Lisa, love your top and really enjoyed the video
thanks bill and lisa great food and desert
Was taking a swallow of Pepsi when Bill said "kinda the foo foo part of L.A.". Ain't gonna lie...I spewed that Pepsi all over my keyboard! 🤣
LOL Pam!!
I used to live 5 minutes away back in the 90's which was before the Grove. Used to LOVE the Farmer's Market esp Saturday nights for karaoke and DuPar's was a great hangover place. Some of those food stalls had been there for decades. Thanks so much for the tour!
07:14 - Ahhh, Boston Baked Beans. As a kid, I was a fiend for these.
The bloopers are part of why we love you! #lisasnotdriving
Woohoo back in LA 🔥

Thanx for sharing. Love seeing all the places you go to in LA. My husband lived in Montclair/Clairmont back in the day. He loved. Said he loved walking to school through the orange groves. Some day I'll get there. Stay safe. Safe travels. Karen
Should’ve did the bbq skipped the chicken sandwich
Next time!
Love your travels but also enjoy when you stay home and visit hometown places, especially the Farmer's Market.
So many places in LA to check out and eat!
The Grove really thinks they are sf with that trolley! Lol great video you two 😁🤟
Dupars is fantastic. The best pancakes in all of L.A.! And their pies are the best. Warmed boysenberry pie a la mode is beyond description!!!
We missed you by two days. I would love to run into you both one day!

Had to giggle when Bill said ... "fufu part of LA". I'm over here in the SGV east of Pasadena and never have I been to the Grove. When I was younger, we visited the Farmer's Market quite often. Fun video!
I appreciate the great tips on where to eat...I love food markets but find them overwhelming!
I just want to hang out for one trip with y'all..so cool my favorite foodies ever!!!😋😋♥️♥️
Your new child here wants some 😂🤙🏽

Bill & Lisa! Keep up the great work!
Hey guys, would love to see a video or two in Lake Tahoe! We are headed there in November and would love to see the good spots, I know not too far from LA 🙂
“It won’t make it home” 😂😂 I totally felt this.
Lisa & Bill you guys are eating too much fried stuff such as empanadas 🥟 and chicken 🐓!! The crab and eel sushi rolls are delicious of course, haha!!
Love the variety of places! Trips around LA are fun!!
Oh my goodness! The sushi looks delicious 😋 So happy you guys are doing more eateries around LA. We forgot all about Farmers Market. Need to make a road trip 🚘
I really love when you show the QR codes! I literally pull up the menus and peruse them on my phone while watching you on my iPad. Oh my gosh the French crepes with the Grand Marnier sound so yummy. That kind of softer toffee is my favorite sweet treat.
At last! So Cal vloggers exploring Farmer's Market and the Grove. It's about time.
We have a lot more LA eats in our library, just search 'Bill Lisa LA eats'.
I been there before. Love ❤ the place. Now I want to go again .
Call me weird but I'm dying to know what's in your fridge. I'm imagining the best stocked fridge and cupboards ever! You guys are SERIOUS foodies!! 🤩
The toffee segment is one of my favorites ever! I could practically taste it along with you.
Where’s the ☕️ on to go with the toffee?😂Looks like a great hang out place.👍🏻
Happy Sunday folks....love it
Another great video 👌
Blue ribbon Red rock was memorable and service was epic!!
Hi Bill and Lisa, Oh gosh the sushi looked fantastic, and that’s a great market you both went to, I’d love to spend a whole day there, I love markets.
you have to try the philly empanada! so good
and ask for the chimichurri sauce!
😋
A moment of silence for the toffee...Lol Thanks for the video Lisa and Bill!
Bill!! I have to do the sane thing with my chop sticks. Can not eat with dry sticks. I force them into my mouth and suck them first but even that is a chore. I have to have sushi today. Good video.
Thank you, Sherri! Knew I wasn't the only one. lol
I've had Littlejohns ONCE about a decade ago and never forgot it. Amazing! Here's another recommendation for you in CA: Craft by Smoke and Fire in downtown Anaheim, relatively new and a very rare 5 STARS (not 4.5) with 1000+ Yelp reviews! Finally a California place that knows how to cook meats very thoroughly. And yet, the best part of my meal was the BREAD PUDDING! Stunningly good! You may be making a rare shocked face on camera over this delectable dessert!
Thanks for the rec!
So enjoyed this video!!! Thankyou for taking me back in time when my family used to go once a week!!! Looks better than ever!!!
Hi guys noticing your food choices and looking great you two
Shaqs chicken looks better!love your Disney two finger point Lisa!
Agreed! Shaq's Big Chicken way better! lol
Those pies looked wonderful and were really reasonably priced! Even in the Big City! 🥧👍
Yum!!!
Lisa & Bill, I love your blogs they always make me smile. Can't wait to get back to CA.
That English toffee looks so good! 😊
The chicken sandwich and the empanadas , sushi look good . I love too far from the grove la.
Happy Spring Bill & Lisa! Thanks for the LA vid, looks like a lot to eat & stores to check out. Enjoy your Sunday!💞😊🌼

There’s a Blue Ribbon in Las Vegas at Red Rock casino as well… love both locations. I recommend the Yuzu drink just refreshing and delicious.
Thank you!
You both are so cool! Great blog👍🏼
I like your blouse Lisa👍….always enjoy your videos!
Oh thank you!
New here on your channel, your videos are awesome. The food looks delicious.
Welcome to our channel, H Fam!
Damn I miss going there around Christmas time where the place is all lid up with lights and that huge Christmas tree with fake snow falling down. And meeting tourists from other states bc their college football teams are playing in the rose bowl
I’m sad that you didn’t enjoy Fritzi Coop. They are usually excellent. My favorite sandwich is the Stinger. Love the farmer’s market. It’s great when you go local. Please try Burgerlords soon!
Maybe it's the way they prepare their tenders? Maybe we'll give them another crack one day.
Wow backwards. Lol
That was so funny!!!
Hi I love your vlogs can u say hi to Steve from uk on one of your vlogs thanks xxx
Yum Dungeness crab Cali rolls
One of the best Cali Rolls!
I just visited the place today!
Unagi is my favorite. I'm surprised Lisa didn't roll her eyes when Bill did that backwards 'wow' joke. I want to be a bystander around that pie counter and convince people to get the big pie and not the mini pie. I've eaten at that French Crepe Company about 6 years ago. Is the Barnes and Nobles still there? I'm fascinated how they label the empanadas lol.
Yup, the B&N is still there!
Awwww the toffee looks delish!! Is the farmers market walking distance to The Grove?
Yup! Just a walkway separates the two.
They both occupy one gigantic piece of property. Sadly, The Grove took many things we loved in the Farmers Market to build the Grove. Some of the property (owned by the Gilmore Company) was sold to a man man named Rick Caruso, who has built several ‘Groves’ in order to avoid paying higher property taxes. However, The Grove has something like a 99-year lease and the Gilmore Co. remains the owner of the property. NOTE: Mr. Caruso ran unsuccessfully for L.A. Mayor. It is thought that he may make another run for it and I, for one, hope he does and wins!!! L.A. and California are desperate for a return to conservative leadership to revive our once great state to the fantastic place it truly is!!!
Glad you splurged, that imitation krab is so gross and too fake fishy to me. The corn empanada looks yummy!
Imitation krab is NASTY AF!! Real crab all the way.
Have you tried Ethel M‘s toffee in Las Vegas it is excellent
Awww I didn’t get my bday shout out. Great video🙌🏼
Our apology, we thought we did on the last vlog. Look for it in the 2nd video coming out. 👍🏼
Pampas grill in farmer market is really good
Their food is really amazing.
Fun adventure, guys. And I’m catching up on your fun videos, My idiot brother n law ordered Tiramisu for a wedding cake. No one touched it😆
LOL! Not traditional, but we would've tried a slice. haha
A big loss for the uneducated guests. Tiramisu beats wedding cake any and every time!!!!
next time you guys are in atlanta, check out the iberian pig in downtown decatur for an absolutely bitchin empanada!
Hara adai from Guam
🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️🥰❤️🥰🍷🥃
I watched your Q&A, I have one, what happens if you’re away somewhere and they cancel your return flight.
Great question. If out of the county, the priority is to get back to the States any way possible. Once in the US, we can make our way back to CA.
If domestic, make our way to one of our hubs (Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, Seattle, Salt Lake City), then connect to LA.
Littlejohns fudge is the best!!!
Yes!!!
Thank you for the fun food and travel videos! Would you please give a feliz cumpleaños shout out to my sister Pati for her birthday this Friday March 25?
Ok Bill...let's talk about dipping your chopsticks in water shall we? 😆🤔🤨 Why? Where did you get that from? You can't say it's a "Torrance" thing....it's not LOL
Dry wood in mouth 👎🏼😅
🤣😂🤪🥢🥢🥢
WONDERING IF I COULD GET A SHOUT OUT FOR ME AND MY HUSBANDS 35TH WEDDING ANIVERSARY ON THE 21ST OF MARCH THANKS
Of course!!
Bill why you always cut away as soon as you put the food in your mouth instead of just showing you finish your first bite and giving your thoughts? Sometimes you'll show Lisa chewing and finishing her bite but you seem to cut your own shots short way more often. There's always a transition when you edit your own bites. Not just in this particular vid but generally
Mainly because we choose not to show us just chewing for several seconds after taking a (large) bite with no dialog. Small bites we tend to not cutaway. In short, we try to keep commentary going. Thanks for asking though, others may wonder the same thing.
@@billandlisa Cool, I had been wondering for a while. Thanks for always being so responsive!
One thing that stays constant in L.A. is the OVERPRICING and the ever reduced portions of food in the Farmers Market. It’s a fun place but I cannot begin to tell you how ridiculously ‘taken’ you are getting. I’m a native Angelino who ‘grew up’ in the market. Once upon a time, a very long time ago, you could eat at an OK price at a couple of stalls. But now, if you are a tourist, coming to the Market with a child or more, you can easily get close to $100 or more for food, drink and parking. Free parking only for 1-1/2 hrs. Then it goes into exorbitant ($$$) time! You will spend half that time just ordering, getting your food and a table. It is a unique, great people watching place but a COMPLETE RIP-OFF. I always feel so bad watching the tourists with sticker shock. When out of town visitors pack in the place the day before and the day after a Rose Bowl game, it is absolutely sad to see everyone getting ‘taken’ on everything from soup to nuts, literally! Forewarned is forearmed. Come and look, walk around, maybe get a coffee; but then go elsewhere, to one of L.A.’s many (MANY) wonderful restaurants for a quality meal at a much fairer price!!!
@Bill & Lisa: are you Japanese American from LA or from Hawaii?
I'm Japanese, Lisa is Chinese, both of us born here in the US.
