  • It finally happened for me, but i suppose it was always going to happen eventually. The worst has happened for the channel... We got scammed. We got scammed out of a Japanese 151 booster box as we didn't get the guaranteed hit we were supposed to.
    I'm pretty convinced this is a resealed box, but I'm curious what the community thinks.

    Ok so you're trying to show a LEGIT video of a fake booster box, but decided to cut out several parts. Why? Why not just play the whole thing through so we can see everything as it happens. The side which you showed to be broken and 'glued' was not unstuck during the opening of the video. After a cut in the video, you then show it unstuck. Your argument is that you didn't receive the right pull rates however did not actually show us all your pulls? You did not inspect the pack wrappers at all, or didn't show us them at all, which is a big clue into whether a pack has been opened and resealed. In fact reviewing the way they were being opened was absolutely what you would expect from a normal pack. The packs we saw you open had decent pulls in, and were as we would expect. Why would someone reseal a box but still give you very good cards? This is really inconsistent with genuine fake Pokémon booster boxes. You got a duplicated Arbok EX which is not uncommon at all, and used this as another reason why it could be fake, not sure why that makes sense. The top being popped in is very common, and packs slipping above the sleeve is also very possible in a real box. From the start you were illustrating this as a possible fake box with actually very little evidence of it being fake. Overall acting I'd say was 4/10. I could be wrong but I'm just not buying this at all. DM me to let me know if I'm spot on. This is sussy bussy as you said.

    check the serial number on each pack, normally located on the inner center part of the flap. all 20 packs should have the same number and if you see one or two with different numbers then you know for sure they weighed it and replaced it.

    • @CollectorSky
      @CollectorSky  11 месяцев назад +4

      Yeah I did this after someone else commented the same thing. I did find 1 pack with a different serial number. half of them didn’t have a code at all, which could also mean tampering. Thanks for your help!

    • @theyo-kaiguy
      @theyo-kaiguy 10 месяцев назад

      Although that doesn’t necessarily mean that someone tampered with the items, sometimes numbers can get mixed up and they accidentally print the wrong serial number, or they accidentally put different packs into another box, it’s rare, but it does happen

    • @Trainer_Red.....
      @Trainer_Red..... 10 месяцев назад

      @theyo-kaiguy every box contain atleast 1 pack that contains a SAR or even a SR. He had none. So therefore there should be atleast ONE pack with a different serial number than the rest.

    So in no particular order in a booster box you get upto 1 masterball reverse holo, 4-5 ex holos, 3-4 SRs of full arts and then 1 either SAR or a Full Art Trainer but not both. The exception is a god pack so far. I have not see anyone pull both a Trainer and then a SAR. In this set yet.

I have no idea if you can raise a complaint with ebay about it, but maybe that is an option.

    Each pack does actually have a serial batch number and all 20 packs should have the same serial code. I actually bought mine without the box but it was a trust worthy seller and all the 20 packs had the same serial batch number plus I got the standard hits 3 ARs and 1 SR. I'm sad you got scammed I hope you find a trustworthy seller.

    on Japanese cards common = C, uncommon = UC, R = rare, Secret Rare = SR, and what every god pack is filled with Secret Art Rare = SAR. This is all found on the bottom of the cards so you'll now which is which

  • @diegogarcia2099
    @diegogarcia2099 2 месяца назад

    So from my experience in one sealed case (12 booster boxes) you will have guaranteed 1 masterball reverse holo for each booster box and only 1-2 guaranteed SAR per sealed case hopes this helps if you haven’t realized this so technically if you buy just a booster box you aren’t guaranteed a SAR

    • @CollectorSky
      @CollectorSky  2 месяца назад

      Yes I think I misspoke somewhere in the video. You aren’t guaranteed an SAR, but you should get an SR or above in each box. I’m about to open another Japanese box from the reprint, hoping this time it isn’t tampered.

    3 AR per box
    1-2 SR per box
    SAR 1 in 6 boxes
    UR 1 in 12 boxes
    God pack ??
    it probably was resealed unfortunately or just a weird box?

      If you are buying Amazon fulfilled then it doesn't matter who the seller is as inventory is co-mingled so legit stock from legit sellers will mix with reseals and choosing the seller doesn't really matter at that point. The sellers also ship to Amazon because any negative feedback is automatically removed since it was fulfilled by Amazon so they just keep scamming. Tracking dozens of sellers who are resealing, and have been selling without issue on Amazon for many many months if not years. Reporting them gets nowhere. Go to your local hobby shop, ask them if they accept tcg returns and you're a lot less likely to be scammed. Of course this was not possible with a Japanese release but in that case ebay may be the way to go since you are ordering direct. Sad for the community.

      @@CollectorSky You can’t tear JPPC shrink like paper or thick plastic, it just stretches until it rips. The noise of moving the shrink around is also a lot less noisy. JPPC shrink is very thin, the best example of what JPPC is like is cling film wrap you find in the kitchen section for food except it doesn’t stick to itself. The weight of a legit 151 box is 267g-275g. Those are the weights of 25+ boxes that have gone through me since release. Each box you are guaranteed. 1 of either SAR/SR/UR, 1 Masterball, 3 AR, 4 EX & between 7-9 Holos. The numbers on the packs should also match if some don’t have numbers at all from a box that’s pretty normal if one has a completely different pack number then it’s a reseal.
