Oh my goodness. I have only looked & searched & emailed for this video for-well 20 years!!! And the reason being is because I was there this night that this was filmed. My parents & I are sitting in the balcony over the announcers booth (due to a mix-up we sat in the "Presidents Seats"). My grandfather had taken us to Nashville for a high school graduation present for me & it was shortly before he had a stroke. Marty Brown was also doing a part in a Dan Rather documentary that weekend for 48 Hours which was also being filmed then. Marty used to do concerts on the roofs of Walmarts & most recently was on America's Got Talent. This was part of a half hour portion that was live on The Nashville Network cable station as well as WSM Radio. Porter Wagoner had hosted a live backstage portion a half hour before. The camera points to where we are sitting several times. Its not the best quality video but I am pretty convinced I see myself flashing my camera (which of course I did because I knew at some point in my life I would find this video & say--that's me--flashing my camera flash). Anyway, even though you cant make out me & grandfather its nice to know those moving shadows are us together. Special memory. Gary. facebook.com/gary.holmes.2 Elkton, Maryland. In loving Memory of William Elree Stancill.
