I have such a soft spot for Liverpool new wave, these guys, Pete Wylie, OMD, Lightning Seeds (although they’re predominantly known as a Britpop band they still have that new wave type sound carried over into the 90s). Honestly China Crisis deserve to be on par with The Beatles as one of the city’s best most beloved acts. Saw them at Rewind North, what a band.
