does often seem like we have to hunt for information as homeschoolers. They don’t always make it easy for us! I’ll be sure to share about the NCAA requirements in a future video.
      The course worksheets downloaded as fillable PDFs on the NCAA site. I saved the template then have been filling them out and saving on my computer as we go along. Just created a folder marked NCAA forms and have them all in there so they’ll be all set to go when it’s time to send them in.

    There's also a School Courses for Exchange of Data (SCED) master list of high school courses. You can look at their master list for lots of high school course names.

      I do have one up! It’s from a few months back. Look for “So Your Homeschooler Wants to Play College Sports”

    Very helpful. I sat in on a HSLDA workshop and they briefly mentioned that 8th grade classes could count towards HS but they only mentioned Physical science, Alegbra 1 and Foreign Language. I am also in Indiana...is there a specific resource you found that shows the different type of classes that would qualify for credit? After that class I left assuming it was only those 3...but obviously I missed something in my spinning head 😅...thank you so much!!

      I can’t speak to what the rules are in other states, but Indiana doesn’t have any rules for what you can or cannot give credit for. If we used material that was high school level, I gave a HS credit. My daughter earned credits in Health, Algebra, Geography and Cultures, and Personal Finance all in 8th grade. My son did Health, Apologetics, Personal Finance, Logic and German 1 all in 8th grade as well

      Hmmm… my son is in an online combo science class geared for 6-9 grade. He’s in 8th now. Maybe we could use that? It will depend on his grade, too, hehe!

      There is an NCAA video up on my channel where I go through their requirements for homeschool students in detail.

    Do dual enrollment courses actually have a homeschool course they replace. I am trying to stay with the core 4. Would English 101 replace English IV?

    • @mypracticallyimperfectlife
      @mypracticallyimperfectlife  Год назад +1

      Usually you can decide if you want it to replace a course. You can list the course on the transcript and denote it as a dual enrollment course and where it was taken. When sending transcripts as part of a college application, you will want to ensure you send not only the transcript you created but also ones from any school your teen took a dual enrollment course

    I am struggling with filling out my son's transcript. What do you do if your child is in 9th but not doing 9th grade math yet?

    hello, I was wondering how much you keep of their work each year for high school? Do you keep it all? Or only a few pieces of it? thank you!

    • @mypracticallyimperfectlife
      @mypracticallyimperfectlife  8 месяцев назад +1

      I just keep a few physical copies…narration journals, lab books. Our state doesn’t require us to turn anything in. Their papers they save to our computer so most of those are in our cloud based storage

    Hi. Does the school name you put on the transcript have to be registered as a business?

    • @mypracticallyimperfectlife
      @mypracticallyimperfectlife  Год назад +1

      No it does not. We just chose a name and then I’ve been consistent in using it on our transcripts
