I was there when this video was made and was asked if I wanted to be in it and I chickened out big mistake. Great guy and song writer. Wish you all the luck Marty.
This old country boy loved this man's music from the very first time I heard it many years ago and I still love his music today, Marty if ya read my comments on here just know that Loretta my wife and the folks here in Alabama love you love you're song's and your down to earth life and personality.
OMG you are so great. The perfect country rick song melody. The only reason you are not as famous as Dwight To Alan is that you did not get the right promotion. I know this style is older but just like rockabilly from the 1959s it had a resurgence. This style will come back. Ivy Lite Rocway. Keep on thanking Jesus for all your blessings and he will lead you to Glorify God. The joy of the lord is our strength. Sing your heart out country boy.
I have been looking for this song for years! My cousin and I just loved this song growing up (I was about 12 and he was about 7). I started to think that we had made the song up because no one remembered the song. The part of the song that I remembered was the part that goes, "Every now and then, I get that ol'time feeling". Everyone would say that they didn't remember a song like that. When they would ask who sung the song I would say, "Something Brown". Of course that didn't help. So for years I would check RUclips from time to time with no success. So thank you for uploading this video. My mystery song has surfaced and now on to another mystery.
My other mystery song I have of Marty Brown goes, "...and this old bottle...". That's all that I remember of this song but now that I know the full name of six singer, it should not be hard to find...I hope.

I played this a lot in circulation when I was a country DJ in the 90’s.

Look at how pretty that guitar is there! Lots of years and mils on that one.
Marty is one of the best song writers. His only problem, he didn’t know how to wear a cowboy hat
Has an Everly Brothers flavor.
The music industry sure lost their ass when turning this young man away!!! I sure hope so!!! 🤷
This is a old video
