I'm 48 and have bilateral idiopathic uveitis and curtain like floaters from pvds. Steroids over the past year have ruined my vision. Next week I get the Eyehance instead of the new version of Vivity due to the known material longevity. Unfortunately I only get one shot at this due to previous vitrectomy surgeries. Hoping these lenses work for the rest of my life.
Got the Eyhance one week ago. Need glasses to read near or see text at intermediate. My one week post op only let me read the two lines that have three letters. I was hoping for more. Whites and colors are very vivid. I see clearly out my window. Maybe my vision was set for 200 feet instead of 20?
I had Eyhance toric 2s put in my eyes 3 weeks ago. Ruined my vision compared to before surgery. I see partly double causing blurry vision starting about 3 ft out. Further out the worse it gets. Don't get them. I regret doing it as I had sharp vision from up close to the horizon. Just had some cadacts. Gave a slight yellowish tint. Now how much is it going to cost to fix this if it is possible. I shelled out 3k to have the toric's put in. I'm busted money wise.
So what is the course of action you and your eye doctor will take? Can you wear glasses to correct your blurry double vision? I have early stages of cataract in my right eye plus also astigmatism.
@@CC-uh8gl I haven't seen his yet. But if your eyes are doing okay for yourself don't get them done. Wait or don't do it. I could see well at distance now I can't. I regret again on doing this as the results aren't good. I had old eyes but worked well enough. I swallowed all the bull crap from the videos on this and now regret it.
As far as I watched and read, the synergy have a high percentage of dissatisfaction or IOL exchange surgery. With all the testimonies I've come across, I'm staying away from the synergy for myself.
The Eyhance, though only an extended monofocal, supposedly delivers higher quality and contrast, but prescription glasses will probably be needed. For myself, as of now, I'm considering the new Rayner RayOne EMV IOL which is very similar to the Eyhance, but said, by serveral doctors on the Rayner websites and channels, to have even better results.
@@anassyria5176 I have not heard about the calcification rate of the Rayone EMV. It's hydrophilic and they are prone to calcification - which is bad news indeed.

I use such lens. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the lens. I am 40 years I have no complaints against the doctors. For 65+, a good option is possible. But for those who are younger, it is better to install at least Symfony and Synergy. With Eyhance you will suffer greatly with far vision or wear glasses. It's a pity that the lenses are put in actually only once in a lifetime (only in super emergency cases you can change them).

How did your surgery go?? I am 51 with PVD and is deciding regarding a Vivity RLE surgery….
Why music so loud
Good outcome. The patients I operate with Eyhance, I aim for -0,50 and -1,00. Or Plano and -0,75.

i'm getting Eyhance on Monday. How many of you were able to lose your glasses for computer and such?

Whats the aiming ? Plano and -0.50 ???
Great question! Especially since he sees J2 at near, it would be amazing if both eyes are done at plane O

I am confused between tecnis synergy and eyhance ?
Which one is better according to you??

I do not like the Eyhance lens. My vision was better before my cataract surgery!

I see this same copy and pasted reply under every eyhance video I've viewed.
Please take off the mask to speak. What is the point? It’s very hard to understand you.
Perhaps this was recorded during Covid requirements for masking?
The music on the other hand is intolerable.
